Dear readers,
THORN is a little differnt to my usual, it’s a high school bully romance with high levels of angst, drama and emotions. It is an upper YA romance and not intended for readers under 17.

Wow, this was a fast paced read for me and a really good bully romance. You think Jake Thorn has the perfect life, the money, the fame of being the football Captain and girls begging for his attention, well you would think wrong and it only takes one look at the somewhat broken Amelie to bring this bad boy to his knees.
Amelie is trying to get over the death of her parents and her big move from the UK to the USA. She has to start a new school and basically wants to stay under the radar which isn’t going to happen when Jake takes an instant dislike to her and tries to make her life a living hell. There are some really cruel moments from Jake in this book and the things that not only he does to her but also his gang. Amy is the strong sort though and she isn’t going to let this bad boy best her, if anything she is going to keep pushing at him until she finds out what his problem is.
There is definitely a connection between the two straight away and it is a slow burn to red hotness in 0.1 seconds. There is a lot of development between the two characters and how they feel as well as what has sparked the trauma between the two of them, which in essence brings them closer together.
This is a great bully romance/ enemy to lovers’ book which is an easy read with a great story-line. It would be interesting to pop back in on these characters when they are older to see if any of the issues had been resolved and how they are handling things.
ARC received for a fair and honest review.

Jake thorn is the king of the football field and his high school Amalie has lost her parents and instead of continuing her life and education in England shes living with her grandmother and having to go to high school for two years and one boy is making her life miserable as if loosing her parents wasn’t enough.
Jake or Jacob Thorn is the most infuriating angry hurt young man ever and instead of dealing with stuff he bottles it up and goes after Amalie because she represents to much pain and not enough love. You will either completely hate him when you read this book or you will get him by the end of the book and learn to like him. Amalie is the perfect fit for Jake rough ugle edges she is strong won’t allow him to when even when he is at his worst.

This book is not like Tracy’s other books. Jake Thorn is much more of a jerk than her usual men but, oh, does he grow on you! I’m a sucker for bad boy and he’s officially won my heart. Very good book. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love Bully Romances. This is on the top of my list for favorites. There was just something about this one that hooked me from the beginning until the end. There is a lot of emotion and angry in this one. Tracy did such a great job writing this one. Two amazing characters who have their own separate story to tell but yet quite the story once they are together. Amalie has been dealt a very rough blow to her life. She comes to a new school to start her life over living with her grandmother. She instantly finds that people at this school don’t like her and one boy hates her and she doesn’t understand why. He will literally do anything to hurt her. But she doesn’t understand why he is making her life a living hell. Jake Thorn king of the school. Star football player, sexy, everyone’s friend. But not to Amalie. He cant stand her. But things start to change. Once they start to change hold on because that is when this storyline blows you out of the water. Intense, interesting, and downright gripping. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Jake and Amalie once they figure out what is going on. This was well written, intense, interesting and gripping. I was hooked with this storyline. Another great bully romance. Absolutely loved. Highly recommend reading this one.
This is a great read with an awesome storyline that has well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storyline makes for a good reading time.

Thorn is a YA bully romance between Jake and Amelia. I’ve read a few of these high school bully romances and this one so far is pretty good. Amelia is new to the school and Jake is a senior who thinks what he says goes. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to see what happens in book two.
I’m so happy that Tracy wrote for this trope. I’m not usually a YA reader but wow…this book blew me away. I was hooked from the start. Tracy can pretty much write anything and it’s amazing. I really enjoyed this book a lot and can’t wait for more.

I absolutely love bully romances and Thorn is just that. Amelia moved to the states after the death of her parents only to be her new schools outcast.
Jake is the king of the school, everyone loves him or wants to be him. Quarterback for the football team and the hottest guy in school has him ruling the school. He is riding his high until she shows up, all it takes is one look at her and he automatically hates her.
I loved this! Jake and Amelia are fantastic characters and each of their stories are heartbreaking. You’ll definitely want to read this especially if bully books are your thing.
Thorn by Tracy Lorraine is an awesome read, an enemies-to-lovers romance story that filled with drama, angst and suspense.a heartwarming and touching story of Amalie and Jake,i couldnt put it down,a must have and read! well done!

Worth the reading 5 stars
I had not read the review before but had heard that this book was coming and that it was a bully book
I’m not disappointed it was a fantastic book from enemies to lovers
The characters were interesting
Amelie has lost her both parents in a terrible accident,
and has to move from England to America to live with her grandmother
She also has to start a new school
On the first day of going to a new school, she meets the hottest guy in school,
who promises to make her life hell
“You don’t belong here, New Girl. I’d take this warning very seriously if I were you because I can make your life very, very hard.”
But for what reason, unfortunately, the girl does not know
I really like Amelie as a heroine she was strong even when,
she had just lost her parents she stood up for herself
When she was bullied or when the boy went too far with his stunts
Jake and Amelie were hot us hell together there
was plenty of chemistry between them
Jake Thorn nor has this boy’s life been easy, abandoned by his mother as a child
No one knows much about him except his best friend Mason with whom he has grown up
He has put his pain on the sport for parties, girls, and drinking
If he gets upset then he’s like a cactus
He’s Captain of the football team, also boys want to be in his place and girls want to be with him
Bully and manwhore when he meets the beautiful Amelie,
he decides to make this girl life hell
Jake Thorn hates Amalie, the new girl, on sight, but why?
When it comes to other characters I really liked Jake’s best friends Mason and Ethan
They weren’t bullies at least not to Amelie even though they did what Jake asked
And where there are beautiful boys, there are beautiful bad girls
Amelie’s best friend Camila this girl was like a mother lion protecting her as she could
I have to mention Shane, who has a role to play there too
And of course, Chelsea bad girl who from the first day of school hates Amelie
Overall: Well written is definitely not boring to read, emotional
there is a lot of jealousy, misunderstanding teen problems, parties
bullying, and hot scenes!!!
Story told Jake and Amelie point of views
The epilogue was?
I am very pleased that I have read this book and I would recommend that you read it too!
And I’m looking forward to another book coming out in February
Mason and Camila their love story!
The development of the characters in this beautiful story is why I love to read. When the details are so real, it makes the reader feel like part of the story!

This is book one in the Rosewood series and it is a bully romance themed story. Meet Jake, the high school quarterback and Amalie, the new girl from London. Her parents have passed and she moves to the US to live with her grandmother. This story is chalked full with emotions and a rollercoaster ride of events that seem to push them two characters apart and snaps them back together. Can they figure it all out before it is too late and the damage done destroys everything? Enjoy!

What a great start to a new series. The hate that Jake Thorn has for Amalie is palpable from the moment he sets his sights on her. Extremely good writing to be able to express this hate in words that sets your heart pounding. Poor Amalie has had her life turned around with the death of her parents and having to start in a different country and school. There is a sort of attraction between them but the tension is always there. Super characters and also the supporting cast. I am looking forward to the next book in this series with anticipation. Super writing and highly recommended.

And a Half Stars
I am a huge Tracy Lorraine fan and have binge read every book by her that I can get my greedy little hands on. When an ARC of Thorn was offered to me I took it. I am not a huge bully romance reader but this book is the exception. Jake is an arrogant, sexy a**hole, he is the quintessential bully. But as the story progresses we discover that there is more to this alpha bad boy than meets the eye. Amalie is beautifully broken, having lost both her parents, she is forced to move to the US to live with her grandmother. When these two damaged souls meet sparks fly and the beast that is Jake is let loose. Amalie proves to be no wallflower and holds her own. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and as in all good enemies to lovers stories their coming together is bittersweet. I look forward to reading the next book in the series “Paine” and recommend you TBR both.
