“The internet thinks I’m a homewrecker and your band’s fans are out for blood.”“Just convince them you’re with somebody else. Somebody harmless. Me.”If a fake relationship with rockstar and infamous bad-boy Ian Conroe seems like the answer to all your problems, you know you’re in deep. When bills from a traumatic accident were threatening to crush my spirit, a chance run-in with the world’s … a chance run-in with the world’s hottest drummer felt like fate.
He offered me the chance to film his band’s secret show and even though I was risking my dead-end job, I couldn’t say no to such a great opportunity.
I couldn’t say no to Ian, either.
Overnight my footage became a viral sensation and I ended up on tour with the band. I thought hooking up with the wildly attractive, tattooed drummer would be a simple fling. I never imagined the trouble I’d get into with Ian in a different hotel every night.
Or the nightmare the paparazzi would cause by spreading false rumors about me and the band’s married lead singer.
I certainly never expected anyone to mail me a dead possum, stalk me online, or declare me public enemy number one.
After my accident I thought I could survive anything, but that was before this crazy/sexy rockstar came into my life. And my bed.
‘This One’s For You’ is a romantic comedy featuring an almost entirely reformed bad boy drummer with a taste for vegan food and redheads and a tattooed girl next door with sarcasm to spare on a twisted road to happily ever after. It stands alone with no cheating, cliffhangers, or nonsense.

He’s searching for normal.
Ian Conroe is the drummer for Axial Tilt. He crashed and burned and is searching for normal.
Vanessa Evans is his redhead dream girl. Working media at South by Southwest, they met again.
They met in a support group. Ian has plenty of collateral damage in his wake, but he’s trying to revamp his image and his life and be better.
Vanessa went through a traumatic event as well. Ian promises her a inside s scoop, footage of the band playing a secret show.
His ulterior motive – get the girl.
Through babysitting, bloody noses and interrupted games. Through drama and
Don and Thornton and Vanessa loosing her gig.
I really liked that they both had issues and worked to build a lasting relationship.
Recommend.
I’ve always loved Ian and I was so excited to read his and Vanessa’s story. You really should read the other books so you can really grasp Ian’s struggles with his addiction. These might be a fantastic romantic book but I loved Ian finally finding his peace. This is another keeper.

This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Taylor. I look forward to more!
It was a good read of two people who were good together but to have a healthy relationship they had to get through their personal challenges and battles.
It was a story full of hope that everybody deserves love and companionship, friendship and romance.

I was excited to read Vanessa and Ian’s story. I had only read the previous 2 books of this series, and while reading the previous books provides more detailed background on some recurring characters, its not essential to enjoy this book. Both are trying to make the best of careers and selves that are being reinvented and have gone through lots of trials and struggles. Ian and Vanessa are both healing, in different ways, and somehow they work. They have a great connection and understand that neither are perfect, but they are perfect together.
The author does a great job in outlining the struggles that they go through, and doesn’t sugarcoat them for the sake of a book. And even with this, these two people are able to work through their issues and figure out how they fit as a couple. I don’t know if this is the end of this series, but I do look forward to more from this author.

Ian is a member of the rock band Axial Tilt but after an accident where his sister’s boyfriend, who was also a member of the band, was killed, his life just spiraled out of control. Now he is in control of his life again and has another chance to fulfill his dream.
Vanessa was an EMT but after a bad accident, where her boyfriend was killed and she nearly lost her left arm, everything changed in her life. Now she is doing some video work.
Honestly, I don’t know what to think of this book. I like how they fight to get better and out of the problems they have. However, sometimes it’s like they go on and on thinking about the past. The pace sometimes is very slow. Maybe it was just me that I was not in the right mood. The best part is the end.
This was a fantastic and captivating story about second chances and taking risks. Ian is a recovering alcoholic who is once again asked to rejoin his band as drummer. Vanessa is a former EMT turned video director for the band. The connection and chemistry between the two is explosive. The story line and plot twists are well developed. Readers can physically feel the pain that Vanessa feels whenever she relives her past. This was a heartwarming and emotionally well written novel that readers will fall in love with. Add to that Ian a flawed hero who helps Vanessa not only heal but also gives her the encouragement she needs to discover herself. I loved this new book from Taylor Holloway.

A beautiful engaging second chance romance. This interesting storyline with interesting, well-developed characters that have chemistry. They are both damaged and struggle with their pasts as they balance each other and learn to move past their traumas. A enjoyable romance with a little drama and humor. I love reading stories that have rock stars in them, but this one was a first for me, that involves a drummer! I love drummers so much and could watch them all day!! So, when I heard this story involved a drummer, I knew I wanted to read it. This story did not disappoint at all! Great story, great characters!!
This One’s For You was a great story it was well written by Taylor Holloway, this was the first book by this author that I have read and was wonderfully surprised. This was a fun and enjoyable read, I found myself giggling at times and then became a bit misty eyed at times. I have to admit that I really fell for Ian from the very beginning, there was just something about this character that really captured my heart. I would love to tell you more but don’t want to give anything away so I just want to say I absolutely adored this story and highly recommend it.

The well written storyline and the interesting characters with chemistry that was off the charts HOT kept me totally glued to my kindle until the turn of the very last page!
Ian, a rock star internationally known as a bad boy with a history of drugs and alcohol, tried to clean up his act and show the world that he is better than his image. When he meets Victoria his world changes and he becomes more and more the responsible person he always wanted to be.
But living the life of a star is difficult, even more so, if you are living with a rock star and try to have a healthy relationship.
The book describes the changes and the growing – up that comes with realising what – and who – really is important in life.
Well-written from Ian’s and Vanessa’s perspective both, and entertaining, showing the typical ups and downs of show-biz and romance.

Ian is in a rock band and a current recovering alcoholic. Vanessa is a videographer and has been through some trauma herself. When they meet at a group counseling session, Ian is smitten. But they don’t see each other again till later. Ian gets Vanessa to record some video of his band doing a secret concert. These are two broken souls who fit together very well and seem to meet each other’s needs in a way no others could. Loved their interaction and Ian has come such a long way that you can’t help but root for him.

I have really enjoyed this series! They can be read as standalones, but the characters blend from one book to the next. As you meet new characters, they stay with you for a few books and even sometimes come back later as the evolving list of lead characters switches around. I’m glad Ian fond himself a different redhead than the one he had last time we saw him with a girl, in Ryan’s book. Ian used to kind of be the screw up, but he’s on the right track now. Its not easy getting sober, especially when the alcohol drowns the memories. Vanessa had been having her own recreate herself experience since we last saw her in Caroline’s book. I like that she had learned to live for herself and no longer the men in her life. These two make a great couple. Looking forward to what comes next. Ian Conroe is the drummer in a band who hit bottom with an alcohol addiction. He was able turn his life around and is trying to get back on his feet. Vanessa Evans is a redhead who had been in a terrible accident that killed her fiancé and put her through major physical trauma. The two of them met in a support group, went their separate ways, then reconnected when she is offered a chance to film the band in a special secret show that gave her a new beginning.
What is important in this book is a number of take-aways the reader will find that have great value. These two characters had been through their own kind of trauma and defeat, and yet they pulled out of the despair and turned their lives around when giving up may have seemed so much easier. The support of friends is invaluable, but it has to start with the heart and spirit of the person who has been knocked down. Everyone is worthy of love and it takes courage to pursue it despite how your life may have crashed around you. It takes courage to stand up and try again. Ian was an inspirational character because he cared for Vanessa and didn’t waver as he showed her she could take a chance on him. Will she? Can the two of them make it together?
This was a good story. If it lagged now and then in pacing, at least the message came through loud and clear and, for me, that was what I focused on. Grab your copy and see whether you agree – and whether the two of them can become an awesome combination!
Nice read!!

After meeting these two in separate books, I already feel like I know them a little bit. Their chemistry is immediate and their story is both romantic and tragic. I really enjoyed this book and the characters so much. Taylor’s writing makes me feel as if I’m right there in the story myself, feeling their emotions and praying for an HEA. I cannot wait to see what happens with the doctors.
