I was a self-appointed bachelor and happy to have the title. Everyone thought it was time for me to settle down and find a nice girl. Well, no thank you. This cowboy wanted to stay clear of relationships. I wanted the freedom that came with no strings. But what did I know? Nothing apparently.Everything changed when I looked into her green eyes; my world tilted when she smiled at me.What was this … me.
What was this feeling?
Whatever was happening had me losing my damn mind. I fumbled with my words. My body wasn’t my own. I wanted her … desperately.
Was I ready to give up my bachelor days, or was this Irish girl simply an itch I needed scratched?

Looking for a family saga series? This one is heating up!
Cowboys and Angles continues in This Love by Kelly Elliott and oohhh it was sooo freaking good!!!
5 iScream “I love these Cowboys” Books Cones!!! I can not get enough of this bunch and I had such a wonderful afternoon reading This Love. It was sooo swoony and full of push and pull!!!
This Love was about Cord the bad boy, the boy with the reputation of one night stands. And then there is the lovely Maebh.. a beautiful Ireland girl. She is soo innocent, soo naïve. I just fell in love with her though. She may be my fav now..lol And to top it off, you gotta love a momma that loves to play matchmaker haha. It definitely makes for a Rom Com kind of a read!! I laughed me ass off at times…(read the book and you will know why I said ME) haha The only problem is, Cord is worried he was going to hurt her, he knows his bad boy was and truthfully, Maebh has reservations as well. She keeps hearing about how Cord loves the ladies and only hangs around for one night. But these two have such a huge pull to each other. So they decided to take a weekend break. Slow things down. But…..this is where that momma loves to get involved..soooo
Now you need to one click on release day. I can’t tell you anything else..OMG each book I fall more and more for these Parker boys.
Ohh and one more thing..lol If you have been keeping up, you will get a glimpse of all of the family when reading This Love..it is one of my favorite things, when an author gives you snippets of the past characters and goodness This Love is full of the Parker family..freaking loved it!
Thank you for another great book Kelly!!!
Maebh and Cord had me falling in love with love. This Love was the beginning of the end for my romantic heart. Elliott explores the angst of new love and the sweetness of finding strength in allowing the vulnerabilities to shine through. The Playboy was brought to his knees by a beautiful heart, that opened his eyes to what his life was missing. True love. Love is not about perfection. Love is accepting a person for who they are, not who we want them to be. Through the heartache, humor and misunderstandings Kelly elliott continues to bring a smile to my face and my heart.
I absolutely loved This Love, the sixth book the Cowboys and Angels series, by Kelly Elliott! I could not put it down and I loved every page. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better. Who doesn’t love big families, cowboys and love stories? Kelly Elliott has once again proven that she is an incredible story teller. I love that she writes her stories in the person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. This Love is filled with broken hearts, secrets shared and discovered and heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. I truly love the lighter moments of This Love where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the ones that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. This Love is filled with such moments and so much more. This Love is a love at first sight story between Maebh O’Sullivan and Cord Parker. Maebh recently moved to Oak Springs and open a new Irish restaurant and bar. Aisling on Main Street. At first Cord is is annoyed with the competition for his bar, Cord’s Place. When Maebh accidentally bumps into Cord, he is smitten with her. He looks at the security video and realizes that she was looking for him. It was love at first sight for Cord and he cannot get Maebh out of his mind. Things heat up and Cord walks away, because he is so confused about his feelings for Maebh. Melanie, the Parker matriarch sends both Maebh and Cord to the family lake house separately for some much need rest. Things change for them at the lake house, and secrets are shared. An old friend of Cord’s comes to town and changes things between them. I love that Maebh befriends all the Parker women, Waylynn, Amelia, Paxton, Corina, and Harley and she shares her secret with them. I love how they always want Maebh to spell her name, it always made me laugh. Once again, my favorite part is Chloe and her goats and her reaction when Maebh tells her that Patches cannot attend their wedding. The elaborate lie that Maebh tells Chloe is priceless. I love Chloe’s reaction when she discovers Maebh and Cord in the bath tub at the lake house. I love the Oak Springs setting and the descriptions that Kelly uses makes me want to visit and hang out with the Parkers. Another favorite part is how Cord has always informed his other brothers that they are Smurfs, but doesn’t react kindly to him being “smurfed”. The funnies parts are Cord’s issues with Maebh’s Irish dialect. I loved Cord and Aunt Vi’s reaction to Maebh’s wealth, that she has not shared with anyone. Once again Kelly Elliott writes about strong, beautiful women and hot, sexy men, I love all her characters, especially when big families are included. Who doesn’t love reading a story about lovers that are willing to give love a second chance. Blind Love is filled with the bittersweet and poignant moments and the surprise plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Kelly Elliott’s stories. She truly did not disappoint with This Love. I love the cast of characters in This Love and I am looking forward to reading the last book in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? Reading This Love feels like a family reunion, because the reader gets to catch up with the other characters in the series. So happy that Maebh and Cord got their happily ever after, and that loving Maebh changed him. My favorite part was the proposal and the story behind Maebh’s engagement ring. I love Melanie’s scheming got them together. It was such a wonderful surprise ending! I love that Kelly Elliott incorporated both the cover photo and the book title into the story. I also love the Play List that Kelly Elliott includes in the all her books. This Love is another wonderfully written story in the Cowboys and Angels series and I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
This Love, just like Blind Love, tells the stories of two beautiful families and all they’ve done to keep their love alive.
Cord is confused, he has never felt this way and being scared leads to dumb decisions. Every time he speaks to Maebh he gets it all wrong, and then his family compounds the problem by sticking their noses farther than necessary (even with good intentions.)
Maebh knows how she feels about Cord, but is allowing her terror to interfere with getting to know him. She constantly runs or mixes up his comments when Cord means something entirely different.
I love this book from beginning to end. Beautiful scenery in the rolling Texas hills and Cork, Ireland. Loving, hilariously funny family times both in Oak Creek and the lake house. Sad scenes when Cord and Maebh make mistakes. Only one more book to go before this series is finished, and Trevor still doesn’t know what he’s doing!

Ever since reading the first book I really hoped that Cord got his own book and really glad he did. Cord is the ultimate playboy and ladies man. I’m really enjoyed his book.
Took me so long to read this book and finally, I did and OMG what a ride.
This series is something out of this word…HOT
Cowboys
Family
Babies
and a whole lot of swoon
Cord and Maebh’s love story is perfect!
Cord had a perfect bachelor life, didn’t want to commit, enjoy life do the way it is, but he is a family guy, love his family, and when feelings he starting have feelings for Maebhs he freaked the hell out.
Maebbh is this beautiful, strong woman, that don’t leave things behind and she doesn’t understand why this gorgeous cowboy doesn’t like her.
This Love is full a love, family and finding yourself and I love hot the scenes!
Kelly did a fantastic job with Cord story, and I’m anxious for the last book
All the stars.
Another unputdownable, heart-stopping read from Kelly Elliott!
This Love was amazing. As soon as I started reading the synopsis, I knew that this would become one of my fave books from this amazing author. I was right. This novel shows the power of true love, and what it can do for an individual when it is real, and emotional. Each character had their own life, and yet, were able to merge their life flawlessly with the one that they loved.
Kelly could write anything and I would fall head over heels in love. This novel is an absolute must read!
5/5 Stars!
This Love is the sixth book in the Cowboys and Angels series written by the amazing author Kelly Elliot. This Love is Cord Parker and Maebh story, a heartwarming and sweet romance. The plot is fun, sweet with an Irish good girl and a sexy cowboy Pub owner. Reading about Cord falling in love with Meabh was awesome and fun.
Oh, how I was dying to get this story! I knew Cord’s story was going to good, I just didn’t realize how good. There’s always been something about Cord that made me feel like his playboy side and never ending line of one night stands was going to end and that it was going to be for someone good. Maebh was just what Cord needed. She is the sweetest, innocent little thing from Ireland and you can’t help but just love her. Everything about her frustrates Cord and he’s terrified he’s going to hurt her due to his past, but watching them figure out how they work together was been amazing.
I love this series and I’m going to be so sad when it ends!
I have read every book in this series, and the author never ceases to amazing me. The storylines are fabulous and I absolutely adore the Parker family and their loved ones. The way they love one another and welcome others into their home is heartwarming. The author took me on a roller coaster ride, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Beautifully written with many many romantic, funny and swoony moments.
I cannot wait to read Trevor’s journey to love.
There are no words that can really Express this amazing story about Cord and Maebh story is. Cord had a reputation with the ladies but never did he think when the beautiful girl with the emerald green eyes ran into him his world would change. When you meet THE ONE what you thought was what you wanted is a thing of the pass. This book had me LMAO a few times. You feel the love these two share and they have hurdles to jump over but in the end they have the Perfect Love of all.
Oh My Gawd….this story melted my heart and had me falling head over heels for Cord and Maebh. This is the sixth book in the Cowboy & Angels series and one of my favorites! Cord is one of the two last remaining single Parker men and plans to stay that way……or so he thought! He loves women and can have his choice with that sexy as sin, panty-melting smile but what happens when one green eyed sexy Irish vixen comes to town….his world is turned upside down!!! Maebh is the sweet, sexy owner of the new restaurant in town and wants the one thing she knows she shouldn’t…..Cord Parker! This series is fun, sexy and sinfully addicting so don’t miss out!
Cord is a bachelor, he loves women, loves being free to have fun with them with zero attachment. Then he meets Maebh. Maebh is opening a restaurant not far from his bar and he is not pleased. Not to mention Maebh is a beauty that is unparalleled to the other women he has spent time with. However Maebh is not the type of girl to be a one night stand, she is the type of girl that screams commitment. Can Cord commit or will he let his own hangups stand in his way?
Was a bit more angstier than I thought it would be. Cord was kind of a jerk and sent so many mixed messages while Maebh was a bit of a contradiction. Overall good book but took awhile for the two characters to come together.
Looking for a funny romantic book, check out This Love!
As we have moved through the Parker siblings in this series it has been no secret that Cord very much enjoys the single life and the flexibility it has to offer. It doesn’t help that he is a looker and could have any woman he wants. So when he bumps into the beauty with the green eyes and he can’t get her out of his mind, he is beyond confused.
Maebh is starting out on a new adventure in Texas opening her restaurant and bar. Slowly finding friends in the Parker women. She know that her crush on the handsome bar owner is trouble with a capital T but it doesn’t make her want him any less. She is worried he will break her heart. His mixed messages is enough to send her running for the hills.
Is it possible Cord has found his one. Can she believe he will change his ways for her? Can they navigate and learn how to be in a relationship?
Although at times it felt a little too soon, it was an enjoyable story that kept me cheering them on. Can’t wait for Trevor’s story next.

There is just something about a Kelly Elliott book that literally makes you drop everything, so you can read it! And that is what happened to me today when This Love arrived on my Kindle, didn’t matter that I was half way through a book, I needed to read Cord and Maebh story!
If you have read any of the “Love” books before then you would know it is set around a truly awesome Texan Family called the Parker’s, and even though this book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend you read the other books in the series.
To put it bluntly, Cord is a bit of a manwhore! He is determined not to settle down, well that was until he met Maebh! And his whole world changed, he had the feeling that he didn’t have before and honestly didn’t know how to deal with them, but boy that doesn’t stop his meddling mother! And when he finally takes the plunge and enters into something more meaningful with Maebh, the crazy one night stand women start their antics and could cost him the one thing he loves more than anyone…Maebh!
This Love is truly a beautiful book, one that made laugh hard at the issues with the accent, as I’m British myself, with an Irish Godmother and aunt, so I fully understand! Now if you have read a Kelly Elliott series book before, you know that she gives not so subtle hints about what the next book is about (for which I’m eternally grateful!) and the one person that made me cry in frustration is TREVOR!!! But I’m not going to reveal what that numpty has done! You will have to read the book to find out!
This Love is an amazing book, that you will fall in love with from the beginning, which is why I give it 5 well-deserved stars!
Ahhh! This Love was nothing short of amazing. Both of the characters were so well written and I loved that Maebh Irish language transferred into the story. It really made me connect with the character. Cord was nothing short of amazing and might be one of my favorite Parker brothers. Their love story was great and I loved that neither were looking for each other but quickly found themselves needing one another. This story had a little heartache with lots of love and laughter! I can not wait for the last Parker story!
Kelly Elliott has made me fall in love again with This Love. Each book in this series has made me smile and shake my head, wondering how I could fall for another person in the Parker clan. I loved Cord and Maebh and their story had me sighing and swooning.
I liked Maebh. She wasn’t what I expecting and I liked getting to know her. She’s smart, strong and sweet. I loved her seeing openness with Cord and it was refreshing to see her be able to tell him what she wanted.
Now Cord…I wasn’t sure how Kelly Elliott was going to make me see him as someone who could be in a relationship. He’s a fun guy, don’t get me wrong, but he’s definitely been portrayed to be the player of the group. Watching him navigate his feelings for Maebh had me smiling and sighing. I absolutely loved seeing him fall for her.
This book isn’t a standalone, so for me that meant I got to revisit some of my other favorite characters from this series. I love getting to see what other characters are up to and it didn’t detract from Cord and Maebh’s story in the least to me. I thought the pace of this book moved pretty well.
If you haven’t read any of the other books in this series go start now so you can fully enjoy this book. I know I did enjoy it and I would definitely recommend it.
5 “Me Heart” Stars
This Love is the sixth book in Elliott’s Cowboys and Angels series, I believe has become my new favorite. I always love when the quintessential badboy falls in love and man, oh man, does Cord Parker fall HARD!
This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I have enjoyed every single one of them so far, but these two have topped the list. Cord has always been the rebel badboy in the family. The one who was determined not to work on the ranch, but had dreams of opening up his own bar. He has done that and succeeded. Now that a new pub of sorts is going in down the block, he’s not sure what to think and is definitely curious about the new owner, Maebh O’Sullivan. Maebh is the sweet Irish girl that at one touch steals the breath from Cord and seals his fate. The push/pull between these two is fantastic. They both have their reservations, but are determined to find out where these feelings take them.
I can’t say enough great things about this one. It’s sweet and swoony, sexy and steamy, and full of all the laugh out loud moments that only the Parker family can bring. Oh, and one meddling momma. I adore Melanie Parker and all her meddling ways. We get a glimpse into the upcoming seventh and final (cries) book with Trevor and Scarlett. I can’t wait for their story, but I will be so sad this series is ending. You need to read the other books in the series first before starting this one, as they are not standalones. They all intertwine and their stories continue. #Oneclick this series today and fall in love with the Parker family.
