From the best selling series, Something So comes the spin-off Series This is…ZoeWhen you grow up surrounded by hockey players you know one thing for sure, I was never going to settle down with one.Heck, I didn’t even know what icing was. I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder, becoming one of the most successful realtors in New York City.I wasn’t interested in dating or anything that got … dating or anything that got in my way.
First, he was my client and then he became my friend.
Viktor
My parents told me I skated before I walked.
When I was eighteen I was drafted into the N.H.L third overall, playing in Los Angeles—the city of dreams.
What more could I ask for? I played hard, but eventually, I partied even harder.
Five years later I was traded a week after I entered rehab.
There was no time for anything except my health and making sure I’d come out on top. I had to be better.
There wasn’t another option.
One of the rules of recovery was ‘don’t fall in love’ and I made it a top priority. She was off limits in every single way.
Until it was too late
One night, one decision, one act can derail everything.
When push comes to shove, I’m only certain that, This is Wild.

This book gets shelved in top 2019 books for me. It is so powerful and real. Viktor is so well written. His journey from rehab to recovery- amazing. Zoe- she’s part of this crazy family based in love. Her relationship with Zara is beautiful.
Watching Zoe and Viktor grow separately and together is book perfection. It’s not rushed, real things happen, I could not put this book down. It flowed so well as Natasha Madison makes us fall in love with not just her story but these character.
Scenes with Viktor and Jeffrey were so touching. Who doesn’t want Parker and Cooper as parents- setting real expectations for their kids and just loving them! Family and love and support and understanding all parts of those we love. And wanting to love and not disappoint those in our lives, admitting we made mistakes and growing from them.
I didn’t want this book to end. Viktor and Zoe are true love!! Thank you Natasha Madison for another amazing book! Read it now!!
Another absolutely fabulous book by Natasha Madison. I love the characters. Made me cry. Love a hockey romance. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Every time I read a new book in this series I think, Natasha can’t top the last one there’s no way she can make me love someone more than the last one and she wouldn’t be cruel enough to make me cry again right? Wrong.
Welcome to a very anticipated story about Zoe and Viktor, about addiction, recovery, love, family lets not forget hockey.
From the first page Natasha pulls us into a reality that happens everyday. I cried, I laughed and I prayed.
“Now, my heart beats normally . In this crazy, wild life, I found my love.”
Go into this with your eyes wide open and some tissues because a guarantee you will need them
WOW!!! where do I begin? My mind has been blown with the sheer epic-ness of this phenomenal book!!!
This Is Wild is the second book in the This Is series and follows Viktor and Zoe’s story, and what a story it is!
After Viktors life crumbles down around him, albeit self inflicted, he’s forced to fix things by heading to rehab. What he doesn’t count on is being drafted the second he walks into the joint. But Matthew Grant sees potential in him, and having been in a similar situation himself before, gives him a chance that sees him moving from the west coast to New York.
Enter Zoe. When her big brother tells her he’s signed a new player whose going to need a good realtor, the best in town, Zoe agrees to help him, she is after all the most sought after realtor right now! Zoe has a rule, no dating Hockey players. But all of that comes into question when she meets Viktor.
What starts off as a simple client – realtor relationship, soon turns into friendship that comes to mean a lot to both of them. But with Viktor battling with his demons and Zoe’s strict rule, will these two look past the baggage to see what’s right in front of them? Or will crash at the first buzzer?
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!! I don’t think there are any words that really do this book the justice it most definitely deserves! Absolutely hooked from the minute I started reading, completely unable to put it down, I was captivated by the rawness, the honesty and the emotional rollercoaster ride I went on as I read each chapter.
Natasha takes a very difficult, delicate and harsh reality and describes the whole journey effortlessly. Having dealt with such an issue within my family, I can honestly say she approached it with honesty and grace and you could literally FEEL everything both Viktor and Zoe were experiencing and going through.
Viktor is a broken man, he’s ashamed of his past and doesn’t want Zoe to judge him. What he’s not prepared for is the openness, trust and faith she has in him. What developed between them is both breathtakingly beautiful and utterly heartbreaking. I laughed, I cried, I shouted at my kindle relentlessly, but it was all worth it 100%!
For me, Natasha just leaped ahead of the game with this book. I’ve always been a fan of her words, but she took her work to a completely new level and it’s hands down her best book yet!!!
I cannot recommend this book enough, it’s my favourite book of the year, and I can’t wait for you to fall in love with Viktor!
TEN ENORMOUS STARS!
But for Amazon purposes, it’s a big 5/5!
Absolutely loved Viktor and Zoe.
So this book does not shy away from the struggles of addiction. And Viktor’s staunch resolution to become whole before pursuing Zoe will drive you insane.
“Tomorrow is not something you can change, but today, today is the day to change what you would have done differently yesterday.”
This book had it all – sweetness, struggle, heartstopping moments, hockey, love, romance, heat, the bonds of family and everything in between. This can be read as a stand alone, but I will be going back to the Something So series to catch up for sure!
And the end of the book is quite the treat for many reasons.
This series just keeps getting better. Grab it today!
I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.
Real estate agent Zoe Stone doesn’t date clients or hockey players. Even though she has been surrounded by hockey her entire life, Zoe doesn’t even watch the sport. She’s too busy making a name for herself as one of the top real estate agents in the city. After meeting her newest client, Viktor Petrov, however, she may need to re-evaluate. Friends first, it’s way too easy to fall for the hotter than sin hockey player.
Given a second chance after finishing drug rehab, Vicktor Petrov finds himself a recovering addict in a new city and, on a new team. He can’t give in to the ghosts from his past and needs to do everything he can to take advantage of his new life one day at a time. He’s completely committed to his recovery and following all the rules. He didn’t mean to fall in love or start a relationship . . . especially with the sister of his general manager. But, now that he has, he needs to figure out what to do about it.
Just when their relationship seems to be taking off, one bad decision threatens to topple everything Viktor and Zoe had been working towards. Can Viktor find a way to both prove to Zoe he is the man she needs him to be? And, even more importantly, can he find a way to believe it himself?
This was my first Natasha Madison book, and I can honestly say I was blown away! I love hockey romance and thought his would be a fun and flirty story, which it was, but it was so much more! I was astounded by the depth of both the characters and the plot and couldn’t put the book down.
I adored Zoe. She’s an absolute riot She knows herself and what she wants. She loves those she cares about deeply and will do anything for them. Once she decides to be friends with Viktor, she is all in and willing to support him and his recovery in every way she can, always without judgement. But, when things go so very wrong, it causes utter devastation for her because of the depth of her feelings.
I also loved Viktor and the daily struggles he faced. Natasha Madison did an amazing job of showing his recovery and just how hard every day can be. It felt so real. He’s a very complex character and I loved watching him open up to his new team, his sponsor, Zoe and even himself. He’s so much more than he thinks of himself and I loved watching him finally start to realize that.
This is Wild was truly an amazing and heartfelt read. It’s an amazing friendship turned romance. Very emotional and uplifting. 5 stars!
Natasha Madison gave us light and fun with This is Crazy and I loved it. Now in book two of the series, This Is Wild, she is giving us an emotional-filled story with all the feels in this slow burning romance and I loved every second of it! Though each book can technically be read as a stand-alone, they are best read in order as the stories are very interconnected and are so worth the read!
Zoe is Zara’s twin, from book 1, and has been surrounded by hockey players all her life. She loves the men in her family that play hockey and she supports them wholeheartedly, even if she does not get the game at all. But she also knows they are not for her. Victor was on the fast track to success when his life imploded. Hockey has always been a part of who he is and yet when he is on top of his world, his partying took a dark turn. Five years later he is forced into rehab and is now in recovery. He needs to make this his priority to get back in the game he loves and to ensure he does not fail. But when Zoe and Viktor meet, their chemistry is undeniable, even if they try to deny at every turn.
On a side note, I have to say I am completely in love with the Grant/Stone family. I want to adopt them and make them mine. I love their interactions, friendly and teasing banter and the love they all clearly share for one another. This is Wild by Natasha Madison is an emotional story that will touch you heart, even if it breaks it at times. I loved Zoe and Viktor and seeing them do what they thought was best, even when they wanted more. They had a great support system and their journey, though not easy, was engaging from start to finish.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
This is Wild is an emotional journey, because addiction isn’t an easy subject to talk about, and Natasha Madison did it well. Zoe and Viktor’s story is beautifully written. The story is a roller coaster of emotions. I love Zoe. She’s a beautiful character. Viktor, a hockey player, is strong, determined, and handsome. I love the ending. I received a free copy of this book and I have voluntarily left this review.
How can anyone come up with the words to rate this book and do it justice? This author continues to blow me away with every new book.
Zoe was a brilliant beautiful head strong woman. If she’s in your corner no one will cross you and get away with it. She was a cheer leader, friend, and confidant that anyone would be lucky to have. Viktor was lucky enough to be that man she put her confidence and faith in. One day at a time should be everyone’s motto.
Sorry people but I have claimed Zoe as my own personal BFF this time!!
Viktor will make you cry and also want to hold him up and cheer him on. I literally felt his pain through this authors words!! Get ready for the best read of the year!!
In saying all that you get the whole gang which is icing on the cake !
From the opening pages of This Is Wild (Book 2 in the ‘This Is’ series) by Natasha Madison, I knew I was in for a very different story than I was expecting. It brings everything to the table and doesn’t hold back. It’s moving, emotional, and hard-hitting. It’s also sexy and fun.
Viktor Petrov is a recovering addict, he doesn’t sugar-coat this fact, and neither does Natasha. In fact, it plays a very major role in the entire story. We get to see the world through his pained and sorrowful eyes. His guilt and shame, his desire to be a better man. To be clean. And nothing makes that wish more desperate or more despairing than when he meets Zoe. He struggles with the feelings she evokes in him. He’s barely three months out of rehab and he knows the rules about hooking up, dating and having a relationship.
Zoe is as instantly attracted to Viktor. But, she doesn’t date hockey players or clients and as it turns out, he’s both.
But, fight as they do, the chemistry between them only grows thicker as they spend more time in each others company, it’s a slow, slow-burning battle. It let us see the dark truth behind the veil of addiction. The fear, the self-recrimination. But, it also showed how love can shine a light into that blackness. How it can bring life from bleakness and soothe those jagged edges of a lost soul.
Zoe and Viktor’s story wasn’t without its challenges, breakups and disappointments. It was real, brutal, it hurt. It wrecked me in the best way possible. I cried, but I also laughed at some of the less gritty moments. Zoe and Zara as twins make an awesome sisterhood. And in their friends and sisters and brothers and is was a smorgasbord of fun. I loved how the story finished but it was a true rollercoaster of feels to get there.
I want to start by saying that Natasha Madison is an amazing author and equally as amazing in person. Her stories are addicting and entertaining. But this story here is by far her best one yet. She went above and beyond her already amazing writing. This 6 star story made me feel for the characters and that’s what I look for in my stories.
I don’t want to spoil anything but let’s just say I’d deals with addiction and the struggle that happens day to day.
I loved Victor so much and felt for him. His struggles were real and made me go through a whirlwind of emotions. But above all I was happy he had a Zoe in his life. She’s was a very funny and entertaining character. In order to make it an amazing story for me, are the characters. If I connect with them then I’m hooked. In this case the storyline was beautifully executed to perfection. This is an heartfelt and heartwarming story that had me reading non stop. A solid page turner and very difficult to put down once I started. Bottomline this is a must read.
This is the second book in the This Is series. But rest assured it can be read as a standalone. But for better enjoyment, read This is Crazy first. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
This book is so beautiful l. A book about overcoming addiction and about the best support system you could have. A book about love and self love. A book about struggling every day to become a better person. A beautiful book.
Zoe has seen every one of her family members fall in love. Most recently her twin sister Zara.
Zoe is the hard worker of the family. She’s a real estate agent and she loves her family. She’s smart and funny and my new favorite heroine of Natasha Madison.
Viktor..sigh..such a broken character but how could you not fall in love with him?
He’s an drug addict who just completed his rehab and got a new chance with the Stingers.
This story was so beautiful. Going in to it I didn’t know what to expect and it was everything I didn’t know i needed to read.
Zoe and Viktor’s book is so amazing. Everything is so well written. Viktor’s struggle with his addiction. His 12 step program and the support he got from his “new family” everything was just beautiful.
STARS!!
This book is hands down one of the best books of 2019. It is different, it is unique, it is emotional, it is funny, it is steamy, it gives you hope to never give up.
Viktor is getting a second chance at his hockey career and at his life. Fresh out of rehab and newly drafted he moves to a new city. His focus is on his recovery and hockey. He doesn’t need a woman to mess with that, but there is one that he can’t seem to avoid. One that is in his life in every single aspect. Zoe is focused on her real estate career. She doesn’t date, especially hockey players. But when Viktor comes to town she can’t seem to stay away. She is drawn to him and wants to be there for him.
I LOVED Viktor and Zoe’s relationship and their chemistry. There was an instant connection between the two of them, but they both knew it wouldn’t be right for them to actually date, however, there was nothing preventing them from being friends with each other and being supportive of one another.
Not only did I majorly love Viktor and Zoe’s relationship, but really the relationship and bond between every single character in this book is truly amazing. I love how supportive the entire family was of Viktor and how much they were there for him when it came to staying on the right track with his addiction and his recovery. The relationship between Zoe and Zara/Evan is so different and unique and I love it so much.
This is Wild is a MUST READ! Seriously one of the best books of the year. I would highly recommend this to every single person I know!
Wow!!! I absolutely just loved this book!! It was so deep and meaningful and touched on such a serious and sensitive subject. But it showed how strength and love and support can sustain and help anyone through anything. And that sometimes your family that you surround yourself with for all the support you need doesn’t have to be blood. It’s the people you choose to be your family. And that’s what this book is all about. And that just when you least expect it the person you’re supposed to spend the rest of your life with comes into your life. And those moments, the tiny moments are the ones you need to cherish the most. I didn’t want this book to end and I hope there is more in this series and we can see more of all these characters. Because I have fallen in love with each and every single one of them. I’m telling you that I absolutely love Natasha and her books and would highly recommend this and any of her books!!! – By Tina
5 Putting All the Pieces Together Again Stars!!!
I’m just not sure where to begin with how AMAZING, PHENOMENAL AND FABULOUS this book was!!!! Zoe and Viktor are not supposed to be together. He’s getting a second chance thanks to Matthew and he doesn’t want to mess that up with everything he has. But then he meets Zoe and while they both try to deny it, there’s a zing between them!
There’s so much at stake in Viktor’s life not only playing hockey but becoming the man he’s supposed to be and trust me when I tell you, he’s had a rough road beginning when he was a little boy. While I don’t think it could or should be used as an excuse for his actions as an adult, it definitely explains so many of his actions. When it all comes to a head and he’s given an ultimatum, that’s when his life changes and he enters the world of the New York Stingers hockey.
We all know and love Zoe and the fact that she’s drawn to a man that is truly broken challenges her in ways she wasn’t expecting but their budding friendship brought so many smiles to my face. She really gives him a run for his money and I loved this about her. As much pressure as she puts on herself to succeed in her professional career it was a joy seeing her heart change even if they were both fighting it.
There’s a plan for first year recovering addicts and falling in love is definitely not in that plan. But sometimes plans change and these two together so right and perfect. There’s a slow burn in this book that absolutely positively appropriate for this book. Viktor is a man that has demons that will follow him his entire life and building his relationship with Zoe and play championship hockey are complete opposites but go together like PB&J!
We see all our favorites in this book because let’s face it, the Stone family is a force to be reckoned with and they’re in each other’s lives welcome or not. There’s the expected humor between all of them especially Matthew and Max, aka M&M which had me snort laughing. We also again see the bond that Zoe and Zara have and it’s truly a thing of beauty when these girls are together. And Viktor just isn’t sure what to do with himself sometimes.
There’s so much love, angst, anguish, emotional upheavals, humor, fabulous hockey and everything in between in this book. Ms. Madison has truly outdone herself with this one. Taking on an issue like addiction can be a difficult task, but, not only has she shown us the ugly side of it, but also the glorious beauty when an addict recovers and lives the life they’re truly meant to have. This book will take you on a Wild Ride so sit back, buckle in, grab your tissues and just go with it. When it’s all said and done, you’ll be so happy you took the leap with this book and this author!!

I won’t say I am surprised at how much I adored this book, I will just say it was as amazing as I imagine it would be! Viktor is the perfect broken hero and Zoe is the perfect strong willed woman to stand by his side. The party these two must walk is full of laughter, pain, struggle and most of all family. Viktor learns what it means to truly have a family, even if it is one you choose, and Zoe learns just how much family will be there when you need them most. His is a beautiful story full of love, determination and redemption. I absolutely enjoyed every page and probably shed a few tears along the way.

So, So Good!!!
You know when you pick up a book, get into the story really fast and you don’t even notice it’s been hours since you start it and you can’t put it down?!
THIS IS WILD is one of those books!
I loved everything about this story. I love the characters so much, I want to be part of that family.
Viktor’s journey broke my heart. The subject in itself is so painful as well as the struggle to stay clean and keep it that way for the rest of your life.
But he’s strong, so strong and Zoe is really the perfect woman for him.
I loved how they both fell in love and how they thought it was a mistake… they were both so wrong!
I recommend this book to everyone that’s not afraid to have their heart broken and get it put it back together.

I don’t think my heart will ever be the same after reading This Is Wild (This Is#2). Natasha Madison outdid herself with this book as it’s absolutely outstanding and to date, the best book she’s ever written. Viktor and Zoe seriously own my heart and soul. This Is Wild is a compelling, emotional and heart gripping story about the struggles of addiction and the ability to begin a new life.
Zoe (Zara’s twin sister from This Is Crazy) is on top of the world. She has a successful career as a realtor and a wonderful, supportive and sometimes crazy but loving family. Viktor was on top of the world until his career as a hockey player took a downward spiral as a result of his drug addiction. Matthew, Zoe’s brother and manager of the New York Stingers hockey team, takes a chance on Viktor and drafts him as new team member. What starts out as a friendship between them, soon develops into so much more. Viktor and Zoe are aware that it wouldn’t be the best idea to begin a relationship however, the heart wants what the heart wants. And ultimately, they are powerless to stop their undeniable feelings and passion for each other.
Viktor and Zoe’s journey is not an easy one by any means. It’s raw, bold and as much as I cried, it was well worth it. Both of them embodied courage and unbelievable strength with huge hearts and beautiful souls who truly deserved all the happiness that life has to offer. Ms. Madison delivered a thought provoking romance with a storyline that flowed effortlessly and the realistic slow burn romance was everything. The sweet and tender moments between Viktor and Zoe made my heart melt and their beautiful story gave me so much more than I anticipated. This Is Wild is epic and I highly recommend reading this five star plus book.
I have no words – after finishing this book I feel like I’ve ran a thousand miles. I feel exhausted in the best way possible.
Am not sure who I love more – Victor or Zoe. The strength he had to pull himself out of the dark was immense that I feel even he did see or feel it. The way she help him showed her strength as well. It was breaking my heart to see his struggles and doing everything he could so he would feel worthy of her. I loved her for supporting him and just been there. I love this group of people that is filled with friendships, family ties and most off all love that we all want to have in our lives.
This series is definitely become one of my favorites and I can’t wait to read the next one…bring on Mark and Vivienne!
