Wow! Natasha Madison does it again! I know we have all been waiting for Vivienne’s story forever and I can promise you it was sooooooooooo worth the wait! PM is one of the swoon worthiest heroes I have ever read! Another FIVE STAR read for sure!
I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Mrs Madison. I’ve been a fan of her for a long time. But I confess..I was afraid of Vivienne. And that was me being judgmental. THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING!!
My favorite by Natasha Madison. I’ve had so many emotions when reading this book. I’ve cried..laughed (a lot) and I’ve swooned. The chemistry between Vivienne and Mark was so freaking hot.
And the banter between them was awesome. They were perfect for each other.
Loved Vivienne. Her voice, her style, her sarcasm and her loyalty.
She is who she is and makes no apologies for that. I love that about her.
She’s sworn of relationships and one night stands is all she does, but one night with Mark and everything changed.
Markos..he was the opposite of Vivienne and perfect for her. He is a very private person. That’s why his nickname is Private Mark (PM). He was perfect!! He’s now one of my new book boyfriend. The presents and the romantic dates..swoon…
Mark knew what he wanted, and he wanted Vivienne. For two years he wanted Vivienne before he finally got a date with her.
And the chemistry and the sexy time between them…Holly Hotness!!!
It was so awesome to see Vivienne fall in love and she so deserved it.
STARS!!
Vivienne and Mark, they had a spark from the start, but Vivienne avoids those, so it took two years, and a chance meeting, to get this party started! Once it did start though, it was electric, consuming, and off the metre sexy, with some unbelievable sweetness on both their parts. They had fun, were fun, and under everyone’s radar. They felt deep, it felt right, and it made them happy. Then it happened, the label. Then it happened, the truth. Then it happened, the hurt. Life doesn’t just happen, it is about choices you make, so they both made some choices, and they were hard for them, but they did it. Then they could have those happy moments, forever
This romantic comedy had some great funny moments, mostly thanks to Vivienne, and her bestie Kerrie. The story had some truly romantic moments, thanks to Mark and his dedication to Vivienne, and his family. This happily ever after in the making had some scorching hot times, thanks entirely to Mark and Vivienne, and the sparks that they give off whenever the other is near!
Excellent book and series!
5 STARS
This is Love is the 3rd book in the This Is Series by Natasha Madison. It has been on my TBR ever since it released and I’ve been dying to make time to read it. I am SO glad I finally did. Natasha’s writes hockey romance like no other. So much heart, passion and emotion and I am completely ruined after reading Vivienne and Mark’s story. We were first introduced to Vivienne in The Something So Series as she is Carrie’s best friend. She is hilarious, witty, sassy, sarcastic and so very gorgeous. She has a strong heart and mind. She has absolutely no filter and keeps Mark on his toes at all times! I was NOT ready for Mark. He blew me away. Such a BEAUTIFUL man! We knew nothing about him from previously books. He was a mystery. He keeps his private life to himself but is an incredibly talented hockey player. He is of greek nationality and is super close with his family. When he and Vivienne connect there is so much passion and chemistry between these two! He has a dirty mouth and is 100 percent commanding and bossy in and out of the bedroom. This was so attractive to me. The journey these two go through is unlike any other in the series and I devoured it in one sitting. I CANNOT wait for This is Forever next which is Justin’s story!
I’m in love
Hockey romance is my downfall and I am absolutely in love with this series. I was waiting to see how Vivianne was going to be tamed and Mark was the perfect guy to do it. Patient and a sexy alpha. The perfect combination.
Ahh!! I was so excited to get Vivienne’s story!! She has been a hoot in the first two books (don’t worry, you won’t be lost if you haven’t read them yet). This Is Love was the 3rd book in Natasha’s This Is series. It was angsty, made me laugh out loud, and sexy as hell!!
Vivienne didn’t get attached, she had been burned before and vowed for it to never happen again. But when one night turned into many, was she breaking her rule? She needed to get out, and fast.
Mark kept to himself, but he had been watching Vivienne. When he was finally able to get her to go on a date, he didn’t want to let go. But when he found out she may not have been as invested in the relationship, he made it his mission to change her mind.
This series has been so fun!! They keep getting better. Mark and Vivienne were completely different from one another but they fit together perfectly! It was fun watching Vivienne fall hard! And Mark, he was so sweet! Loved them!
We have known Vivienne since the 2nd book of the Something So series. The girl who refuses to fall in love. Yet here she has met her match In Mark. She puts up a good fight but in the end love wins. I really do love this series and the Something So series and I have loved watching all these characters grow and fall in love and the family get larger. I am excited to read the last book when it comes out.
Natasha Madison is one of my new go to authors!
What can I say about Natasha Madison’s This is Love? How about this couple was EVERYTHING!
Vivienne was so burned by her past that she is determined to never fall in love and instead lives for the moment, enjoying one night stands and no strings attached. Mark knows what he wants, however, and that’s Vivienne. And, he’s in it for the long haul to prove to her she can trust and fall in love with the right man . . . him!
Their attraction is so freaking hot it’s insane and soon Mark has Vivienne breaking all her rules. But, when she balks at a real relationship with commitment, he lets her know that is what he needs, leaving the ball in her quart to decide if she wants nothing more than platonic friendship or everything he has to offer her.
This couple was really to die for. They are hot and sexy and so ridiculously cute (just wait till you meet Elsa he fish) that they are one of my all time favorite couples. I also loved how different they were from one another. Mark is very private, patient and extremely romantic. Vivienne is crazy, wild and the life of the party. But, they fit one another so very well, balancing each other out.
Readers will be all in, just like Mark is, and cheering for Vivienne to break her rules for good . . . as this couple is simply perfection. 5 stars!
3.5*
Cute RomCom with a swoon worthy big hearted hero.
Vivienne finally falls in love with a hockey player no less! You meet and fall in love with Vivienne’s quick-wit and sarcastic humor in Matthew and Karrie’s story and then you continue to get glimpses throughout the rest of the series and into this one. What you don’t expect is her back story of why she never did anything from a one night stand. Mark changed everything though and she didn’t even realize it was happening. Mark was entranced with her from the beginning and never let up until she believed in love again. This is such a good series and I cannot wait until Justin’s story is released!
Passionate steamy moments to curl the toes, heartfelt words to melt the heart, This is Love comes brimming with just the right amounts of everything needed for a perfect literary escape! From beginning to end this one had me at it’s mercy, the words were captivating and emotive, and the characters were impossible not to become obsessed with!! This was by far one the best first reads that I have settled down with in a while, I loved every single second I spent devouring it!! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it’s bound to leave you thoroughly satisfied, and willing to come back for more!
What a fantastic read. This series just keeps getting better and better with each book. Here I know Viktor was my favorite but now it looks like Marko is taking his place.
Mark aka PM (Private Mark) is the perfect match for Vivienne. He’s exactly what she needed to see that real love exist and she is capable of having it in her life. Love that he puts his family first and focus on the game. He doesn’t like to put his private life out there hint the name Private Mark.
These two definitely complement each other and their story was one of the best. The humor and the love is one of the reason Natasha is one of my favorite authors.
Definitely can’t wait for Justin’s book coming in January 2020!
Well done Natasha! You have another hit on your hands.
I’ve loved Vivienne in every book shes been in. Her attitude, her confidence, her humour. And her story did not disappoint. The prologue explained a lot about why Vivienne is the way she is and seeing her falling for Mark was undeniably heartwarming.
We finally got Vivienne’s story and what a story it was!! 🙂 Throughout the other series, we’ve seen her and how she has no filter at all which is hilarious. She doesn’t believe in love and just likes to have fun. All this we find out is because of what happened to her years ago. She puts her guard up and vows never to fall in love again….Will Mark be the game changer?
Mark…oh Private Mark..oh how I loved him. When he and Vivienne meet, watch out! Talk about fireworks. It was supposed to be only one night but neither of them was prepared for what would happen. I love how Mark is and how he keeps to himself unlike he team mates who are all in the spotlight. He is as well, but likes to keep it simple.
Seeing the rest of the crew from the previous books was icing on the cake. The love they all have for each other made me so happy. Enjoy Mark and Vivienne as much as I did. They were everything <3 One of my top reads for 2019 without a doubt!
Although “This is Love” is part of the “This is” series, this installment is also an offshoot of the “Something So” series and we get all those gorgeous ex-bad boys of hockey, now devoted husbands and/or fathers, as second characters in this story. Their beautiful wives are Vivienne’s girlfriends. Vivienne is the vivacious and uninhibited single friend who keeps them all in stitches, with her stories about her wild social sexy life. But behind that happy face is a sad tale.
Ten years ago, when Vivianne was 21 y/o, she fell hard for a man. When she discovered he was lying to her and living a double life, she broke up with him, and swore never to fall in love again. Now she only hooks up once with a man, never in her apartment, and leaves them behind with no regrets and no commitments. Until Markus happens in her life…
Mark is the goalie in the New York Stingers hockey team, where best friends Mathew and Max are the managers. For a long time, Mark has wanted Vivienne but she keeps away until one fated day they bump into each other in the street. She was in a dry period of her life, no candidates for sexy times, so she’s convinced easily to go with Mark for dinner which turned into more. Their flirting game turns into one day, then two, and before you know it, they are together! It’s lovely to see how their relation evolves and then disappointing when it tanks because one wanted more, the other wanted none. This was a trip of discovery and rebirth for Vivienne, a time to slay old dragons and welcome a new life.
I loved both characters; Vivianne was not only beautiful but generous and vivacious and kind. No wonder her besties and their husbands love her and their kids call her Tante Vivi. She only had one issue and that is she was plain scared of falling in love, of giving her heart. She ran scared whenever there was a possibility and she must have recognized this in Mark because she’s been evading him for two years. Then he gave her a fish called Elsa and it was like a link between them. This was a laughable detail when they consult on the fish, share taking care of Elsa, remind each other to feed the fish and ask about it. I loved this part of the story! I also loved Mark’s devotion, his relentless pursuit of the woman he loved, his constant shows of how much he cared, and his thoughtfulness.
My only criticism about this story is that when Mark and Vivienne start, it felt like a sex marathon. There was so much time and attention dedicated to the sexcapadades that it felt more like a This is Sex than a This is Love story. It was a sexaggeration! I got the feeling they fell in love because they liked the sex, although later on you realize that there’s so much more to them than their physical relation, they had a true caring for each other. There was also a feeling of family and friends and funny times that made it a great read, a real page-turner. In the end, I loved it!
Wow this book so hot, steamy, wild, captivating. When our girl Vivienne doesn’t believe in that thing called love swoonworthy mark swipes in and tries to capture her heart but does he? Another incredible book!
I truly was unsure how I was going to feel about Vivienne but I ended up LOVING her. Vivienne and Mark on the outside you just would not have meshed up but their stories were just PERFECT. Natasha is such a great author and the way she weaves a story is just perfection. Loved this book
