She has everything money can buy, but her bodyguard is all she wants—and together they’re exactly what each other needs in this heart-racing romance by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of Call Her Mine.Actress Remi Divine is sick of bodyguards, sick of stalkers, and sick of feeling like she is always under a microscope. I have been a fan of Melissa Foster’s since before she started the Love In Bloom series. This book is my favorite so far. I know, I know, I say that about many of her books but this one takes two characters who, of course, are not looking for love and forces them to open their heavily protected hearts and take a chance on each other. Remi is still struggling with losing her parents in a car accident when she was young, and Mason has hardened himself after living a very difficult life. These two do not belong together but they make total sense together.
Remi and Mason have a unique relationship since they are employees, employers. They are thrown together in a matter of life and death and in a world that criticizes their every move. Yet, they understand each other better than those that have known them much longer. They see the reasoning behind the actions and reactions, they understand what each other needs beyond just the quick glance, and they open themselves up to helping, loving, and supporting each other to find that happiness. There are no secrets between them and they accept each other just as they are.
When I pick up a book by Melissa Foster, I know that I will get the hot, alpha male and the strong-willed, self-assured female but I also know that I will get a story that has amazing friendships and wonderful families. The secondary characters are just as marvelous as the main characters. Their relationships are just as important and the way they love each other heartwarming. I look forward to these characters since they always play important roles in the lives of the main characters. And I always hope that they will get to tell their own stories in future books in the series.
I always say this but these books are like a cuddle up sweater on a cold day. And every story feels more like catching up with old friends as opposed to a new story except that I get so much more of each of their individual stories.
Remi was someone I didn’t think I would ever be able to relate to. Not that she was a diva, just that her life was a whole other world to mine. And I can honestly say, fame is something I would never want. But Remi was such a sweetheart and was so normal I forgot she was America’s Sweetheart. Despite the stalker.
Mason I really don’t remember from any previous books but with my goldfish memory that doesn’t mean much. From the beginning I loved him. He was so caring and protective of Remi without being overbearing or condescending. He just quietly made sure she was safe and cared for and it was impossible not to fall for him.
Together their chemistry was all kinds of hot but they were also just so beautiful. And I absolutely adored the story going on outside of their relationship. The whole book was just so much of what I love about these series.
THIS IS LOVE is the second instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult HARMONY POINTE erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s Sugar Lake series . This is former Special Forces soldier and security specialist Mason Swift, and actress Remi Divine’s storyline. THIS IS LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Mason and Remi) THIS IS LOVE focuses on the protection of actress Remi Divine. Remi Divine has a stalker whose threats are getting more dangerous and personal. While filming in Harmony Pointe, New York, Remi is assigned security that she continuously refuses to obey or accept. Enter former Special Forces soldier and security specialist Mason Swift, the man with whom Remi will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Remi and Mason, and the potential fall-out as the stalker appears to be closer than anyone could have imagined.
Remi’s brother Aiden raised his younger sister since the accident that claimed the life of their parents but Aiden wasn’t taking any chances with his sister’s safety and called in a favor from Ben Dalton, and his business partner Mason Swift. Remi Divine wanted nothing to do with bodyguards or protection but our heroine would soon discover that life isn’t all roses and puppies especially when her crazed fans begin to get too close. Mason Swift knows to fall for his client could end his career in personal security but when his men are unable to contain the likes of Remi Divine, Mason steps up to take over Remi’s personal protection.
The relationship between Remi and Mason is one of immediate attraction but Remi continues to struggle with the security that is constantly in her face. When threats become personal including images of Remi and Mason together, Remi begins to realize that all is not well in her hectic world. At times, Remi’s attitude bordered on childish and rude , and it would take an act of aggression to show our heroine the reality of the danger into which she has been pulled. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting characters including several characters from the author’s Sugar Lake Series, as well as Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark (Call Her Mine #1), Ben’s business partner and Remi’s brother Aiden Aldridge, and numerous crew members and actors associated with Remi Divine.
THIS IS LOVE is a story of obsession and anger; betrayal and revenge; family, friendship, romance and love. The premise is intriguing, captivating and engaging; the romance is steamy and seductive; the characters are numerous, energetic, fun and flirty. THIS IS LOVE is another wonderful addition to Melissa Foster’s HARMONY POINTE and the numerous inter-connected series.
If you read Call Her Mine book 1 in the Harmony Pointe series you’ll remember Remi Devine, she is the actress friend of Aurelia’s and this is her story, if you haven’t read it no worries this can totally be read as a standalone.
Remi is a well know actress who has been raised by her brother since their parents were killed in an car accident years ago, but now there is a stalker after her and he needs help so he hires a security firm to protect her when he is unable to. But here’s the thing, Remi doesn’t think it’s anything serious and is tired of being followed by bodyguards so she is constantly sneaking away that’s when Mason, the owner of the security company, takes over. He is convinced she’s a diva due to her actions but what he sees proves she’s anything but.
I love Mason and Remi together. I loved that they both had walls that the other was able to knock down, and don’t get me started on the chemistry because WOW! They are just perfect together.
I’ll say this time and time again, there is a reason I am a huge Melissa Foster fan and it’s because of the way she pulls you into her world of characters and has you feeling as if you are one of the gang just hanging out watching everything unfold as it happens and it you are right there with them. You can feel the sparks, the skipped heart beats, and the tension when something is wrong. I will always HIGHLY recommend her books and the best part is each of them can be read as a standalone so you can jump in and start a series whenever you want. Like now, *hint* *hint*
Happy Reading!!!
This is book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series and I really enjoyed it. Remi and Mason were so good together. Their attraction and chemistry was so addicting. You needed to keep reading to see if they would be able to fight it because he is her bodyguard or if it was too much for them to handle. This book is filled with romance and a hint of suspense and drama because of the stalker threat. Wonderful characters and a gripping storyline. I can’t wait to read what is next in this series and from this author.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
What a book! We got a glimpse of Remi in Call Her Mine and I knew then that I couldn’t wait for her story. This is slightly different than the usual Melissa Foster romance, as in the fact that there is the mystery of who is stalking Remi which is the catalyst of her being introduced to Mason.
Remi has had enough of being followed around by her two bodyguards – whom she has managed to slip past several time, and has demanded her brother get her one plain clothed bodyguard. Mason Swift has decided to take on the charge of being Remi’s bodyguard and when he first meets her he pegs for being a diva, but the more time he spends with her he realises that she is just trying to rebel a little after being looked after by her brother Aiden since her parents died in a car accident when she was young. Aiden will do anything to protect Remi, hence the bodyguards as he cant always be around to protect her himself. He trusts Mason, but how will he feel when he discovers that their relationship has developed from work to personal?
The stalker story line certainly had me shocked me when it was revealed as to the who and why, just as much as it shocked Remi! The trust and developing relationship between her and Mason was full of chemistry and fire, that had Mason questioning his professionalism on the job. Once they both realise that this is love they give in and become the most perfect couple. They both have trauma in the past and that connects them and pulls them together.
This is Love is truly amazing, the story will draw you in with romance and fear of the stalker as you try to work out who it is along side Remi and Mason.

Mason & Remi stole the show!
Each book I read by Melissa Foster just get better and better. This is Love is no different. Remi is such a complex soul just from the parents dying. This stalkier really bring Remi into the woman she wants to be and Mason gives her a safe space to flourish. Mason fights hs feelings, but what is meant tp be will be. It was a pure joy to watch their journey unfold.
This Is Love will steal your breath! This story will keep you on the edge of your seat, and yelling at the author for things you won’t see coming. This Is Love is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series and I loved every single page! If you’re looking for a book with romance, comedy, drama and suspense – this is the book you don’t want to miss!
Highly entertaining, action packed, emotional and heart racing adventure filled with dangerous twists and thrilling passion….. was a great read from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this exciting journey!
The hottieguard and the starlet!!
I’ve been waiting for Remi’s HEA, and this is the perfect one!!
Remi has a stalker. Her brother, Aiden, has her surrounded with protection, but she is so tired of feeling like she’s being suffocated in cotton-wool, Aiden has been forced to bring in the big guns since Remi has been ditching her detail.
Mason owns the company Aiden has been using. He thinks he’s going to be guarding a spoiled brat, only to discover Remi is so much more than he expected or thought.
Remi is drawn to Mason from her first sight of the hottie who turns out to be her new guard. Mason is tempted by Remi from their first encounter.
Full of feels, fun, passion, drama, suspense, and love. Remi and her ‘hottieguard’, Mason, are exactly what I was hoping for!
I love that Melissa’s bookiverse is filled with strong, independent, loving women who support each other. And the men all cherish them as they are!! And lots of love, family; both by blood & choice; and friendship.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Remi Devine has a stalker and her brother has gotten her a bodyguard. Several actually and she has slipped past them. Now he has hired the owner of the security company, hoping he can keep up with Remi. While Remi is in Harmony Pointe filming her latest movie, she wants to take some time off as soon as filming is over, spend time with her brother and their friends. When she meets the new bodyguard, she is drawn to him in a way that will test both of their limits.
Mason Swift is the man people go to when they need security or protection. His first impression of Remi was that she was a spoiled princess and just needed to be brought down a notch. But what he found was a woman who needed someone that saw the real person. She is a strong, independent woman. And Mason is trying to not lose his heart to her.
Can they catch the stalker before he gets to Remi? Will they be able to keep their feelings hidden until the time is right to share? What will happen when the job is over for Mason?
Remi and Mason are made for each other in a way that makes you wish everyone finds their soul mates. The way he wants to protect her and let her live her life as free as possible is so heartwarming and loving, it makes you swoon. The story is perfect and has you rooting for a happily ever after ending for them.
I love Melissa Foster and look forward to anything she writes, she is an automatic yes author for me in the review group. So, if you haven’t read anything of hers yet, you need to now. You will not be disappointed.

This is the second book in the series, but if you are a Foster fan you will catch familiar characters from other books. You could also read it as a starting point to Foster’s work and go back when you want to read more of the goodness!
Actress Remi Divine has a stalker, but she hates having a bodyguard even more. However, her brother calls in Mason to keep her in line as she starts filming a new movie. As you can imagine that does not go down well, but they somehow call a truce, and even become good friends. I really enjoyed being with them on set, and the insight into how it must actually be to switch on and off between scenes. There are hints as to who the stalker may be… and the level of concern cleverly swings from pretty serious to being low key, which works well with regards to tension!
It was fun to see them open up to each other and behave in a very close and friendly way, as well as being strongly attracted to each other. When they visit with Mason’s friends and Remi finally gets to have some girlfriend time, we get to see how cut off her life has always been.
I was completely captured by this book and read it late, late into the night and didn’t get up in the morning until I had reached the end – this is nothing new for me with a Melissa Foster novel, but I am warning you to make sure you have no other commitments when you start, because it is very difficult to stop reading ‘just one more’ page.

Reading a Melissa Foster book is like a hot fire on a cold night – comforting. This book is no exception.
Remi’s stalker won’t quit. She’s done everything she can, she’s even agreed to bodyguards supplied by her brother. She doesn’t expect the head of the security agency to become her personal bodyguard, but Mason Swift is taking no chances after Remi keeps ditching her detail.
As the sparks begin to ignite between Remi and Mason, you can feel the heat flowing off the page, which to me is a sign of a great romance.
I really adored this book and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is Love (Harmony Pointe #2) by Melissa Foster. Remi Divine is an famous actress. She is in town shooting a film. As with many actors she has a stalker and her brother is worried about her. Remi has a problem with ditching her bodyguards, so the big guns need to be called in. Mason Swift is the man in charge. He is an Alpha man personified. This is just a job to him till he gets to know who Remi really is. He now finds himself falling for her and sharing stuff about himself he has never told a soul. I loved this story. I smiled through out this book. Melissa always takes me on a journey where I fall in love as the characters fall in love. I couldn’t get enough of their love. The sexual tension between the two of them was also extremely hot and when the got together it was pure fire. Mason is just everything!!! He is a women’s wet hot dream. This book can be read as a standalone but with any of this author’s books you need a chart to keep up with who is related to who and who is seven degrees of separation from who else. It just make want to read the other character’s story. 5 stars for me
Remi Divine, smart, sexy, beautiful actress and finally Melissa Foster gives us her story. From the first book we see a woman anxious to break free from her overprotective brother to what she can be. Then we have the one bodyguard who not only challenges her but sees who she really is besides just an actress. There is just something about coming to Harmony Pointe that brings magic and love so easily Melissa’s stories come to life. The attraction between them is strong but what really got me was how easily their friendship grew to something so beautiful even Remi still had doubts it could be possible. Loved it and cannot wait for book 3 and this magical town.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
I love switching on my kindle and finding an new story from Melissa Foster as I know I’m going to be completely hooked from the very first page and This is Love was no different.
Remi is a stunning actress who hates her bodyguards but with a stalker on the loose she needs someone to protect her.
Mason owns the security firm in charge of taking care of Remi and when she runs her latest two bodyguards off he steps up to the plate himself.
Fireworks soon start to erupt and maybe neither one is what the other originally thought could true love be in the air?
A cute and sexy story that will capture your heart and I cannot recommend it enough.
It’s always a good day when I see a Melissa Foster book on my kindle! I really enjoyed watching Remi & Mason attempt to put up with each other, especially when they both have some wrongly conceived notions about the other! The story had me turning the pages until I could see them get their HEA! Such a great book!
Remi Devine has a stalker and she is tired of bodyguards, especially ones who usher her from door to door and don’t let her breathe. Finally her brother, Aiden, listens and hires just one bodyguard and what a bodyguard he is. Mason Swift was meant to protect others and his job is now to protect Remi. First impressions have him believing she is a diva but quickly learns she is anything but and is strong and just as protective of others. The chemistry between them is instant but takes a bit to strike. Together they learn to coexist while filming wraps and the stalker becomes aggressive. Great friends of Harmony Pointe keep this moving along as well and I cannot wait to see who Piper gets taken down by. Definitely a keeper and a recommendation from me. Not necessary to read the first one in the series to keep up with this one but that book was wonderful and shouldn’t be missed.
This could have easily been a poor little rich girl but it’s not really. Remi has earned everything that she has gained as an actress. But she’s reached the pressure of being too contained, too cut off from normal life. One of the main reasons for her giving her bodyguards the slip. Even her brother Aiden who loves her has over protected her most of the time. As her much older brother he stepped up to raise her when they lost their parents when she was twelve.
I liked that Remi was more than what you saw. This was an emotional story not only because of the current dangers but because of some of the past hurts in her life. I really did like that there is a phrase that helps Remi so much in tough situations. “Just Breathe” is the phrase that holds a lot of meaning for her and we get to see that as well.
Mason was a really good , honorable man who was top notch when it came to security issues. Remi was also surprised as time went on that he “got” her, he understood some of the things she felt. He did look below her surface. And the longer he looked, the deeper he was pulled into wanting her. They had plenty of dangers around them without that. But the attraction was too intense to hold off for very long. He also brought a lot of emotional pain to the story too because his past isn’t as smooth as most people might think.
I have to say that although I know that this is Book 2 in this series, I was a bit unprepared for all of the people introduced in this story. I was unfamiliar with them although I liked the Dalton family and those that supported Remi. It’s just that I often lost my place with who was who, who was single, who was married, who the babies went with which couple. You get the idea, right?
Still, the stalker is found as we knew they would be even if we didn’t know exactly how that was going to happen. Watch for the dangerous surprise twist. This leads into a H.E.A. adding more tender moments to the story.
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
Not my favourite!
This is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. I generally enjoy all books written by Ms. Foster, but I have to say, this one did not meet my very high expectations. It’s not that the book is bad in any way, but I felt it was perhaps too quickly pulled together. I felt some aspects of the story could have been developed further, while other parts were almost boiler plate and perhaps a bit too immature for my taste.
This is a good story, but not my favourite. All that said, I look forward to Piper’s story.

What can I say about THIS IS LOVE…
I adored this book, Remi and Mason’s story is full of laughs, sexual tension and so many steamy moments. Remi and Mason were so cute trying to play that they didn’t feel anything for one another. But once Remi kissed Mason boy did the fireworks go off. Plus it wouldn’t be a Melissa Foster book if she didn’t find a way to sneak in a little eye-tearing moment.
But I will say every time Piper was in a scene she stole it – with her one-liners and the t-shirts were the best. I can’t wait for her book to see who she ends up with.
This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend that you read Melissa’s other books. Melissa loves to have characters from her other books made surprise cameos.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved the characters, especially Mason. I loved the friends and support system that Remi has in place. I even loved the sad history they both have. Their stories are what brought them together ultimately. What I’m having a hard time with is reconciling the “strong” woman with the child-like Remi I met in this book. She has been protected her entire life and she has no idea how to truly protect herself. She says she can handle whatever is said, but she practically runs and breaks down the first time. I found her too trusting and more interested in freedom rather than taking care the problems in her life.
Overall, I think Remi is lucky to have the friends she has and Mason. Piper is a little fireball ready and able to protect Remi. Remi could learn a lot from her. And hottieguard needs to teach her some self defense.
