She has everything money can buy, but her bodyguard is all she wants—and together they’re exactly what each other needs in this heart-racing romance by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of Call Her Mine.Actress Remi Divine is sick of bodyguards, sick of stalkers, and sick of feeling like she is always under a microscope. But this movie star isn’t helpless by any means. She’s … helpless by any means. She’s got a rebellious streak, and she knows how to use it. First order of business: getting rid of the overbearing bodyguards who are sticking to her like glue.
Mason Swift has made protecting others his life, and when Remi ditches his two best men, he takes over and gives it everything he has. Having grown up in the foster-care system, and as a former special operative, he knows all the tricks. Nothing gets by him, especially not gorgeous, sneaky Remi.
He thinks she’s a diva. She thinks he’s arrogant. But when sparks turn to flames and their walls come down, their true hearts are revealed, and their connection is unstoppable. And when tragedy strikes, Remi realizes that being protected isn’t the worst thing in the world—but losing Mason just might be.

I love every Melissa Foster book I read and this one is no exception.
Remi and Mason have so much tragedy in their pasts and a bad situation that needs dealt with.
It’s so enjoyable to watch them both “see” each other’s real selves and grow as a couple.
I’m looking forward to more Daltons in the future!
I have come to a conclusion, I need a hottieguard in my life. Seriously, can Mason please come watch my body like he does Reno’s? I know I’m not a Hollywood actress with a sad past, but Mason is yummy.
I love the stalker stories, and when you add in a great twist, and when I’m convinced I know who the stalker is and I’m wrong, this was a great story. I love being kept guessing.
And, of course, Foster brings us back to visit characters from the past and introduces new characters we love, so the story is like visiting friends and family, but these are the ones you actually want to spend time with.
Loved meeting Mason

We are back and this time Remi gets her chance ha a HEA. She just was not looking for it in a bodyguard. Most of her guards would not roam to her or even treat her like she matter. She was more than a subject.
Mason was hot sexy alpha intelligent and more. He saw her for who she was not what she represented.
For me John Lane did the job very well. His voice was inviting and hypnotic.
Book 2 of Melissa Foster’s Harmony Pointe series is a sweet romantic intrigue with a deep enough plot to keep this reader on the edge of her seat flipping pages to see what happens next. The dual protagonists are A-list actress Remi Divine and her burly but devastatingly handsome bodyguard Mason Swift. It seems Remi has a bad habit of slipping away from the bodyguards her overprotective brother hires so Mason, as head of his protective agency, takes over the detail, especially since a stalker threat has re-emerged. There are some cat and mouse shenanigans between them so Mason decides the only way to keep his charge in check is to move in with her (separate bedrooms of course). He thinks she’s a spoiled diva and she thinks he’s an arrogant a**hole but like magnets, opposites attract. Remi continues to receive threatening but cryptic notes which ramps the tension even higher. Can Mason protect Remi and does she risk losing him when her stalker decides to go after Mason to hurt her?
“This is Love” has plenty of romance and suspense, the character development is adequate with some back story but what I really enjoy is the flawed but believable characters. Too perfect characters who never put a foot down wrong are a turnoff for me. It’s completely unrealistic and to expect your readers to go along with the myth is like pie in the sky. If I want fairy tales I’ll read the Grimm’s Brothers. Four stars.
Remi and Mason’s story was addictive, steamy, sexy and sweet.
Remi has quite a famous face. An A-List actress she’s used to the spotlight. But it has its downside. Add crazed and obsessive fans with an overprotective brother and Remi finds her self stifled and feeling claustrophobic. Getting away to Harmony Pointe doesn’t just bring her closer to her brother’s orbit of friends but it allows her to breathe, away from the constant paps and star struck public. But this little move comes with a bodyguard requirement.
And I’m with Remi. I’d have no objections to a sexy man like Mason around to “guard my body”. The chemistry was apparent from the start and quickly built into a steamy level of uncontrollable passion. Mason didn’t look at her as the famous actress she was, or her high profile, powerful brother’s little sister. No, to him she was all woman. A woman he took the time to understand and get to know and easily fell for.
Their story was absolutely beautiful!!
This is Love is the second title in the Harmony Pointe series featuring Remi and Mason, but it also features quite heavily several characters from the Sugar Lake series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books in both series’ before diving into This is Love.
Remi is an A list actress, but it hasn’t gone to her head, she’s quite a down to earth and likeable characters. She’s strong, sassy, resilient yet also has vulnerabilities that make her all the more realistic.
Mason is a protective, caring alpha who also happens to be Remi’s latest bodyguard and he’s used to being succesful when it comes to clients.
Remi and Mason’s have a slow burn romance, that is fun and flirty with a touch of intrigue. The chemistry they share is undeniable, and the sexual tension just oozes off the page.
Although not my favourite of Ms Fosters books I still quite enjoyed this entertaining story.
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the novel This is Love (Harmony Pointe, New York book 2): Remi Divine by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A mix of romance, good friends, and suspense with a caring and protective group of realistic characters but a little over the top. Chafing at the security restrictions placed on her by her brother Aiden and at being stalked, Actress Remi Divine longs for both the freedom and closeness found with her Harmony Pointe Dalton family friends. Little did she realize that she would find safety and love as well as a new purpose in life with Former Special Forces officer the current PI and security guard Mason Swift.
I love a burly, protector hero and Mason is especially delicious. Starlet Remi might seem like a spoiled princess on the outside, but she’s so much more. Both the characters have thick, protective layers that keep them separated from others and it’s a beautiful thing to watch them crack through them to connect with each other.
Remi and Mason fall in love while he is protecting her from a stalker, and they have to discover who is behind it so they can have a happy ending.
Love this series!

& keep you reading till the end.

Holy cow, I love Mason. He not only has the skill and power to protect Remi, and anyone else who may need protecting, but he’s also so extremely thoughtful. We’ve caught glimpses of Remi, Mason, and Remi’s brother Aiden throughout this author’s Sugar Lake series as well as the previous book in this series. I knew Remi’s would be an interesting story and she’d keep everyone on their toes. I just didn’t realize how she’d make me cry. And she wasn’t alone…Mason brought on even more tears than Remi.
It’s understandable that Aiden tried to keep a protected bubble around Remi throughout her life. But he never seems to take a step back to see that his “protection” was pushing her to do childish and risky things. Mason seems to understand Remi’s need for control from the moment they occupy the same space. He doesn’t bend when it comes to keeping her safe, but he involves her in the process so she doesn’t feel coddled and unheard. It’s very sweet and thoughtful, which just makes Mason a thousand times sexier in my eyes.
Remi is not the one-dimensional actress she is portrayed to be to the public. She cares deeply about the world and those around her. Mason helps her to tap into that need to help others in a way she never felt able to in the past. Remi really grows a lot in this story, into the woman she is meant to be…not the child her brother seems to thing she still is after all these years.
I love how the characters all banded together, more than once, to help Remi find some normalcy in her life. Not because they felt obligated or because they’d get anything out of it; they truly love and respect her and want to see her happy.
As usual, Melissa Foster leaves me content with the current story but wanting so much more with the any of her characters that are still single. I can’t wait for Aiden to meet his match!

A wonderful romance between two people who were uncertain if they would ever find true love. At the same time a suspenseful mystery storyline. A great read! Melissa Foster never disappoints.
This Is Love is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series which can be read as a standalone or as part of the larger series. This book is written from the third-person point of view. This Is Love is a workplace romance.
Remi is tired of being caged in by her brother and her bodyguards, sick of all of the stalker nonsense and feels like she is suffocating. Remi compromises with Aiden to have one bodyguard that is not going to be as stifling as the rest. Little did she know that her new bodyguard was going to turn her world upside down. Mason takes all of his jobs seriously and no matter how much he wants Remi he can not cross that line between work and pleasure. When things heat up and there is no stopping their attraction they try their best to hide it until the stalker can be caught. When tragedy happens, Remi fears that she may just lose everything!
Melissa Foster knows how to invoke all the feels in her books. I went through every feeling from laughing to crying and back to laughing. The attraction between Mason and Remi was steamy and off the charts. I can not wait to continue the Harmony Pointe series in April 2020!
This is Love is a suspenseful and sexy story and makes me wish I had a hottie guard like Mason of my very own! He is protective and sweet, but dang is he good looking. I love how he doesn’t stifle Remi and only wants her to chase all her dreams and spread her wings and fly. The intensity and passion these two share when they are together could start a fire and it’s exciting to witness. You need to read this book for the tattoos, the birthday’s and Chuck alone. Melissa Foster, you remind us why love is so special when you find that person that you cannot live without!
Tracey, Life Reads With Friends
I really enjoyed This is Love, but I don’t think that would be a surprise to anyone. The tension between Remi and Mason could be felt. Their relationship didn’t come easy and the obstacles they faced felt believable. I always enjoy a strong Foster man but I think Mason might just be my favorite so far. While I didn’t feel like I could relate to Remi I came around quickly. Mason and Remi fit so well together, if only everyone could find that kind of love.
‘This Is Love’ is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. Foster is one of my all time favourite authors, and the way in which she writes chemistry, passion and love is addictively compelling, and I never get enough of reading her romances. With this in mind, I could not wait for Remi Aldridge’s story.
Remi is a famous actress, her fame coming at a price when she attracts the unwanted attention to a stalker. With her safety in danger, her protective older brother Aiden hires additional bodyguards, ensuring that his sister is cared for. But having security follow her around 24/7 leaves Remi feeling suffocated and isolated. She is sick of being told what she can and can’t do, and feels lonely despite the love of her family and friends.
But when Mason takes over her security, Remi can’t shake her instant attraction to him, or the way in which he makes her feel normal in a world of non-stop paparazzi and potential threat.
Mason takes his job very seriously, ensuring that Remi has not only his full attention, but is able to relax in his presence and live life as normally as she can for someone in the limelight. Her beauty captivated him, and he feels this overwhelming need to protect her. But with a protective older brother, and being hired to do a specific job, does Mason have what it takes to stay strong and resist?
I really liked Remi as a character. She is normal and far from entitled. She loves her career, has a great group of girlfriends, and longs to be able to lead a normal life, despite nothing being normal for her since the death of her parents. Her past is painful, and something that has affected her greatly, and as Mason had a troubled upbringing with a mother who chose drugs over him, they can connect on a deeper and all consuming level.
I love how alpha male Mason can be, the lengths and extremes he will go to for Remi, and he is a complete heartthrob. A total badass of a book boyfriend!
If you are already a fan of a Foster, then this romance enables you to continue to be immersed in the lives and actions of characters you have already come to know and love. However this book is also a perfect standalone.
This book was off the scale in passion, chemistry and contained all the ingredients i seek in a romance. It is modern, original, and fun. I love the quirks and intricacies of Foster’s characters and I am so excited to see where else this series takes me.
‘This Is Love’ is an ideal read for anyone looking for a realistic romance that will keep you hot on your toes and swooning. It is fun, flirty and flaming hot!
Melissa Foster has proven time and time again that she has a unique talent of creating characters that enchant her readers … and her latest continues the trend! THIS IS LOVE is the second book in her Harmony Pointe series and brings us a Hollywood superstar and the bodyguard tasked to control the wayward starlet in a sexy forbidden love romance.
Remi is no stranger to avid reader’s of Foster, so starting this story with her handling a stalker and balking at the strict protection her brother has ordered for her was attention grabbing from the start. She’s a complex character in that she’s achieved such greatness in her young life, but still half feels smothered under her brother’s love.
Mason felt like walking sin the second he entered the first scene. He caught her eye majorly before he ever even got the chance to tell her he was her new bodyguard … and that chemistry continued to flare out of control as they danced around the sexual attraction consuming their thoughts.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sassy banter, steaming hot passion and generally good natured folks. You can’t go wrong with either book in this series so far … they’ve both been great!
This is LOVE, I’m in LOVE with this book and Melissa Foster writing.
Superb and easy to read.
My second book of hers and LOVE IT
This is Love is Book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. These books stand perfectly fine on their own. The first book in this series is the first I’ve read by this author and I couldn’t wait to read Book 2 once I learned it had been released.
This book was fun and steamy with just a touch of suspense. I an inkling as to who was the bad guy but the author certainly kept me second-guessing myself throughout. Mason and Remi were amazing characters and I enjoyed this story immensely.
