Another swoon worthy read by the amazing Melissa Foster. I love this series and this opposites attract, great banter, and sexy hero, Mason, is one of my faves!
Remi and Mason are total goals! I really loved this book, and was so sad when it was over because I just wanted to dive in and live in their world forever. I think Mason Swift may be one of my favourite Melissa Foster hero, he is totally swoon worthy, and Remi is the kind of girl everyone wants as their bestie. I lo ed that this book had a bit of a suspense aspect to is as well as the romantic element. A 5 star read.
This is Love is such a fabulous read. I love how Melissa Foster brings back such beloved characters and intertwines them into new stories. Remi is such a wonderful soul. You feel for her so much once you get more of her back ground. I love how caring she is and is more then just an actress. Mason will make you swoon. He just has this way about him that will make you melt into a puddle of goo. You feel the attraction and chemistry between Mason and Remi from the very beginning. You see two souls connecting and the love just blossom so. I love the protectiveness of Mason when it comes to Remi and you know it is more then just a job for him. I really can’t wait to see what love is in-stored for Aiden. You need to pick up This is Love and just enjoy getting to know Remi and Mason.
Remi is tired of bodyguards following her everywhere she goes, treating her like a job instead of a person. Her brother has gone a little overboard with the protection he’s hired for her. So when her brother decides to listen to her for once, he hires one bodyguard, who will be plainclothed and won’t stick out like a sore thumb. Except the guy he hired is the one hottie she noticed earlier at a gala and he actually had her yearning to be closer to him instead of running the opposite direction or ditching him.
Mason has to remember that his number one job is to keep Remi safe. But the chemistry between the two of them grows deeper each hour he’s in her presence. They both know that the line shouldn’t be crossed but they just can’t help this pull between the two of them.
As always Melissa gives you characters that you fall for from page one and don’t want to let go of once you read the last page. Remi and Mason were the perfect mix of sassy, sweet and sexy!
Remi is an A list actress who has become friends with the Daltons for the Sugar Lake series (and the first Harmony Point book). She unfortunately has a stalker and needs protection. Aiden, her brother, hired Mason as a bodyguard since she keeps giving the other ones the slip. I loved Mason and Remi’s story and their instant attraction. They both have some baggage to overcome, but this is a great love story with a bit of suspense and emotion. I also like how I got more of all of the Dalton’s. I really hope Aiden’s story is next!
I devoured this book! She’s an actress with a rebellious side. She doesn’t like having body guards…simple! She likes to sneak out on them. They’ve had enough and the owner of the company steps in. He’s gorgeous, talented and now she slowly doesn’t mind having a body guard.
However, she has a stalker and her brother insists she have a bodyguard. When Remmi meets Mason, she’s intrigued and there’s definitely electricity between the two! But first she must test him and see if she can sneak out!! I love him so much!!
Great characters! I couldn’t put this put down until I was done. Can’t wait for more!!
I love the Dalton family and their extended family so much! This author nails it every single time when she writes these small town, close family, lots of love series. If you like your male heroes sexy and sweet and the women who love them strong and brave, then look no further than Melissa’s books. This is Remi and Mason’s journey and what a journey it is — lots of slow burn chemistry with a little mystery and intrigue added in. I loved revisiting all the Dalton clan! Another winner from this author — can’t wait to read Piper’s story because I have a feeling it’s going to be an incredible one! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
So like all other Melissa Foster books you can’t go wrong with this book. Every book she writes you fall in love with all the people in it and this book is no different. Remi and Mason are perfect for each other. They bring out the best in each other. You will laugh, cry and have big smiles on your face while fanning yourself reading this book. As always you can pick up any book by Melissa and jump right in but be warned you will want to pick up another book by her right after because these are so good.

Remi and Mason will heat up your e-reader! These two have done serious chemistry, that starts the moment Remi spots Mason at an event. At that time she doesn’t realize he’s about to become her bodyguard (or hottieguard as Piper calls him!) Great book with great characters. It has a storyline that will keep you guessing on whose stalking Remi. And just when you think the case is closed, the suspense rises again. Definitely another great book for Melissa Foster!
Remi is tired of being suffocated by her older brother who is really just trying to keep her safe. He’s hired bodyguards to protect her and she works hard to ditch them. When she goes to a party and see Masen across the way, she’s desperate to meet him but feels he’ll be out of her reach. Imagine her surprise when he’s introduced as her new bodyguard. There’s instant chemistry between them but Masen’s had a rough past and doesn’t know what love is and Remi has so much from her past that creeps in on her when she’s not expecting it. Masen sees her in a different way and he fights to not blur the line between business and personal. She makes that hard because as they both learn boundries it’s impossible to keep things separate but before they can be together they have to find the person that Masen is trying to protect her from. Ms. Foster always writes her heroes as big hunky men and each book tops the last one, how I don’t know! I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I am a complete mess when it comes to reading Melissa Foster’s books in any sort of order that makes sense and I’m totally okay with that. I recently discovered her books and have read her most recent releases first leaving a huge back catalogue of wonderful romance reads to work my way through.
I fell half in love with Remi and Mason while reading Maybe We Will – Remi’s brother’s love story. I immediately added This Is Love to my TBR list and finally got to read it. What can I say other than, be still my book loving heart. This book was such a fantastic romance read. Normally I do not gravitate towards Hollywood and/or close proximity romances but this one reeled me in, one page at a time.
Remi is an actress, America’s sweetheart but underneath all that Hollywood glitter is a woman who just wants to be loved for who she really is. Struggling with the restrictions placed on her, she tests the patience of her brother and the men tasked with protecting her. Mason and his big, burly, protective self, won me over. I am adding him to my Top 5 Book Boyfriend list. He is absolutely amazing and can protect me anytime! Their chemistry was amazing and the way that they felt about each other was so beautiful to read.
Watching Remi and Mason love on each other made This Is Love a must read romance and gets the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval. TBR and Enjoy.
Totally engaging
A captivating story with wonderful characters, suspense, drama, witty banter and steamy scenes. This is a story that will keep you engaged to the end.

This Is Love was the second book in the Harmony Point series by Melissa Foster. Although the series was a stand-alone, it’s one in the many books within Foster’s Love In Bloom series.
Remington Aldridge was a famous actress known as Remi Divine. She had a violent stalker and her brother hired bodyguards until the threat was revealed. Enter Mason Swift. He owned the security company and once Remi ditched his two best men, he decided to take the project upon himself.
I enjoyed getting to know both Remi and Mason. They were both solid and mentally well people despite the tragedies they had seen in their short lives. I also liked Remi’s relationship with her brother, Aiden. He raised her after their parents died and they had a special bond. Foster took us through the many details, past and present, that made Remi and Mason who they were today.
True to form, This Is Love, was well written, well developed, complex and enjoyable. It also included many familiar names from previous books and a touch of suspense with determining Remi’s stalker. Overall, it was a quick, fun and sexy read. She Loves Me is up next with highly anticipated Harley and Piper’s story.
This Is Love
(Harmony Point Book 2)
By Melissa Foster
Remington Aldridge whose screen name is Remi Devine is a famous actress who has a stalker after her. Her brother who raised her when their parents were killed has hired bodyguards until they find out who is after her. Remi feels suffocated by the 24/7 surveillance so she rebels and ditches her security detail. That is until her brother brings in Mason to take over her security. She thinks he is arrogant yet is drawn to him. Mason thinks she is a diva at first sight but soon sees through her walls. I loved the push pull between them and how they helped each other see each other’s true self. Mason was so alpha bada$$ yet so warm caring, emotional when he needed to be. Another great addition to the Harmony Point series.
Five
4.5 Stars for This is Love ( Harmony Pointe, #2)
Book 2 in the Harmony Pointe Series and this is Remi Divine and Mason Swift’s story.
Mason Swift runs a security firm and his company have been hired to protect Remi Devine, an actress who is being hounded by a stalker, problem is Ms Devine is determined to lose the bodyguards assigned to her and that means Mason needs to step in.
It’s not until tragedy strikes and Mason and Remi find themselves in real danger do they both realise what they mean to each other. Sizzling chemistry, instant attraction and witty banter mixed with passion and suspense make this a must read. Looking forward to more in this series
I actually like everything Melissa writes……love to read in series even though I know they are complete by themselves…reading in series gives more time for character development…….loved this one!
I listened to the audio version at his book. I thought the narrator did a great job with the male characters, and all of the female characters except Remy. I should restate that. He probably did a great job with Remy but it just didn’t work for me. She was entirely too whispery, too breathless.
This is the 2nd book I have read in this series, and realized I missed a whole series (Sugar Lake) before this. I will have to circle back and read those books. This book was ok. I have read other books by this author that made me think “Wow!” at the end. This was a nice book.
I did wish the stalker situation had played a bigger part. It seemed to me that Mason fixated on one suspect. I kept wondering why he didn’t broaden his range. Or, at least if he really thought it was that person, keep his mind open to other possibilities.
A sweet, kind of romantic, Ok book. No real tension, no angst. A small town romance with elements of family, love, support, and friendship. Of course Mason and Remy get their HEA.
Solid 3.5 Cute addition to the Harmony Point series. We met Remi and her brother Aiden in Ben and Aurelia’s book. Remi is a movie star with a stalker and Mason is the body guard her brother hires to protect her. The arc of the romance is pretty predictable, and the resolution of the stalker conflict happens pretty quickly. I just love Melissa Fosters characters and the interplay of the friends and family saves the predictable and in some cases over the top romance (the Christmas tree thing was a bit much for me but maybe the pandemic has made me cynical)
Remi is in trouble. She doesn’t realize how much. With her brother circling the wagons and her friends helping too, she’s shielded from most of the crazy. She’s also being stifled under the “help”.
Enter the big bad Mason…more like bad@ss! Mason gets it done. As head of a security team that never fails, Mason takes his job seriously.
This is Love is a sexy, sweet romance. It’s filled with people you will be excited to track down. This cast of characters is exactly the kind of awesome group you’d want in your own story.
I look forward to figuring out who is from which series as well as loving on more of Harmony Pointe!
***4 Stars***
This one took me on a bit of a ride, not in a bad way (obviously), but Remi and Mason definitely had my head spinning as they tried to figure out not only who Remi’s stalker was, but their own feelings towards each other.
I really liked Remi. She’s sweet, sassy and despite the celebrity, is very down to earth, but she’s also quite naive in general about so many things that it drove me a little batshitcrazy at times. I understood why she was the way she was, but there were many times I wanted to reach out and shake some sense into her. Thankfully, with a little help, the blinders she’s been wearing are slowly taken off and she starts to take more control of her life. Mason was all kinds of protective alpha goodness. Able to see more than most do, he won me over because he truly cared about his job and the overall well being of those he cares about ~ even when he doesn’t want to.
Their journey to their HEA was an enjoyable one, frustrating because of all the push/pull going one, but enjoyable nonetheless. I enjoyed their battle of wills and how, for the most part, each one ended with both having a deeper understanding of one another, while also wreaking havoc on their emotions. It forced both of them to look deeper than either ever thought possible and pushed them to evolve. The chemistry between them was instant, but I did enjoy the slow burn of it all, even as it drove me nuts, and was very happy with where they ended up.
It’s hard not to get caught up in this authors books because all of the characters are so unique and well written that you just want to hang out with them as much as possible. I loved catching up with Ben and Aurelia and the rest of the crew (No, I have yet to find the time to read the Sugar Lake series…but it’s still on the never ending TBR list). And meet some new characters that have me crossing my toes that they get their own HEA’s in the future.
