CarolineBecoming a teen mom at sixteen was not what I expected, but then again, neither was being a single parent. Still, I wouldn’t change my past because that boy is my world.Hockey is the only thing my son seems to care about, so I work two jobs to make sure he can play. I’d do anything to make sure he doesn’t suffer because of the bad decisions his father made. When he won a whole summer of … won a whole summer of hockey training, I knew in my heart he was going to have an amazing time.
What I wasn’t prepared for was meeting his new summer coach. He was magnetic, powerful, and a player—in all forms of the word. If my life had taught me anything up to this point,
it was how to avoid making bad decisions, and Justin Stone was the definition of a bad decision.
I could never be a woman his family approved of. Even if I wished I could be. [JS1]
Justin
Growing up as the son of a hockey God is one thing. Growing up as the brother of a second hockey God is another. I had big skates to fill, so it was a good thing I loved every second of it.
Summer was my off time, my time to let loose, but when they ask me to coach a hockey camp for underprivileged kids, I couldn’t say no.
But when she walked in holding a little boy’s hand, my heart stopped beating. Or maybe it started for the first time. T
hey were a package deal, and I knew this—wanted it more than I’ve ever wanted anything. It didn’t take long to realize that no matter what happened,
I would do anything to protect them.
She is the only one I want to be with.
When push comes to shove, I have to prove to everyone that this is my choice, and This is Forever.

I received an advanced copy of this book and am choosing to review it. This is the 4 book of “This is” series but stand alone, you can dive in without worry about spoilers from previous book in case u want to read after this one. Caroline is a single mother with financial hardship but do everything in her power to provide for her little boy. Her son loves hockey and it choose to participate in a hockey camp sponsored by Justin. Justin is attracted to Caroline and after learning about her problem do everything in his power to help her and felt in love with her and her son. This is a sweet and sexy story with a little drama. Well written and easy read.
I freaking loved this book! A fantastically entertaining, fun, emotional and sexy single-parent sports romance with a protective, sweet-hearted, alpha hero to die for. I couldn’t put it down.
Justin Stone is the youngest son of Cooper and Parker Stone (from Something So Right). He’s the youngest of the five Stone siblings, who have all had their stories told throughout the Something So and This Is series, and his story brings both of those series full circle, finishing off the story of the Stone family beautifully… and even with a few tears. I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book, and it was everything I was hoping for.
Justin has appeared as a side character in earlier books of the series. An NHL star like his father, brothers and brothers-in-law before him, he is a bit of a party boy, but he has a huge heart, which is evidenced when he sets up a summer hockey camp for disadvantaged kids.
Caroline is a young, hardworking single mother who is in a heartbreaking situation, but she is determined to give her 8-year-old son, Dylan the best life she can. Dylan has been selected to attend Justin’s camp, and actually turns out to be a hockey wonderkid, and both he and Caroline quickly capture Justin’s attention.
It’s pretty fast-paced as Justin makes his intentions known, but there is a lot holding Caroline back. He has a battle on his hands to win her over, and in the grand tradition of Stone men, he isn’t going to let anything stand in the way of getting the woman he wants.
“I want to get to know you, and I want you to give me a chance.”
“You just feel sorry for me,” she says, trying not to let her voice get louder.
I look at her, and it takes me two seconds to step really close to her. “I feel a lot of things for you, Caroline, but sorry isn’t one of them.”
OMG, I love this romance! Justin is completely knocked on his ass by Caroline. He’s never felt anything like it, and though it’s all so new to him, he throws himself into pursuing her – being there for both her and Dylan in every way that he can and being an absolute sweetheart along the way.
“Caroline, there is something here,” he says softly. “You can pretend it’s not, but tonight when I kissed you.” His voice goes even lower. “It was everything.”
…
“Come on, sweetheart, say yes,” he whispers. “Take a chance on me. I promise you won’t regret it.”
I could completely understand Caroline’s fears, but she is powerless to resist all that is Justin, and nobody would ever blame her! The romance moves quickly but it builds beautifully and I could feel everything happening between them and loved watching them come together in what is a sweet, fun, intense, emotional and passionate romance.
“I love her. With everything that I have. Until my last dying breath, it will always be her. I will walk with her through fire if I have to, and if push comes to shove, I will.”
*dreamy sigh*
“Helping” along the way is the rest of the Stone crew, and I loved seeing so much of the family all together and all having Justin and Caroline’s back. As the eldest brother, Matthew has featured quite prominently in all of his siblings’ books and I found this one particularly special, seeing the close relationship between the two brothers – especially when Matthew starts handing out his epic alpha advice. OMG, so funny!
“Dude, you have to just move her shit into your house,” he says. “Just don’t even tell her.”
“What?” I whisper, looking back again.
“Just don’t tell her and move all her things in,” he says, and I look at the phone. “Or I mean, this worked once…” he says. “Just handcuff her to the bed and don’t let her out until she agrees.
“How are you even married?” I ask, and he laughs.
“She never stood a chance,” he says.
Little Dylan is a total scene-stealer. His relationship with his Mum is gorgeous, and the relationship that he develops with Justin will melt hearts and ovaries everywhere. It ties in beautifully to the theme of family which run so strongly throughout these books, and this book provides fantastic closure for the Stone family with lots of wonderful scenes of them together and multiple epilogues bringing the family’s story to a beautiful finish that had me crying happy tears at the end.
I love this book. It made me laugh, cry and fall in love, and Justin and Caroline’s story absolutely owned my heart.
Justin and Caroline!!!!!! With little Dylan!!!! What a beautiful story; so emotional and loving. Caroline was the epitome of a strong hardworking single mom and did anything for her son Dylan. Justin has the heart of gold. He was smitten by both Caroline and her son from the first day he met them. He tried his best to not fall for her but he couldn’t help it and he couldn’t help not helping her with her struggles. Caroline was as humble as can be and tried her best to not let Justin in but he was so nice and persistent. It took A LOT for her to open up. She had so much going on that poor girl that my heart broke for her. She deserved Justin and his family loved her and her son. I loved their entire relationship and loved everything about them. I loved that Caroline was still humble after everything.
Caroline is trying her best to give her young son the best life she can give him. When an opportunity arises that allows her son to attend hockey camp, she will do whatever she has to do, to ensure her son gets there.
Justin Stone is the best of the best, but coming from the amazing family that he does, his heart is deeply in this new hockey camp that he started. What he doesn’t expect are this super talented little boy and his stunning mother.
OMG, MY HEART!! Justin and Caroline’s story was nothing short of magnificent! My heart shattered for Caroline and her young son. I swooned HARD for Justin. Of course, his inner bossiness came rolling out, which I loved! I laughed at the Stone Family craziness. My heart broke, healed, and fell head over heels for these two. Seeing this all come full circle was such a bittersweet experience. I loved every single exquisite word of this book! AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!
Oh boy I’m so sad the Stone family is all grown up now. Justin is the last story to be told. He’s such a great combination of his dad and mom. All the other characters from the This series make appearances. Justin and Caroline will give you all the feels. Caroline is a wonderful single mom who will do anything to give her son a better life. Justin is enjoying playing hockey and living the bachelor life until he runs into Caroline and her son. This book has all the feels. It will make you cry, root for the underdog, fall in love with the characters, and plenty of panty melting scenes. The Stone family are probably my favorite family that Natasha Madison has written and Justin definitely lived up to my expectations. This can be read as a stand alone but I definitely recommend you start at the beginning with Something So Right. Very sad to say goodbye to the Stone family but what a great ride it’s been
I can’t believe it’s time for the baby of the Stone families book. Justin Stone is all grown up and off to find his HEA.
I loved the camaraderie of the family together. This family is hysterical together yet when things get tough this family knows how to rally and support their own. The emotion wether at a high or a low just grabs you and takes you along with it. You feel exactly what these characters are feeling . The chemistry between Justin and Caroline is off the charts…off the freaking charts! The steamy scenes are nice a hot. And the storyline, it gets you from the very first page and doesn’t let you go. Forget about adulting until your finished.
WHAT A STORYLINE! Get ready for all the feels mixed with great writing. Currently crying over the fact that this is the last book in this series because I love these characters so much! Justin is the baby of the family, and all his siblings have found their matches but he’s the only holdout, thinking that his family is crazy to settle down. Caroline on the other hand had to grow up way too early but has made due with the circumstances she was dealt. When the pair meet, the sparks fly, but Caroline is adamant that she isn’t interested because of the crazy her life entails. But Justin won’t have it, and continues to push himself into Caroline and her young son’s life until he’s in too deep. We get the whole family back together to see the youngest son fall for the love of his life, and Caroline finally gets everything and more that she deserves in life. I continually love this author and her style of writing and this book is nothing different. She has the ability to build on these characters while giving new ones stories of their own that makes readers fall in love even more. I am so sad that this was the last book in this series but hope that Natasha will bring it back with some secondary characters we met throughout the books.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Justin loves to play hockey but his foundation means just as much to him. Every year they host a program that gives kids who wouldn’t have change to play, time to play. That’s how he meets Dylan and his mom Caroline. Caroline is a single mother who is trying to do her best. Dylan is a natural on the ice. Justin finds Caroline attractive but will he be able to get her walls down?
5 “It’s a Stone Thing” Stars
I love this family!!!! I love this series!!! Gah I just can never get enough of The Stones, they just get better and better with each book. I always think this is my favorite one and Justin and Caroline’s story was no different. I remember reading Cooper and Parker and thinking to myself, I can’t believe this is a debut novel and here we are I don’t know how many books in and I still love this author’s stories. The characters she creates are impossible not to love. I love the glimpses we get of Parker and Cooper and knowing their love survived all these kids and their shenanigans lol….
Justin and Caroline were amazing! He has grown into an honorable man and he found himself one special girl. I couldn’t imagine him with anyone else. I enjoyed every minute of their story and wish the series would go on and on….
This is Forever is the fourth title in the This Is series. I adored everything about this heartfelt romance. Justin and Caroline’s story is engaging, fun and emotional.
Justin is the youngest child of Cooper and Parker Stone featured in Something So Right, and is the last to find his happy ever after. He’s a hockey star much like his father and brother, and likes to play hard both on and off the ice. Under the brash and flirty exterior lies a heart of gold. He’s determined and driven and much like his siblings he’s goes after what he wants.
Caroline is a single mother, struggling to survive and get through each day and will do anything for her young son Dylan. She’s a brave, strong and resilient heroine despite the battles she constantly faces just to survive, she doesn’t give up.
Much like the previous books in the Something So and This Is series, this title is a fast paced romance with strong themes of family and friendship and features cameos from all the previous characters I’ve grown to love over the course of these books. Although this is the final Stone to find their happy ever after I hope we get to see more of these characters in future titles.
For me this was a real page turner and the story pulled me in right from the get go and I couldn’t put it down. This story had a little bit of everything for me. The story was engaging and the characters were more than likeable. There was drama, romance, steamy scenes, emotion and enough humour to provide light relief. While the romance does build throughout the book, it still felt a little too insta for me up front and I would have loved just a bit more connection between Justin and Caroline up front. That said, I really did enjoy this book and devoured it in one sitting. I hope there’s more to come in the future!
4.5 fantastic stars
A Heartfelt sweet and sexy love story! Ashley@ Carolina Chic’s Read
Justin and Caroline’s story is one you are going to read. The single mom who is giving her son the best life she can. When her son has an opportunity of a life time to attend Justin’s hockey camp she will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Justin meets Caroline and the playboy hockey player is in for a wild ride. This story has all the emotions that you expect and them some!!!! A page turner and must read!
This was a fantastic read, a hockey themed single mum trope, full of emotions, drama and laugh out loud moments…. such a fabulous read I just couldn’t put it down, I was invested in the story line from the start, not one to be missed this!
Justin is the youngest member of the Stone family (from Natasha’s other This Is books), never one for relationships having followed in the footsteps of his family and became a professional hockey player. During the summer he spends time with his business, a foundation set up to help underprivileged kids to play hockey by offering a summer camp, all expenses paid. Little does he know just how earth shattering and life changing this summer is going to be!
Caroline is a single mum to Dylan, with a junkie for an ex-husband who makes her life hell. She had debts up to her eyeballs because of him, having to work 2 jobs and is just barely getting by with the most basic of things. Dylan loves hockey and has the opportunity of going to Justin’s summer camp, which Caroline is eager to make sure he goes to, within her meagre means.
Caroline has had it so very hard in her life, she is used to being there and doing everything for Dylan, not having to rely on anyone else, she is such a strong character but she does not realise that herself and has very low self esteem. What she and Dylan go through is heartbreaking and very emotional at times, Natasha had me in tears several times throughout this book!
Justin is obviously a NHL player, hot, sexy, and what dreams are made of. He is loyal, protective, caring and so very giving, I loved him and his whole Stone family! His relationship with Caroline and Dylan was inspiring, his interaction with Dylan was just awesome, just what the kid needed, someone on his side! But Caroline and Dylan stole the show for me, those two have been through hell yet have managed to keep going.
Quite an emotional roller coaster of a read that will have you laughing and crying while your heart gets broken and then remade as the storyline is raw, gritty and heart rending at times. Highly recommended reading.
S
Well, I’m so glad she listened and wrote Justin’s story. It is sooo heartbreaking and heartwarming. Caroline has been dealt one nasty thing after another. Justin is an awesome man! I’m don’t want to give things away. The epilogues are epic! Have your tissues ready!
I can’t believe that we’ve reached the end of the bestselling This Is Series from Natasha Madison! I love her hockey books so damn much and can’t get enough of the Stone family. They’re a bunch of crazy, funny and good hearted people who are in each other’s business all the time. They stick together through the highest highs and the lowest lows and I absolutely adore them for that!
After watching his siblings find true love, it was finally Justin Stone’s turn to get his own HEA. And boy did Natasha Madison give him a sweet and heartwarming story that made me swoon hard! I cried at so many parts. Some of them were super sad, while the others were so beautiful and touching they made my heart melt. When I reached the end of This Is Forever, I clutched my kindle to my chest and needed to take a deep breath! I was so happy for Justin, Caroline and Dylan. Everything came full circle, because once his father Cooper fell in love with a single mother too.
Growing up as the son and brother of two hockey legends, Justin had big shoes to fill from the start. Good thing he inherited the talent and was up for hard work. When he’s asked to coach a hockey camp for underprivileged kids, he gladly agrees. But nothing prepared him for the moment he sees a beautiful woman entering the arena holding a little boy’s hand. For the first time in his life, his heart stopped beating. Now all Justin wants is to get to know her and her story.
Caroline works two jobs to make sure her 8 year old son Dylan can play hockey. She would do anything in order to protect him and offer him a good life. All she wants is to prevent her son from suffering because of the bad decisions his father made.
Justin knows that Caroline and Dylan are a package deal. He wants nothing more than to protect them and take care of them. But Caroline is hesitant. Life has taught her some tough lessons and she’s too scared to love and trust again. Besides that, she could never be a woman Justin’s family would approve of. Even if she desperately wished she could be. But Justin is not willing to give up. He’s determined to prove to everyone that Caroline and Dylan are his choice and his forever.
Justin Stone is one of the best heroes Natasha has ever written! It’s impossible to not adore him. This guy was so selfless, compassionate and protective. His love for Caroline and her son made me swoon hard! It’s really no surprise he turned out to be such a great person. After all he is a Stone and they all have hearts of gold!
Caroline was such a good person and a true fighter! Becoming a mom at sixteen was not easy. Sadly Dylan’s father was no help at all. She totally deserved a great and supportive guy like Justin to show her how beautiful life and love can be. I cheered for them to be together from the start. They were simply meant to be!
This is Forever was a great read and a wonderful conclusion to the This Is series. Now I’m saying good bye to one of my most favorite series and characters that will forever have a piece of my heart and soul! Letting them go is so bitter sweet. But at the same time I’m hopeful that one day Natasha Madison will write about the third generation of Stones. I will never get enough of them. 4.5 stars!

Title: This Is Forever
Author: Natasha Madison
Series: This Is #4
First things first- I am so sad this series is over, but what a way to end it. My emotions were all over the place. One minute I was laughing and the next tears were running down my face. This Is Forever is everything I thought it would be-full of love, family, and hockey.
Ms. Madison completely surprised me in every way with how Justin was. Being the baby of the family I really thought he would be a spoiled brat. But I was SO WRONG! The way he was brought so many tears to my eyes-loving, caring, humble, and an all around good man. Caroline was an incredible heroine. What she made out of her life even after taking all the nasty hits fate threw her way, was inspiring. And the way she loved her son…let’s just say you could feel it coming through the pages.
Overall, this book was phenomenally written and the characters are truly unforgettable. While I am sad to see the series go, I can’t wait to see what’s next for Ms. Madison!
Lord have Mercy! Justin is just the most swoonable!! Natasha Madison creates the BEST men!! Every time I feel like I have a favorite, she writes a new book and I struggle to hold onto a previous favorite because all her men are the men we wish to find, or we wish our friends and sisters to find, our daughters. Get it? Justin, or really the Stone fellas are all such fabulous men. They are where the bar should be set! Anyway, y’all get it; I am way more smitten than a married woman should be. I love how cool and confident Justin is on the ice, how committed he is to his friends and family and to his community. He’s an all round good guy. He meets Dylan while working with disadvantaged kids playing hockey. He quickly took to Dylan and his mom Caroline. It made my heart swell when he didn’t look down on anyone due to their monthly earnings. Justin likes people for who they are… and he isn’t shy about showing it!
Caroline is just as lovable as Justin is! I feel for her as a woman, as a mother myself. But I don’t feel sorry for her. I feel pride and admiration for how well she’s done for her and her boy. She totally could have taken advantage of Justin and his kind and smitten heart but she doesn’t. She has pride in herself. Work it girl!!! She’s proof that women don’t NEED men but they can add to your life and that’s when you get a man! OMG, I’m rambling so much! I just adored them and left this story feeling like we were all friends and I’m just raving mad!!
I’m gonna wrap this up because seriously I’m half in love with all three of them and I think I could just talk and talk! Madison killed this story. She gave us friendship and love, sparks and chemistry, a love that would make any reader’s heart swoop and stutter! Madison seems to be unstoppable in her writing cave. What more could her reader’s want that such fun and sweet stories that left me feeling happy and content?! There’s really no better way to close a book if you ask me!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Wow, way to bring you A-game Natasha Madison!!! This Is Forever is a beautiful, emotional love story. Justin Stone is probably the most swooniest BBF this author has ever written. He’s a NHL hockey star, who does whatever he needs to do to take care of the people he loves.
He’s not looking to settle down, he’s just running his summer hockey camp when he crosses paths with Caroline and her son Dylan. To say life isn’t easy for these two is an understatement. Caroline is one heck of a strong person, who just keeps getting back up when life knocks her down. Justin wants nothing more to help her pick up the pieces and her and Dylan’s life easier.
I went through so many emotions reading this book. It was like I could really feel what these characters were going through. I was crying with them and I was out right laughing with them….there are some seriously hysterical moments brought to you by the Stone family, especially Matthew.
My heart was full and I had happy tears in my eyes when they reached their HEA. It really brought the Stone family full circle and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Y’all! I am so in love with grown-up Justin! I feel like I’ve been waiting for his book forever! Single parent stories are a huge favorite of mine and Natacha Madison completely knocked it out of the park! Justin and Caroline are EVERYTHING! I hate spoilers in my reviews, but I will say that seeing Justin become a mini (younger, because there is nothing ‘mini’ about Justin!) Matthew made my heart so happy! FIVE HUGE STARS!!!
Y’all! Let me tell you about my friend! She writes the most amazing books and this book, This is Forever, does not disappoint. These characters draw you in and hook you from the very first page. Justin’s story is hands down the best one yet! Grab some tissues, the tear game is strong with this.
