This book is about the authors experience of losing her only child and her journey to live life again. On August 2, 2007 around 2:45 a.m., she received a phone call from her son’s job informing her that he had was killed in a trucking accident. Cynthia screamed from the depth of her soul while slowly going to the floor in disbelief. In one unexpected moment, her life was in a whirlwind. She kept … kept saying,”This is unbelievable” ” This is crazy.” Little did Cynthia know that she would be saying this phrase over and over again for many reasons and for many years. She was desperately seeking help in her shattered world of grief and loss. She knew her search for understanding was the key to healing. Her healing process began when she joined a grief support group. She was tired of pretending, of wearing a mask of normalcy. She realized she had only blocked the experience out of her mind, which had prolonged her healing process. Cynthia confronted the loss and began an active pursuit to heal in a healthy way. During this pursuit, she realized loss comes in many forms (e.g. divorce/ relationship, job, homes, death, etc.), but the stages of the grief process are the same.

This is Crazy is the first book in the spin off series and was so so good! I loved it! I loved Zara Stone and Evan. The connection and chemistry they had were amazing from the start. I loved the banter, dirty talk and scorching sexy scenes! They were perfect together! I loved seeing all the family! I can’t wait to read Zoe’s book!
Without a doubt this was the most wonderful heartwarming but also enjoyable story with incredibly likeable characters that you definitely want to be friends with! It was unputdownable!
Zara, first off, I love her name as well as her job, call me jealous, whatever…anyway… when she tweets Hockey player Evan to go on a date, needless to say the ride is so much fun, flirty, family oriented and just downright entertaining too! Evan is just the perfect book boyfriend to be quite honest!
I laughed, smiled alot and shed more than a few tears!
How do you know if the man/woman you meet is the one???
How do you feel when you meet the significant others family and what if things go bad??
This story was the absolute best and I cannot wait for more of the series! The author is incredibly talented in the words she has written that I have no doubt whatever she writes next will also blow me away! She has nailed this book to perfection!
If you want a story that will give you all the feels, make you laugh, cry, swoon and sigh! This is definitely the book for you!
Natasha Madison takes us back to her world of hockey for book 1 in her new series This Is and what a great start to what looks like another hit series, I have to say I loved her Something So series so I was apprehensive about going back into that world but I should never have doubted this very diverse talented author. This is one amazing read !!!!!
Zara Stone has spent all of life surrounded by hockey and it’s players she had everything she needed until the day her boyfriend dumped her and then a few months later announced he was getting married to someone else. Revenge is sweet and Zara thinks up the crazy idea of crashing her ex’s wedding with his hockey hero Evan Richards on her arm……
Evan is intrigued when a tweet arrives with Zara’s proposition and he decides fate must have played its part as he normally hasn’t nothing to do with his social media account as that is handled by his over protective sister…….
The chemistry this couple share is sizzling hot and the banter that flowed so naturally had me laughing out loud. Zara and Evan are easy to love but the secondary characters also have depth and I’m sure their own stories to tell which I hope we get in future books in this series. The perfect mix of passion and humour all add to the enjoyment of this wonderful story.
5 Hockey pucks for this one! Natasha wrote a great hockey love story here!! I couldn’t put it down!
You’ve met the twin sisters of Matthew, this is Zara’s story!
Zara, having had her boyfriend break up with her is devastated, and after four months of morning the loss of him, finally decides to go out with the girls. The next day her twin Zoe see’s the ex boyfriends instagram post with the new girlfriend and that he’s engaged and decides after 4 shots of tequila, to tweet the exes NHL hockey idol Evan Richards and asks him to crash the wedding with her. When he replies with a yes and to dm him, well that starts a whole windfall of messages for him.
He plays for Dallas, she’s in NY, how can this work? Well he will be in New Jersey and they agree to meet, even though her brother and brother in law who play for NY have threatened him. When these two meet, the chemistry between them is off the charts!
Read along and enjoy their story, and you get to see previous characters as well! I enjoyed this book so much I truly could not put it down! Grab it asap!
Beautiful, Crazy love.
If you read her Something series, this book is the beginning of another series. Featuring Zara, one of the identical twins(the other one being Zoe). They’re the daughters of Cooper and Parker Stone, sister to Matthew & Allison. If you loved that family from that series like I do, then readers are in for a wonderful treat. Author Natasha Madison writes a book that is packed with humor, funny antics between the characters while keeping up with today’s trend. The book starts with Zara tweeting Evan as a revenge towards her ex boyfriend who dumps her, and dating process starts to form and the rest is history. There are some of the most hilarious conversations between the characters, the love of hockey, love between families and friends and much more. This book delivers a lot, it’s romantic, funny, and never dull. Evan is one of the most lovable book boyfriend and a lot of alpha. Zara is strong, independent, sassy and her twin sister always has her back. After reading the author’s Something series, I couldn’t wait to read about the twins Zara and Zoe. Zara’s story is amazing, so worth the wait.
What started of as of as a silly tweet became a beautiful love story..
First book in The Something So series, This Is Crazy is the story of Hockey princess Zara Stone and Hockey legend Evan Richards.
Little Zara and Zoe from the Something So series are all grown up.
Gah..loved everything in this book it was perfect. I swooned so many times during this book. Awesome read and couldn’t put it down.
The couple was amazing with great hot chemistry and loved the banter between them.
Zara is the kind of heroine I love in a book; sassy, witty, funny and smart. Loved her.
Evan..Natasha writes the perfect Protective Alpha and Evan was perfect in every way. Loved him so so much.
The story is beautiful and fast paced and light with nothing dragging and lots of laughing out loud moments.
Loved the epilogue and really loved the second epilogue because now I can’t wait to read This Is Wild (Zoe and Victor’s book)
BEAUTIFUL STARS!!
5 Star review of This Is Crazy (This Is #1) by Natasha Madison
Having read quite a few books from Natasha Madison, I was excited to read This Is Crazy, book 1 in her latest series.
We are back in the world of ice hockey and I am so excited to see what happens in this Something So series spin off..
I loved everything about this book. From start to finish Natasha Madison wove such an engaging story that I couldn’t help but be drawn in.
Zara Stone has been surrounded by ice hockey all her life, first with her father and now her brother, she thought she had everything she could wish for, until her boyfriend dumped her and then announced his engagement to another woman a few months later.
What better revenge than to have her ex’s favourite hockey player Evan Richards crash his wedding? What started off as a crazy idea in Zara’s head (after all she was never going to get involved with a hockey player) , quickly morphed into so much more.
Evan is intrigued when Zara tweets him with her proposal and figures why not? The chemistry between Evan and Zara was off the charts and so smoking hot, their banter had me laughing out loud on occasion and her family, well as always they are over the top.
I fell hard and fast for Evan, not only is he hot, but he is totally swoon worthy and an all around nice guy and I loved Zara, such a sassy and fun woman. These two together were a great pairing and I really wanted them to get their happily ever after.
I cannot wait to read more in this exciting new series from Natasha Madison.
I seriously cannot get enough of these characters! Zara and Evan’s story was just amazing! Natasha once again gave us everything this book needed to make a beautiful, sweet, sexy and hilarious story! They had such such a deep, loving connection and out of this world chemistry. The bond between Zara and Zoe was heartwarming and the way the family has each other’s back always just makes my heart sing! Evan is definitely one hot, smooth talking, sweetheart who made me swoon over and over again. I loved how strong and feisty Zara was too. They were the perfect match! Can’t wait for Zoe’s book!
As soon as it popped up on my kindle, I attacked this book. Be warned readers, get comfortable because it’s an highly addicting story that will not let you go until the very last page. A perfect 5 star story that had me hooked.
Zara is pissed. She was dumped and very little time later her ex is getting married. In a fit of rage she tweets that she’s going to the wedding with Evan, an hockey player. Which happens to be her ex’s idol. The funny part they’ve never met. It gets Evan intrigued, so he reaches out to her. He falls and he falls hard. Now he needs to convince her they are meant for each other.
In order to connect with a story and enjoy it, are the characters. I loved Evan and Zara very much. The bantering, the attraction and the romance was amazing. The chemistry and attraction lit up the sky like fireworks. The connection and mutual respect. A love story that made me swoon. The secondary characters played an important role in the development of this story. I enjoyed them too, they had their place to make this story perfect.
I loved this storyline with just enough drama to keep me intrigued and hooked. It was funny at times and lighthearted. The author created a perfect blend of sweet and sexy storyline with amazing characters.
There is one thing that stood out for me and worth mentioning is that she added a second epilogue. This epilogue is about other characters that will get their story soon. That one really had me saying “oh my god! , I want this story now”. I personally think it’s a good move to have done so. It screams AMAZING story coming up.
Standalone for now told in dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
I really enjoyed this one, it was crazy. Zara and Evan were the perfect match, their banter was great and the way they just connected was heartwarming. With some misunderstandings and other interference will these two make it? I loved this book and can’t wait for more.
I am so excited Natasha continued this series with the next generation! In previous books, we have seen just how crazy and confident Zara and her twin sister Zoe are, but in this book we get to see Zara in a different light. After her mediocre boyfriend ends their relationship, Zara is out for blood, and what better way to do that then crash his upcoming nuptials with his favorite hockey player, Evan. What turns into a one-time deal ends up becoming so much more as the pair spends time together and get to know each other. Of course throughout the book there are doubts and misunderstandings between the two, and the most surprising people give them the hardest time with their relationship. Per true Natasha fashion, the sparks literally come off the page with this couple, and she gives us the best combination of a sexy yet sweet romance story. I loved this story and I can’t wait for Zoe and the rest of the gang to get their HEA!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved getting back into this world and seeing the twins all grown. Evan is one of the most swoon worthy heroes I’ve read in a long time! I was definitely not disappointed!
I cannot tell you how in love I am with this novel. It captured my heart and soul, it truly did. I just couldn’t get enough, hence why I read it in just twelve hours. I was totally addicted and fell so hard for This Is Crazy.
Evan and Zara’s story was an absolute delight to read. It oozed warmth, joy and so many heart-warming moments that it took my breath away. Then add to that just the right amount of edge, heartbreak, angst and pain that left me gaping like a first class idiot….It was just the perfect amount of emotional pull all tied up beautifully.
And I’m going to put my hand up and admit, I’m totally girl crushing. Zara, Zoe, Vivienne, Karrie and Allison….These women are all so very unique with their own personalities which I absolutely adore, but when these five are together they are all kinds of hilarious with their banter, one liners and let’s not forget their crudeness. I adore these women so, so much. I cannot wait to see more of them. They are certainly a force to be reckoned with.
I honestly can’t rate this novel high enough. A perfect read that will leave you laughing your butt off, holding your breath and cherishing every word. You’ll love it.
5 stars
Natasha Madison has written one of the most perfect book boyfriends this time around. Evan Richards is going to make the readers SWOON! Every one will be calling dibs No one is going to share him. But all that doesn’t matter because he is and will always be Zara Stones.
We follow as two people fall hard for each other. We follow as these two make their lives fit for one another and all this craziness started with just one tweet.
Back to the rink with This is Crazy!
Highly recommended.
*I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author/publisher for free in exchange for my honest and voluntary review. All thoughts and opinions are those of my own.*
Zara Stone is from an NHL hockey family. She had it all, until her fiancée broke up with her leaving her in shambles. When she finds out he is about to marry another, she decides to get back at him by crashing his wedding…. with Hockey Star Evan Richards. What could possibly go wrong? Evan is one of the hottest hockey players on the scene, so when he gets a Twitter DM from a fellow hockey players sister to crash her ex’s wedding, Evan decides why not. She’s attractive and what could possibly happen in one date? Little did he know a lot is going to happen! They never met before…but once they do sparks will fly. Can this revenge dating plan really turn into something more or will their everyday lives be to different for more? This was a funny, sweet romantic comedy that will have you swooning for a hockey star! Omg, the conversations with her friends/family is hilarious!! I truly enjoyed every minute of this book and Evan Richards was perfection and knows how to treat a woman right! This is a second generation hockey standalone within a series and a spin off of the Something So series. Told in dual POV
This book is crazy good! There are alfa males then there is Evan. He swoon worthy to the bone. So protective, hot and the most swoon worthy man you’ll ever come across.
Zara is fiesty, gorgeous and looking for revenge on her ex. What started as a tweet quickly became so much more! I loved this book so much and I could read about this couple forever!
This is a fantastic spin-off from the Something So series! Natasha Madison really knows how to bring it! I love her writing style and this book has everything I love about sports romance including some actual hockey! It has the sweet and sexy hockey player hero in Evan and the smart, sassy and sweet heroine in Zara. This couple is magical together and I love them so much! The dual POV makes their story that much better because we get to know what each of them is thinking. Zara and Evan have such incredible chemistry and are just perfect for each other. I love everything about their story. What starts out as a crazy idea turns into the best thing that has ever happened to both of them. I love the cameos from the characters I love from the Something So series. And I really look forward to the next book. Fantastic epilogues too!!
This is Crazy by Natasha Madison tells the story of Zara Stone, who is heartbroken after her boyfriend breaks up with her. 4 months later he becomes engaged, so she asks his favorite hockey player, Evan Richards to be her date and crash the wedding. When he says, “yes” that’s when the antics begin.
This is a spin off of The Something So Series and we have the wonderful opportunity to revisit the Stone clan. The chemistry between Evan and Zara is off the charts and as always, this book did not disappoint.
Ms. Madison tells a story, like no other. Throughout the book we learn of more of Zara’s antics and this book had me laughing out loud. Evan is sweet and sexy and he and Zara are a perfect pair.
Next comes Zoe’s story, Zara’s twin and I for one cannot wait!
This Is Crazy by Natasha Madison was just what I needed this week.
Y’all, Evan is absolutely swoon worthy! And I love him and the sassy Zara together.
This book is full of feels and laughter and depths that only Natasha can pull off.
5 Stars!!!
Ok. What’s crazy is how much I loved this book. What’s not crazy is I already knew I would. Natasha always knocks it out of the park. This is a spin-off of the Something So series, which was an awesome series. In this book the kids are all grown up but, we still get a glimpse of our favorite characters. Thank you Natasha for another amazing book.
