This book is about the authors experience of losing her only child and her journey to live life again. On August 2, 2007 around 2:45 a.m., she received a phone call from her son’s job informing her that he had was killed in a trucking accident. Cynthia screamed from the depth of her soul while slowly going to the floor in disbelief. In one unexpected moment, her life was in a whirlwind. She kept … kept saying,”This is unbelievable” ” This is crazy.” Little did Cynthia know that she would be saying this phrase over and over again for many reasons and for many years. She was desperately seeking help in her shattered world of grief and loss. She knew her search for understanding was the key to healing. Her healing process began when she joined a grief support group. She was tired of pretending, of wearing a mask of normalcy. She realized she had only blocked the experience out of her mind, which had prolonged her healing process. Cynthia confronted the loss and began an active pursuit to heal in a healthy way. During this pursuit, she realized loss comes in many forms (e.g. divorce/ relationship, job, homes, death, etc.), but the stages of the grief process are the same.

Ohhhh Natasha you have done it again!!! I absolutely love Evan and Zara in This Is Crazy.
This Is Crazy is the first book in the spinoff series This Is. We get to see some of our favorite characters from the Something So series and only adds to this awesome story.
What could possibly happen when Zara Stone, hurt by her ex boyfriend, decides to tweet hockey star Evan Richards? So much wonderfulness!!! There is witty banter, sexy dirty talk, hot AF steamy sexy times and just an overall enjoyable read.
I love everything about this book! I loved Evan and Zara’s banter and their chemistry so much. I love the connected characters throughout Natasha Madison’s other books- yet you don’t need to read any of her books to still feel the affect of these characters!
This book develops slowly with a real connection of Evan and Zara. Evan is so swoony and doesn’t rush Zara. They really have true feelings and he supports Evan and she supports him right back!
It’s a top 2019 read for me because it’s just a perfect romance!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by author)…
This is a spin off series from the Something So series and follows the Stone family. I haven’t read the Something Series or Tempt the Boss, but I didn’t feel lost at all reading this book, but it did make me want to read them because I see some interesting things happened.
This book focuses on Zara Stone, identical twin to Zoe, and Evan, a hockey player. I really loved this book because Evan was so perfect and swoon-worthy right from the beginning. Now that isn’t to say Zara wasn’t totally awesome as well, I mean the whole reason she meets Evan is because of her crazy stunt.
I loved the connection between Zara and Evan, it was so cute and passionate at the same time. I loved the families and friendships although Candace did get on my nerves big time. LILO and Stitch, absolutely loved those dogs 🙂
There wasn’t much drama or major hurtle for them to overcome, which I usually want in a book. The book was was great, but nothing big ever went wrong for them.
I am looking forward to seeing what will happen with Zoe and I believe Vivienne is getting her own book (she is crazy, I love her).
You don’t stand a chance with Evan. If you don’t get to the end of This is Crazy with a missing heart and stars in your eyes than you’re just not human. Evan was so honest, so darn sweet… it just isn’t possible to not fall for him. I’m pretty sure every woman that has read this book has claimed him so I won’t even attempt that but I get it, for sure, he’s one of the sweetest, yet charismatic, and real-feeling men Natasha Madison has ever written. I think Zara was a perfect match for him. I love her antics and the fullness that she lives her life. I adore her families closeness and the sense of family that we get in this book.
Natasha Madison’s writing is kind of fun and flirty, and there’s this back-and-forth sweet banter that I ate up like ice cream on a hot summer day. Natasha seems to really grasp those intense feelings some people have in the beginning of relationships… I had (have) it with my husband. It’s like this compulsiveness to see and feel them, a constant longing when they aren’t around, the feeling of something missing and not “right” when they aren’t beside you. I love seeing that instant connection and am a true believer in when you know, you know. Evan might have known but Zara needed some convincing… she was fighting it a bit. This is Crazy is definitely a quick read, the story and characters are just fabulous!! The connection between Evan and Zara is strong and sexy. Natasha Madison is perfect at building up those connections until we feel as if we’ll burst from it!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Holy moly I DEVOURED this book. Zara Stone is hockey royalty but she is also downright beautiful. When Evan and Zara mix the Sparks FLY! I absolutely LOVED this book. Seriously everything this author writes I love. She is amazing
This Is Crazy is book 1 in the new This Is series, and it’s such a fun and sweet story!
I love sports romance (especially hockey) and I love relationships that are built through texts/phone calls. There’s just something about the build-up that hooks me. This book had both, and I was sucked in from the very beginning!
Zara Stone is living her dream as a personal shopper, building her brand and dressing celebrities. She’s got a waiting list of clients, a great condo, and an amazing boyfriend she thinks is about to propose. Instead, she gets dumped.
Evan Richards is a hotshot hockey player, coming up on the end of his contract and trying to decide what’s next. The only thing on his mind is where he’s playing next season until a tweet turns his life upside down.
What starts out as a joke leads to a romance neither Zara or Evan expected. Between living across the country, meddling family members, and crazy schedules curveballs are thrown their way left and right, but the chemistry between these two is so magnetic that nothing can stop them. I adored these characters and their story, and really hope we get more of them in this series!
If you’re looking for something light and funny, with minimal drama, and an addicting storyline then I definitely recommend this book!
I love hockey-themed books…when they are awesome. This story is wonderful. Just enough hockey (this author knows hockey) to keep it a sports theme, but I loved the storyline. I loved the characters. Evan and Zara are phenomenal. Natasha’s readers will know Zara from previous books about her family members. I love the family vibe they have going. I love the alpha male that Natasha’s male leads all seem to portray. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
The Queen does it again. I am never let down by this author she is outstanding I fall in love with every single Character and this is a spin-off of her other Hockey series so we know and get to catch up with her favorites from past books. Evan and Zara are Amazing together just perfectly Amazing they balanced out each other. I will not lie there I the end I thought I was getting chaffed, LOL.
Zara comes from Hockey royalty and she doesn’t like watching the game, so it was so much fun watching her change and grow. Evan was so phenomenal with Zara he was patient and so caring and devoted. Ugh, I just a mushy pile of Goo after reading this. It made me teary-eyed and had me giddy for the entire read. I Am never disappointed by this author and added another book boyfriend in Evan.
5 Crazy is Good When it Comes to Love Stars!!!
Ms. Madison is at her finest with this book which is the first book in her new This Is Series which starts with Hockey God Cooper Stone’s daughter Zara. I’ve been waiting not so patiently to get the kids stories and let me tell you, the wait was totally worth it because this book consumed me to the point that I dropped everything I was doing to dive into this one.
What started as a joke over Twitter quickly become the most swoony and HAF love story. Evan is one of the hottest hockey players around, the perennial playboy that Zara hits up to crash her ex’s wedding and resulted in them finding themselves in a relationship first as friends then lovers. This one is a little bit of a slow burn, but not really. When you read it, you’ll understand why I say this.
Oh Evan, he’s just so sexy, playful, respectful and totally a man to swoon over. Zara isn’t quite sure what to do with herself when they finally meet in person and their chemistry is palpable. Sweet Zara just doesn’t know what to do with herself and when they kiss, she feels it all over her body….
“His tongue slowly rolls over mine, the kiss so slow that I savor it. I’ll remember this kiss forever. It’s a kiss I’ve dreamed about; it’s the kiss that my sisters would tell me about that I never had, a kiss that every single little girl dreams about having.”
I loved this couple together so, so much. He’s a man that is just right for this headstrong young woman. He definitely doesn’t back down when her brother and brother-in-law try to read him the riot act. In fact it was quite hilarious when Matthew and Max were “laying down the law!” Even more funny is that Zara isn’t as into hockey as you’d think she would be given who her father, brother and brother-in-law are…if you’ll remember back to Something So Right at the very end when Cooper was trying to get her and her twin Zoe to skate…I was rolling!!
What I fell in love with the most in this book is how Evan literally wooed Zara. And when he loved on her it was heart meltingly sexy, hot and gasp worthy; they’re definitely not shy when it comes to the sexy times. But most important is they became best friends wanting to spend all their time together.
Ms. Madison has written a book that had me transfixed to my kindle with this story. There’s heat, love, devotion, adoration and everything in between. In it’s totality this is the ultimate love story that I will be reading over and over again!!!

So great to have this gang back together! I loved that there was little angst in this story. I laughed out loud for a good portion of the book. Zara and Evan are awesome! He was so OTT!
This was another really enjoyable read from Natasha Madison. It was super fun, light and really easy to read. Evan and Zara were such a cute couple and the witty banter between them will just bring a cheesy smile to your face. They had wicked chemistry and this is couple you just can’t help but get behind. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one.
I was provided with a copy of this book from the publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.
Holy mother of God. This book I have anticipated since these hockey kids were born and man alive Natasha didn’t disappoint. Welcome to Zara and Evans’ story.
“Beautiful, this is just the beginning of our crazy!”
Take a very heartbroken, recently dumped and completely walked over Zara sending out an innocent tweet to the one and only star hockey player Evan to give us laughs, tears, tequila, family and love. Bring on Zoe story because I guarantee that it’s going to be amazing.
It all started with a little tweet.
THIS BOOK! Omgosh – I absolutely love it. It has every moment you want in a book. When you smile, laugh, the book feels that make butterflies appear in your tummy. It’s everything you want in a romance. GO GET IT!
Natasha as done it again. Top read of the month.
I loved going back into the world of Something So Series. And the being the first book in the spin off of that series I knew it was gonna be phenomenal.
I loved Evan and Zara, they’re banter and their chemistry was off the charts. Add in Zara’s family, specially her twin sister Zoe and you’ll be laughing so hard.
I also love how the epilogues set up for the second book. Definitely can’t wait for that book.
This is Crazy, was my first book from Natasha Madison. I don’t know why I haven’t read her books before, but I know I won’t miss the opportunity to read them in the future. Now I just need time to read all her previous too!
I loved this story! Evan and Zara’s chemistry is incredible!
What started as a joke, turned out into a deep love. I loved how alpha Evan was, making Zara crazy all the time, but also feeling so loved!
This book sucked me in and I couldn’t stop reading it until I saw The End!
This is Crazy is a freaking masterpiece. Natasha Madison has a phenomenal writing ability it blows my mind. Her ability to pull you into the story and captivate you is mesmerising. This is Crazy is definitely a one click book that you need in your life.
This book was exactly what I needed! Light and funny without being a total fluff read, I really enjoyed it! Loved Evan, he is so swoonworthy and Zara and Zoe are hilarious. A little bit instalove but I enjoyed the fact that there wasn’t extra drama just for the sake of it like in so many books. I am super excited for the next book!
I don’t have enough stars to rate this book. It had me swooning from beginning to the end. Evan has made into my Top 5 book Boyfriend’s. He was everything I could ask for in a man. I loved how he felt fast and hard for Zara. All his small gift had melted me right into a puddle. As for Zara; she has a feisty personality. I loved her sense of humor. But what I loved most about her is how she handled drama with Evan’s sister.
I don’t know how it’s possible but everytime I pick up a Natasha Madison book I find a new couple to call my favorite. At this point I think it clear she can do NO WRONG!!She could have written a menu and I’d still love it!!! I can’t wait to see what happens next in this crazy hockey family!!!

If you’ve read Natasha Madison’s Something So series you may recognize a few of these characters and this is an all new spin off series. If you haven’t read the previous series, no problem. You can still enjoy this one!
I absolutely LOVED this story. I was completely hooked from the very beginning. Zara Stone gets dumped by her boyfriend, only to find out 4 months later he is engaged to someone else. So what do you do? Tweet his idol to go on a date to crash his wedding.
Zara and Evan are fantastic. Everything about their relationship was great, from how they met, to their chemistry, their banter, just everything. They definitely had an insta love relationship and it was so perfect for them.
Zara and Evan were amazing, but so was every single secondary character in this story. They added so much to the story and to the relationship of Zara and Evan. I loved Zara’s twin sister Zoe and I love the bond she formed with Evan. Plus, Zara’s brother and brother-in-law! They are so protective of her and I loved they pulled the brother card when it came to Evan and her being together.
This book is sweet, funny and has plenty of steaminess. It is a perfect summer read.
When Natasha Madison announced that she was writing a spin-off series for the next generation from the “Something So” series, I screamed like a little girl. I was all in, wanting all of the kids to get their own HEA’s, but most especially the twins, Zara and Zoe.
This Is Crazy is the first book in the “This Is” series, and Zara and Evan’s story was EVERYTHING! I feel like I say this with each new hero that Natasha Madison gives us, but Evan Richards is my new favorite book boyfriend. He’s an alpha with his take charge personality, but also the sweetest and most considerate hero you will ever read. He was so many little things that add up to the swooniest romance hero I’ve read in a long time. Fans of Aurora Rose Reynolds Mayson men will LOVE Evan Richards and this book!
I think I had a smile on my face for much of the book…it was so funny. I was in tears from laughing so hard with some of the conversations that Zara had with Zoe and Vivi, and kept wanting to call them up to go out for drinks. The dynamic with Zara’s family was almost its own character. Their conversations and shenanigans had me laughing out loud and fist-pumping at the same time. There were several moments when I didn’t feel like I was reading, as much as I felt like I was hanging out with family and friends. This clan has each other’s back in such an absolute and special way, making me never want to see this series end.
This book was like a breath of fresh air and hit all the marks for me as an avid romance reader. It’s told from dual POV and can be read as a stand-alone, but if you read this book, I have no doubt that you’ll want to go back to the beginning and read the other couples’ books in the “Something So” series. Well done Natasha! I’m ready for more.
