This book is about the authors experience of losing her only child and her journey to live life again. On August 2, 2007 around 2:45 a.m., she received a phone call from her son’s job informing her that he had was killed in a trucking accident. Cynthia screamed from the depth of her soul while slowly going to the floor in disbelief. In one unexpected moment, her life was in a whirlwind. She kept … kept saying,”This is unbelievable” ” This is crazy.” Little did Cynthia know that she would be saying this phrase over and over again for many reasons and for many years. She was desperately seeking help in her shattered world of grief and loss. She knew her search for understanding was the key to healing. Her healing process began when she joined a grief support group. She was tired of pretending, of wearing a mask of normalcy. She realized she had only blocked the experience out of her mind, which had prolonged her healing process. Cynthia confronted the loss and began an active pursuit to heal in a healthy way. During this pursuit, she realized loss comes in many forms (e.g. divorce/ relationship, job, homes, death, etc.), but the stages of the grief process are the same.

A super cute read with an alpha who is the perfect mix of strong/possessive yet so sweet! He never once waivers from his beliefs of Zara and I love how solid he is. Zara is strong as well and not about to be run over by others and her sense of humor is hilarious! This read will make you laugh and make you swoon all in one sitting!
Eeeeeep!!!! Evan!!!!!! Omgosh!! I’ve read every book by Natasha Madison and they keep getting better and better. Evan is the swooniest most chivalrous sweetest most thoughtful Alpha hockey playing hero ever. Zara is the perfect heroine for him. I highly recommend This is Crazy. I read this book in one sitting. It was that crazy good.
Excellent Summer Read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Evan and Zara coming together were both funny and sweet! This is a perfect summer beach/pool read! You will get so involved with these characters that you better watch out for the sun not burning you! The characters are dynamic and the plotline will have you immerse yourself in their life!
Read this book!
The tweet that could change it all! Ashley @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Zara Stone is the sweet and sassy New York girl also sister of a hockey player! Evan Richards is a pro-hockey player living his life Dallas. When Zara’s ex announces he is getting married she tweets a date proposal to his favorite hockey player. Will this one tweet change both their lives? Will the sister of a hockey player break her own rule about dating one? This one hot and crazy wild ride you will not want to miss!
When a tweet turns into a date with a archnemis what has Zara got herself into but can it be love? Evan & Zara have chemistry off the charts this story was too cute and enjoyed catching up with coopers family and hockey!
Delicious! From one hockey royalty family, there is a pair of twin girls who hate hockey. It’s fate that Zara Stone, daughter of legend Cooper Stone, a girl who ran screaming when her father took out the skates, would fall for a hockey player. And what a prince! He’s one scrumptious tall drink of hunkiness and on top of that, a good man, a gentleman, a guy who wasn’t looking but when he saw the girl, recognized her as special and didn’t let her go.
This story was lighthearted, with a little touch of drama queen theatrics from Zoe, Zara’s twin, some funny interactions when Zara freaked out, and two adorable labs, Lilo and Stitch. The Stone family is very closed-knit, there are brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a pair of parents, apart from a bunch of kiddos.
When Zara was dumped by her boyfriend, she spent four months in a slump. Then when she learned he was engaged to be married, her first thought was revenge. She decided to crash his wedding with the man he idolized, Evan Richards, hockey player extraordinaire. She invites Evan via tweet, he accepts the invite via tweet, and her whole family and the sports world all go atwitter.
Then they finally meet, amid all the menacing words from Matthew and Max, the overprotective brother and brother-in-law, also hockey players in an opposing team, and from Candance, younger sister of Evan who didn’t like the idea of another woman usurping her place in Evan’s life. In spite of all the warnings, menaces, worries of their family members, this couple knew they were on to something good and serious and significant. They persevered, there were lots of flowers and gifts, lots of borrowed t-shirts (to smell him when he wasn’t there), and lots of cuddle time. He lived in Texas, she lived in New York, but the distance was not a deterrent for this couple to find their happy.
It was a delightful story, with lovely characters, a happy close-knit family where the men are lovingly controlled by their women when they get to be too much, and this pair of twins who hold conversations together in their heads. Next book is Zoe’s and it’s going to be wild!
Lol this was such a great book!!!!’ Zara is crazy but fun and Evan is super amazing. It all started with a tweet from crazy Zara upset that her ex was moving on and Evan responding to said tweet. That’s when the whirlwind and the fun begins!! It’s never a dull moment with these two even though at times it seems like Evan sister was going to mess things up. But Evan wasn’t having it. The attraction was there from the minute they met in person for the first time up until their epilogue. It was no slowing down and I enjoyed every minute of the ride. Poor Cooper and Matthew were outnumbered with a house full of women and their craziness. I love the Stones/Grant and can’t wait for Zoe’s Book.
Every single book that Natasha writes consumes me to the point that my house is beginning to look like a landfill site, and this one is no exception. This is the love story of Evan and Zara and involves all the characters from the something so series. Evan is currently my favorite book boyfriend who is just delicious, making Zara fall for him. It started as a tweet from Zara to have revenge on her cheating ex but soon turns into more. The only criticism I have is when Zara and Evan finally cross paths with her ex i wanted him to hurt real bad, but maybe I’m just a spiteful cow who would have rubbed it in his face more! It was great to catch up with all the characters and Vivienne definitely has a special place in my heart and I can’t wait for her book.
Evan is just the perfect man and Zara is the woman he has been waiting his whole life for but just didn’t know it. Thrown back into the world of the Stone family. Lots of laughs, love and not too much angst or cheating. Great read to take you away. I love the MM banter.
I was so happy when I saw the blurb for this. If you loved her Something So Series then you will LOVE this spin off. You don’t need to have read that series to read this one……but, seriously why would you not want to???
Natasha has brought us a simply brilliant, sweet and funny romance that had me smiling a lot and unable to put this beauty down.
When Zara’s ex-boyfriend announces his engagement 4 months after they split what better revenge then to invite his favourite ice hockey player, Evan Richards, to gate crash his wedding. The chemistry and banter between these two was off the charts hot and with a family like Zara’s we are in for some seriously fun entertainment.
I honestly can’t wait to see what she is going to bring us next, especially aftet that epilogue
So I’m going to be honest, as always. I really wasn’t super hyped for This Is Crazy. Zoe and Zara weren’t my favorite in some of the other books. But….boy am I happy that I read this. This Is Crazy completely changed my mind about the two twins. I’m going through a stressful time right now, and it was just what I needed. This book was so much fun to read and the characters were hysterical. There wasn’t any over the top and unbelievable drama. It just flowed very naturally.
Evan is an up and coming hockey superstar and Zara is a hockey princess (her father and brother are kind of a big deal). When Zara gets dumped, pissed, and drunk she makes a humorous outreach to her ex’s favorite hockey player. Who would have thought that a joke would turn into true love. Zara and Zoe are quiet a handful, but the sweet gentleman that Evan is can handle it. You are going to really like this one. Trust me I was a skeptic!
Once you start… you won’t be able to stop this amazing story!
Who knew that one tweet would be the start of something so crazy? Evan and Zara were so great together. I loved them so much! This is a new spin off series that I am so excited about. Natasha has been a favorite of mine and with each book. she never disappoints.
From beginning to end I enjoyed their building relationship. I love how Evan was protective of her and didn’t take mess from anyone including her Cooper, Matt and Max. Seeing them and the ladies from the previous books brought so much humor but also showed the love and support that Zara had including from her twin sister Zoe. Looking forward to her book next! I can tell this is going to be another amazing series:)
I’ve loved everything I’ve read from Natasha Madison, This Is Crazy is no different!! She writes such amazing characters and her humor is reflected so well!! I loved Zara and Evan…WOW!!! To think Zara got this amazing man because of a tweet….the chemistry between them was off the charts, they are perfect for each other!! All that needs to be said about this book is READ IT!!! You will adore Evan as much as I do, and did, Thank you Natasha for this amazing story, and can’t wait to see what you’re evil mind comes up with next!!
Zara Stone comes from a hockey family, but other than that, doesn’t really care for the sport or the players. She has a career as a personal shopper which is rapidly taking off and a boyfriend to balance her life.
After going through a harsh breakup and finding out her ex might have been cheating on her, lovely Zara does the unthinkable and asks a hockey player out via social media.
Evan Richards is a hot item, but he never expected to be approached by someone consider royalty in his sport and what started as a fun game is fast turning to be a life changing event.
This is Crazy is a fun book to read, fast paced and filled with a funny and sexy moments. I liked Zara and Evan together, their chemistry and overall attraction. I really loved the relationship between Zara and her sister Zoe and with the other women in their lives. Another thing I really enjoyed was the families’ dynamics, both Zara’s and Evan’s.
On the downside, this is very much an insta-love type of relationship, which I deducted by the title, but unfortunately I’m not a fan and was a bit hard to get on board with. Still it was a good read and one I’d recommend especially if you are a fan of the author.
It’s time for hockey legend Cooper Stone’s daughter to take the spotlight. Zara has just about had it with her ex so she takes to the “Twitterverse” and tags hockeys rising star (and her ex’s favorite player)Evan Richards and asks him to crash the ex jerk’s wedding with her.
Who said nothing good came from social media?
First I have to say I have been waiting for the Stone children to have a turn at their HEA. And we get one of the unforgettably precocious twins first.
I loved Evan and Zara together, their chemistry was out of bounds. They were so much fun to read. And all of the supporting characters are just so much fun to hang with to. I can’t wait to see what’s to come with this amazing cast of characters.
Zara Stone was surrounded by Hockey – father, brothers, brother-in-laws. She was not going down that road. She only went to a game for the food, drinks and to support her family. When heartbreak strikes, she turns to social media to “call out” her EX! What starts as a joke turns into so much more! Evan Richards was on fire this season but when Zara “tweets” him to ask for a date, how could Evan turn her down? Upon meeting, their relationship blossoms and becomes so much more than they ever expected. Turns out things are heating up on and off the ice but how to make a long distance romance work? Natasha Madison has a certain talent for giving us hot hockey men.
This Is Crazy, proves again why Natasha Madison is one of my favorite authors. No matter the blurb, series, or interconnected standalones, it is an instant one click, no questions asked. This Is Crazy is an enthralling romance that has all the feels. Laughing out loud for me is what makes an ultimate love story, and this author had no qualms on that with Zara and Evan’s story. I feel like I finally know what keeps drawing me back for more and more from this author. It is her ability to make me feel like I know each character on such a personal level. Madison is so detail oriented when it comes to her characters, that it makes them more than personable, more real. I don’t know one other author that makes me feel that deep of a connection. So hats off to you Natasha Madison, because you have achieved something no other author has done.
This Is Crazy is the best kind of book. The dynamic between Zara and Evan is utter perfection. The chemistry explosive. The family dynamic is something most people could only dream of, and made Zara and Evan’s story that much better. The character development was one in a million, like reach for the moon type s***. The way that this story developed was heart warming, pure brilliance on this authors part. I honestly can not put in to words, how amazing this book is. There is no amount of stars that could touch this. This Is Crazy is just so crazy good.
Zara is a ball busting strawberry blonde bombshell that turns heads instantaneously. She has a backbone made of steel, and is absolutely hilarious. She is so witty and has the best pranks known to man kind. She is determined, strong and loves to seek revenge. Most of all, she is human with a heart the size of Texas.
Evan is a mans man. He is everything I could ever want in hero, especially in real life. His alpha-ness is so damn sexy, and the way he loves, you know it shows no bounds. He has the best of intentions. He may be an professional hockey player, be he is more than approachable.
I literally can not say one more thing, because I will give spoilers away and that is not my intentions. I am just excited, this book has me all giddy and happy and and just all the good things. Okay I am going to stop now lol.
Just know * I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!
How can something so crazy be something so right?
How can a single tweet lead to something so unexpected…something that redefines who someone is?
For Evan Richards and Zara Stone, the mass hysteria and social media tizzy that ensues from Zara’s revenge twitter post throws both of them for a loop, but what it also does is give them an opportunity to become something together that Evan never knew he wanted and Zara never thought she’d find after getting her heartbroken so thoroughly.
Boy do I adore these Stone twins! They have the best kind of relationship and they share a connection that no one can sever. In her own right, Zara is such a kickass heroine, not only because she’s one half of the troublemaking partnership with her twin sister, but also because she’s feisty and headstrong in her own right. She’s quite the intelligent and savvy business woman and even though she’s a bit gunshy to start anything serious with Evan, she can’t help but want to be in his presence and see what they can be together.
Readers will most definitely fall in love with Evan. He is not a typical arrogant, hot headed professional athlete; he’s an all-around good guy who proves himself to Zara time and time again. And let me tell you, when his alpha male demeanor comes out, readers will be swooning over this amazing man.
It’s crazy to see everything play out between Evan and Zara, knowing why they crossed paths in the first place, but sometimes, all it takes is one insane act to bring something new and beautiful into one’s life, and that’s definitely what happens when Zara reaches out to Evan to ease the heartache that her ex caused.
The secondary characters – Evan and Zara’s family are friends – add a great dynamic to the story line, which also allows readers familiar with Natasha Madison’s Something So series to check in with the heroes and heroines who they fell in love with when the first series was released.
This is Crazy is a great start to Madison’s new sports romance spin-off series. It has all the components of an amazing love story, and I can’t wait for Zoe’s book!
4.5 Poison Apples
This is Crazy is a hilarious adventure that starts off as an act of revenge ends up being a crazy story of finding your your forever in the place you least expected. This book had me laughing out loud at the craziness of it all and there were definitely some serious swoon moments!
This book brings us some past characters, (which was amazing) Then there is Evan and Zara, these two get into all sorts of shenanigans and there was so much chemistry between them that I was rooting for them from the start. Both are quick witted, funny and just want to have a good time.
I would say that this is a definite must read, if you are looking for an easy drama free romance. I highly recommend it!
