This book is about the authors experience of losing her only child and her journey to live life again. On August 2, 2007 around 2:45 a.m., she received a phone call from her son’s job informing her that he had was killed in a trucking accident. Cynthia screamed from the depth of her soul while slowly going to the floor in disbelief. In one unexpected moment, her life was in a whirlwind. She kept … kept saying,”This is unbelievable” ” This is crazy.” Little did Cynthia know that she would be saying this phrase over and over again for many reasons and for many years. She was desperately seeking help in her shattered world of grief and loss. She knew her search for understanding was the key to healing. Her healing process began when she joined a grief support group. She was tired of pretending, of wearing a mask of normalcy. She realized she had only blocked the experience out of her mind, which had prolonged her healing process. Cynthia confronted the loss and began an active pursuit to heal in a healthy way. During this pursuit, she realized loss comes in many forms (e.g. divorce/ relationship, job, homes, death, etc.), but the stages of the grief process are the same.

Wow! This book is everything! I was up late reading it and couldn’t put it down. Evan… he is a consummate gentleman. I want him to send me flowers, fruit, and his t-shirts. :::blush::: Zara is from a hockey family that’s part of this series. She has a twin Zoe, too! Just when she thinks her boyfriend of a year is going to propose to her, he breaks up with her! Months later she’s still hurt and ticked off, so she tweets Evan Richards that she wants a date to crash her ex’s wedding. Evan replies yes! But he wants to take her on a date, first. Thus starts the sweetest relationship. Evan is… amazing to Zara. I think every woman wants an Evan! All of the family makes appearances in This is Crazy which makes this book in the series that much more fun!
Trust me, you need to read this! Natasha Madison is the “Queen of Hockey Romance” to me. Amazing read, 5 stars!!
What I can said about Evan and Zara. They’re the perfect couple. Evan is the perfect man, so sweet, respectful, carrying, romantic and the same time is strong and a little bit male chauvinist which is perfect. For those that have readed Something So series it would be a great way to connect again with your favorite family. It’s funny, sweet, romantic and easy to read. At the end you will want more.
5 Stars
This book is the perfect slow build to smoking inferno I have read in a long time! I absolutely love the way Zara and Evan wind up “crossing paths” and the resulting back and forth that follows. There is such a wonderful sweetness to the start of this relationship. Sports romance is not always my favorite genre as it really is a delicate balance of sport to romance, but Ms. Madison has that balance done right! The intensity as this story continues is off the charts and it is HOT HOT HOT! I cannot wait for more from this whole crew…and yeah, you definitely have to love the entire family of characters throughout the book! It just makes it the right amount of Crazy, Fun and Lovable!

I had no idea what to expect when I started this story because it’s my first book from this author. I loved the story although I didn’t love all of the characters. Zara and Evan are the main characters and I loved them. They were the only ones that mattered to me and they did not disappoint. Evan was sweet, charming, protective and just an all around great man and hockey player. Zara was an independent designer, sweet and funny. I lover her side kicks: Zoe, Vivienne, Allison and Karrie. The four of them together was hilarious. I especially loved Vivienne. Her character made me laugh a lot. The characters that I didn’t really care for was Matthew, Max and Candace. Their attitudes towards Zara and Evan were extreme for no real reason. It took a while but I did eventually like Matthew and Max. However, when it came to Candace I didn’t enjoy her at all and even though she tried to change in the end it was too little too late for me. The ending of Zara and Evan’s story was sweet and left me with a happy feeling. This story would be a great read for romance lovers and it’s one I will recommend to family and friends. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
A great read – fabulous characters and witty banter. Highly recommend.
Fun read!
I love all the books about this family. I would like to be friends with them for real. Their love for each other and their mates is so powerful.
So good!! Didn’t want it to end!
I love this author!! Te book is si great!! The story wonderfull
Hot hot hot, loved it, easy read. You can’t really put the book down. I stopped in the first chapters to check in my library if this was my first book from this author, because I was really enjoying it, had another book that got for free, will read it next for sure. Love this alpha hot males, down to earth females, twins love….. supper recommended
Fun, sexy read. I really like how he claims her. Well in theory. Not sure it would work so well in real life. They are a great couple.
I really enjoyed this read. I wish the author had spent a bit more time with Evan playing hockey but this is more about the romance. I loved the play between Zara and Zoe and their family, M&M too. I will probably get the next book as I think Zoe will entertain.
This book is the epitome of its title! When Zara’s boyfriend breaks up with her to get engaged to another woman, she stupidly tweets a message to a hockey player to crash his engagement party, but what even more crazy is that he tweets back he’s all in to do it. What started out as a silly prank turns into so much more and tie in all the drama surrounding them and you get a sports romance that will keep you glued to the story from start to finish!
This was my first Natasha Madison book and I FLOVED IT!!
Evan and Zara were a swoon worth couple.
So cute together! I’ve downloaded the rest of the series plus her dad and brother’s stories too! I know what I will be doing for the rest of the week!
Natasha and Hockey…two of my favorite things!! How have I not read this series sooner?? And I did not realize this was a spin off from her Something So Series (those have been added to my list). This Is Crazy was the first book in Natasha’s This Is Series. It was a sweet and sexy read with lots of laughs!!
Zara was expecting a proposal but got a break up. When she found out he was engaged, mere months later, she went a little crazy. Little did she know the tweet she sent was about to change her world!
Evan was focused on his career, but when he saw her tweet, he decided to help. She wanted a date to her ex-boyfriends wedding. What could go wrong??
The two of them had so much chemistry!! Even with Zara trying to not give in, they were so cute together! I did not want the book to end! Can’t wait to see what is in store for them next!!
Absolutely love this book/series. Characters are wonderful. Love the banter, the instant attraction. Enjoy reading about previous book characters. Zara is a twin snd what starts off as a joke turns into true love. Love the alpha male in Evan. Must read series.
I love all of Natasha-Madison books. She never disappoints! Great characters and well developed plot. Always fun to read!
We finally get to really know Zara stone, one half of the crazy duo we have heard so much about. Zara is all grown up and out to show her ex something or two. In an anger fueled text to the Star of the Dallas Hockey team Evan Richards she asks him to help her crash her ex’s wedding. To her dismay he responds and when they meet sparks fly. This is the 1st book in the spinoff of the Something So series and I’m very excited to read the rest of them.
Crazy in love
Are you singing Crazy in Love in your head yet? Zara is without a doubt a head strong and independent woman. She is also wickedly entertaining, beautiful, and tons of fun. She’s full on feisty and has no shame! (Also never, ever get on her bad side! Nair in your shampoo will be the least of your worries!)
What starts out as tweet turns into a love story Cinderella would be jealous of! It may be crazy but it’s my kind of crazy!
I loved everything about this story, but I especially loved Evan. From the moment he meets Zara he is in love and isn’t afraid to show it. This also has entertaining secondary characters. Perfection.
