Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. The very next day you… stomped it into a million pieces and left town without a backward glance.Jerk.AllisonI know that’s not how the song goes. But, for me, that’s exactly what happened. I met the man of my dreams on Christmas Eve. We shared one magical night of passion and I thought—well, it doesn’t matter what I thought. Because, Christmas morning, he left … one magical night of passion and I thought—well, it doesn’t matter what I thought. Because, Christmas morning, he left me under the mistletoe and I never heard from him again.
Until he shows up at my best friend’s apartment in the middle of December this year. And I discover that not only did I not know my mystery lover’s true name, I never knew his identity, either.
The one night stand I had last Christmas? He’s one of the partners for the firm I work for. So he’s my boss.
Even worse?
He’s my best friend’s brother.
Max
It’s tough running a company. There’s no time for anything—and that includes falling in love. I haven’t been in a relationship in over a decade. It never used to bother me, though.
And then I met her.
With long legs, bright green eyes, and a body built for sin, I abandoned my “no distractions” policy and had my wicked way with her for the night. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted more than that—but an emergency call had me on the first flight out of Salem.
By the time I could return to search out my Christmas lover, I realized that I had no way of finding her again. The name I moaned? It’s not hers.
I don’t know why that bothers me so much considering I lied about my own.
Now she wants nothing to do with me. I don’t blame her.
Doesn’t mean that I’m going back to California without a fight. She says it’s just sex? I’m willing to do everything I can—including playing the part of her new boyfriend for her visiting parents—to prove how wrong she is.
And how right I am for her.
This Christmas is the second novella in the Holiday Hunk series. A sweet yet undeniably steamy second chance/fake boyfriend contemporary romance with meddling family members, a wayward feline, and a spark of Christmas magic—and they’ll need every bit of it to get these two workaholics together. A Sarah Spade HEA guaranteed!

I am loving the Holiday Hunks! They are uplifting, romantic, great characters, a little extra magic and plenty of heat for a short end. Max and Allison have great chemistry and find their Christmas happily ever after. Looking forward to the new Year read!
This is Max and Allison’s second meeting they met the year before at a bar on Christmas Eve and neither tells the other the truth of who they are. When they meet this time they are in for some surprises. I enjoyed how this story progressed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Max and Allison – meeting the year before on Christmas eve these two had spent the night together there is also the fact these two were not honest with each other. Set up for trouble part 1. One to part 2 – Max the alpha male in the story will have some other twists thrown in his way such fun to read. Cute story loved Salem too. It is a quick read and I liked the ending. Two thumbs up for this one! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Max just got snowed in and no flights are leaving so he is sitting at a bar observing a woman. Allison is nursing her wounds. Her parents have finally gone but they have left an emotional dent on Allison with their constant jabs about her love life or lack there of. When she spots Max she becomes bold and ask him to dance with her. One thing leads to another and they end up in her apartment for one amazing night. She wakes up to an empty bed and no message of the man that was there. It is a year later and once again her parents are there but this time she tells them about Max who happens to be her best friends brother and from there they think he is a boyfriend. Imagine her surprise when she finds out who Max really is. At a lost for words they both realize they led the other to think that they were someone else. Will this be the beginning of the end for them.

An Absolutely Fantastic Second Chance Romance! This book is an amazing addition to the ‘Holiday Hunk’ series – everything is described beautifully. From start to finish I was captivated with the overall quality of this book, the wonderful story line that has some drama, intrigue, Christmas Magic, and very interesting characters. The writing is fluid, it is fast-paced and can be read in one sitting – which I guarantee you will do because once you start reading you will not stop until the end. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Definitely recommended.

What a ride. You have a one night stand only to wake up and he is gone. What is worse is you don’t even know his name. Well along comes next year and guess what. You find out a lot of things about him. Surprise, surprise. As for him he didn’t know your name or who you were. What a mess. It is an enjoyable, emotional, suspenseful, fun read. It’s that time of year again. Out come all the cute, warm & fuzzy books, ones to curl up to in a colder climate or to chill on the beach.
Fate kept Max & Allison apart but bought them together the next Xmas. Both keeping their identities secret yet they didn’t realise how close in circumstance they actually were.
A nice hot hallmark book.
