Book five in the USA Today Bestselling Rose Gardner series! There’s no denying trouble finds Rose Gardner like a divining rod finds water, especially when Rose finds herself in the middle of a bank robbery. But after the robbers steal her deposit bag-containing a large amount of cash-she soon finds out that thanks to her sister Violet’s financial mismanagement, trouble is threatening her business … business as well. To top it off, Rose’s ex-boyfriend Joe Simmons has moved back to Henryetta to fill the chief deputy sheriff position. Rose’s involvement as a witness is the perfect opportunity for Joe to reinsert himself into her life. But Mason Deveraux, Fenton County Assistant District Attorney and Rose’s new boyfriend, has waited too long for Rose to give her up without a fight. Rose’s pregnant best friend, Neely Kate, suggests they find the robbers using Rose’s visions and Neely Kate’s knowledge about everything in town. The women are soon hot on the trail of the stolen money, but Rose is caught off guard when Neely Kate’s snoopiness detects the biggest complication of all: Rose might be expecting a baby of her own.

Wrong place wrong time, the story of Rose’s life. Joe sticks himself back into Rose’s life every way he possibly can while causing more tension between Mason and him. It certainly becomes quite heated.
Everything seems to be falling apart in Rose’s life and you don’t know what is going to happen next. Somehow throw some humor in the tense suspense of everything and you have yet another book you can’t put down. Of course, throughout the book there are times you wanna wring Violet’s neck but just like Rose gets reminders, we get them too that she is her sister and we should love her anyways.
Again another amazing book, keeps you hanging for what’s next.
From there very first sentence, this book hooks the reader in! Rose finds herself in the middle of a bank robbery and of course lazy officer Ernie isn’t exactly working hard to get her money back. Rose and Neely Kate take it upon themselves to track it down and hilarity and craziness ensue. Can I also just say that I HATE Violet and Joe in this book? They are both just terrible to Rose! I also enjoyed the return of Skeeter! He’s a character we need more of in the series to come! I enjoy each book in this series more than the last, and I LOVE them all!
Can I just say how much I LOVE this series! Rose has became a different woman from the start of the series. She’s getting tough! She will do anything to protect the people she loves/cares for! I also love how Mason and Rose’s relationship keeps growing! This book also has great story building. It keeps you wanting more!
This book makes you really sink your teeth in. I was very surprised with the way this story is unfolding. I think Rose is finally took a turn and is now in charge of her life. I’m so glad she has found friends to help her on her way. I can’t wait for the next book. I feel this story has now gotten interesting on a whole new level.
I think this book was more action packed than the last. How is that possible?! I went on an emotional roller coaster with this book. Happiness, sadness, anger, love, swooning, anxiety!! Between Mason and Rose’s relationship, the way Violet acts, the way Joe is acting, my feelings were all over the place. I wasn’t sure how to handle it all. I did enjoy it nonetheless though. Having different complications come up was interesting how Rose handled each one in stride. She’s really grown!
The Rose Gardner series are the best books I have ever read and re-read. Most definitely recommend them.
Holy cow! Denise Grover Swank is an absolute rockstar. Rose and Neely Kate get in the middle of more shenanigans during a bank robbery in Thirty Two and a Half Complications. This dynamic duo keeps me laughing with each new adventure. Rose finds herself in business trouble with Violet, and is in for a surprise when she hears Joe is back in Henryetta. Denise delves more into Rose and Mason’s relationship and has you rooting for her to find true, long-lasting love. Who knew that a free kindle book, Twenty Eight and a Half Wishes, would lead me to obsessing over this series and author!
Love Rose and all her friends. This us in the Rose Gardner series by Denise Grover Swank…I love the series but recommend you read the books in order. I totally love the books but there are heartbreaks and love along Rose’s path. Totally recommend the series and this book. The series starts with “28 and a half wishes.”
Perfect. Rose is my favorit female caracter ever.
Awesome series!!
Love this book. Can’t really decide if I am Team Joe or Team Mason……it seems like both are good for Rose. Such a well written book! Can’t wait for the next one.
Rose finds herself in the midst of turmoil again, which of course puts the reader in turmoil. Joe and Violet make life difficult for Rose plus her suspicions she may be pregnant doesn’t help. We see the return of an old character who offers Rose an opportunity she’s afraid she can’t refuse. This book has everything, I just can’t keep it to one emotion! Definitely a book that will keep you up all night!
This was my favorite book of the series so far. Denise has become one of my favorite authors. Thirty-Two and a Half Complications was an emotional roller coaster and I absolutely loved it! Rose inadvertently gets caught up in a robbery and is willing do whatever she can to get her money back that she desperately needs for her business.
I loved reading about Rose becoming a stronger and more independent person. I know she is still young and naive but she also has great instincts. Violet and Joe are very frustrating in this book and I cannot believe they way they are treating Rose throughout this book. Their deception and manipulation of Rose’s feelings is unfair to Rose.
I liked seeing the return of Skeeter in this book and I cannot wait to see how he will be included in the series later on. Rose’s life is certainly becoming more complicated during this book and it seems as though that will continue in later books. I am excited to see where her story is heading and how she will evolve as time goes on.
Thirty-two and Half Complications was wonderful! I was laughing out loud at points and could feel Rose’s nerves during certain points. Denise Grover Swank does such an amazing job describing emotions that you can feel them as you read. I love the introduction of Skeeter Malcolm and cannot wait for more Lady in Black situations. I am intrigued by Rose’s new role and cannot wait to see where it takes her.
