Friends don’t let friends séance drunk.A new Paranormal Women’s Fiction Romance series from NYT & USAT Bestselling Author, Michelle M. Pillow!Vivien Stone lost the love of her life over twenty years ago. Now that she’s in her forties with a string of meaningless relationships under her belt, she can’t help but pine for what might have been. It doesn’t help that she’s somewhat psychic and can … relationships under her belt, she can’t help but pine for what might have been. It doesn’t help that she’s somewhat psychic and can pretty much predict where a relationship is heading before it even starts.
When she and her best friends find a hidden book of séances, Vivien believes it’s the perfect opportunity to talk to her lost love. But things don’t go as planned and what was meant to be a romantic reunion takes a turn for the bizarre.
Maybe some things (and people) are better left buried in the past, and what she really needs has been standing in front of her all along.
Book contains: three very strong women in their forties who aren’t letting themselves be defined by middle age, paranormal phenomenon (psychics, ghosts, magic, etc), romance with sexy times (moderate, not OMG I have to read through my fingers), mildly strong language, and all the fear and excitement of taking a second chance at life. These ladies are doing midlife right!

This is the second book in the Order of Magic Series, a Paranormal Romance Women’s Fiction Novel. This Series is amazing! Vivien’s story is captivating, and emotional. Lorna and Heather are fantastic supporting characters. The three friends are gifted with psychic abilities. The mystery unfolds at a great pace, and the conclusion is beautiful. Rebecca Cook did a wonderful job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to The Fourth Power, Heather’s story, the third book in the Series. If you like Paranormal Romance, and Women’s Fiction, this series is definitely for you! I enjoyed it, and I HIGHLY recommend it.
This audiobook has fun, excitment, ghosts and even d suspense of the romantic version. It mainly revolves around Vivian’s love life. Enter Troy, Vivian’s neighbor and the complications ensue, but in a good way. The 3 b.f.f. witches do what they do best and Michelle M Pillow has another wonderful audiobook for us!
I highly recommend!
Third Time’s A Charm by Michelle M. Pillow
I love this series and these ladies are amazing and completely funny!! I devoured every word and cant wait for more!
I thought Lorna’s story would be the best, because it was first, but Vivien’s… Wow! Heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. I laughed and cried and even cringed at the ackward conversations Vivien tried to have with Troy. Simply beautiful!
This book was as good as the first book in the series. Vivian had her soul mate when she was young but she lost him to cancer. She didn’t think she could ever love again. The Fates had something else in store for her with her new sexy neighbor. Vivian had some hardships to go through before she realized that fate could give her a second soul mate.
This is another book in the PWF group, which are stories of middle aged women finding love. We met Vivien in the first book and these 3 women are very special and have an extraordinary bond. I can’t give anything away or it will spoil the surprises but you’ll love this book and how it all turns out
Three women joined by grief, friendship and now by 3 magic ring once worn by one of the women’s grandmother who was magic. Each woman also was a gift she was born with or a curse depending on how you look at it.
It’s time for Vivien’s story. She married the love of her life when they both were young and she lost him to cancer a few years later. Sam is the only man she will ever love or is he?
Troy just moved to town he has been married once before and has a grown son in college. Vivien has caught his eye.
This book was sooo much fun to read and it has it all, magic, drama, mystery, ghosts, spice plus so much more. I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want this book to end it was so awesome. I loved the characters and how they all interacted. Don’t miss it or the series! I am so hooked on it
Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it
The three sister/witches are back! Heather, Lorna and Vivian each have special gifts which bound them together forever. A strong bond of love and friendship that can not be broken.
This is Vivian’s story, she has been widowed for twenty years. Unable to fully move on with another man since her loss (she remarried once but it was a huge mistake). There is a new neighbor that catches her eye and throws her off balance but she just can’t make the move without the closure from her late husband.
The trio decide once again to hold a séance to reach her soul mate hoping to be able to move on to a new love.
I won’t give any spoilers away even though it is really tough not to! When I read the first book I thought it couldn’t get better. Well, I was so wrong, this book pulls all your feelings out. It has humor, love and a whole lot of tears. The kind of tears that kind of can cleanse your soul.
I can only imagine the next story, have your box of tissues ready.
If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would.
~4.5 Stars~
This story was sweet, a bit funny and a bit emotional. The characters are well developed and very likable. This is a great series and I cant wait for the next book
The three women are at it again this time a little more prepared and sober 🙂
I like how they still stumble through with the séances, learning as they go. It’s fun to watch as they try new things. Adding William into a séance was a nice touch. I really liked Troy especially towards the end.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
It was a great book!
It was supposed to be a simple seance.
All Vivien wanted to do was to talk with her lost love.
How could she know that the Seance would have consenquences ?
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
It has all the ingredients that you need for an awesome book!
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
I loved it! I loved the connection between the three friends. I loved the psychic element and the steam. And the ending… Awesome! I received an advanced copy of this book and freely leave this honest review.
Vivien and Troy
Vivien has never stopped loving her first husband. His death when they were still so young has never changed her feelings. Now that she and her friends have learned how to speak to their lost loved ones it is her turn. But is she just planning to say goodbye?
The three women and their William friend, brother, and lover of the threesome protect each other in their lives and PNR activities. But, can they really protect each other from those on the other side? Can a new man come through for her?
Emotions stretch the characters and readers alike. The three women are strong friends and women with loyalty unmatched. Another good one in the series. Ready for number three.
“I swear I’m usually funny” is one of my favorite lines. I don’t know if it’s because the story was so great I had to stay up way past my usual bedtime or because I could “hear” him in my head. Whatever the reason, it always made me laugh out loud and helped balance out the times the story made me cry. I love this series! It is so great reading about people around my own age and Michelle knows how to write excellent stories that I can’t put down and characters I can’t forget. I can’t wait for the next one.
Vivien is having a problem with her ex-husband again but that is the least of her problems. Her new neighbor Troy is flirting with her but she cannot seem to talk right in front of him she is trying to put him in the friend category but that never happens. Right now Lorna is staying at her house since she got out the hospital and Viv is so happy to have her there. The three friends decide to help Viv with a seance’ only she didn’t bother to tell Lorna and Heather that she wanted Sam her 1st husband back. Very entertaining. Story line very interesting and characters just keep you turning pages. There is lots of fun, action and romantic suspense and ghostly apparitions. I was given an ARC from the author as a gift without obligations. I am providing an honest review.
We met Vivien in Second Chance Magic along with Lorna and Heather. Each of the wonderful women has a special place in my heart for all of the heartbreak they’ve been through. Vivien lost the love of her life in her 20s and hasn’t fully moved on. When she realized they have these powers she thinks she can bring her lost love back. Little does she know in doing so she may have doomed herself. While this is going on she has to deal with her ex husband and a new love in the neighbor next door.
Michelle has done an amazing job building on this lovely trio of women. Each page makes you fall in love with them more and more. You want them to find their happily ever afters even in their 40s. I could not put the story down. It is full of suspense, humor and intrigue. Everything isn’t always what it seems and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Heather.
Viv was told she only gets one true love of her life and he died 20 years ago. She has been walking through life living but not really loving anyone that way. Now that the three ladies can summon spirits, it’s finally time to talk to Sam. Viv does meet someone she’s interested in but with what Sam said as his dying breath she doesn’t want to act on anything with Troy. Viv with the help of her friends finally overcomes her past to move forward. You will laugh and cry but in the end you will have a smile on your face reading this.
*I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
This is Vivian’s book. From the first book I had thought Vivian was an uppity snob, maybe I was a bit harsh. I loved the first book, so I hope this book is just as good. I love the three friends, the banter they have is so fun. I wish I had friends like these ladies. This series is another good one by Michelle M. Pillow, one of many. I’m excited to listen to the rest of the series. I highly recommend this series.
Audiobook review- Nice short story about a woman who was a widow and divorcée. The storyline is interesting and the romance is nice but just seems to move along quite quickly. The characters are likable and believable. The narrator did a great job. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
