Sneaking out of the palace wasn’t one of Aniri’s best ideas. But she’s the Third Daughter of the Queen of Dharia—zero responsibilities and zero royal duties. She’s just the backup daughter, in case her older sisters’ arranged marriages—to take the crown or broker an alliance—don’t quite work out. But once Aniri reaches her 18th birthday, she’ll be truly free… and then she can marry the charming … charming fencing instructor she meets for fevered kisses in the forest.
But then the impossible happens—a marriage proposal. From a barbarian prince in the north, no less. And if Aniri refuses, the threat of their new flying weapon might bring war.
So she agrees to the young prince’s proposal, but only as a subterfuge to spy on him, find the weapon, and hopefully avoid both war and an arranged marriage to a man she doesn’t love. But once she arrives in the sweeping mountains of the north, she discovers the prince has his own secrets… and saving her country may end up breaking her heart.
This Bollywood-style royal romance takes you to an alternate East Indian world filled with skyships, saber duels, and lots of royal intrigue.
THIRD DAUGHTER is the first book in the Royals of Dharia trilogy.

Loved the world these characters exist in. I’ve read the whole series and highly recommend the books for a fun read.
at first a little slow and confusing but after the third chapter, you get into it.
Steampunk other world fantasy. An enjoyable escape book!
Started reading but did not care for the direction it was going, seductive language. Etc so I deleted it.
This wonderful story was so good that I could not put it down. When finished I had to buy the other two books. I was so sorry when it ended because I wanted to keep reading the story!!!!
Not my cup of tea. Just couldn’t relate. Didn’t grab my attention, not a good read for me, but I’m sure someone will enjoy it.
Lost my interest real fast
Fascinating world and interesting characters. Look forward to reading the next in the series.
Unrealistic
Loved this book! Don’t usually read science fiction books but this was a easy read.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is ‘just’ a romance or ‘just’ a steampunk novel. The world building is vivid and interesting, really engaging you with the setting and giving you reasons to care about the political machinations that are catalysts to the plot. The love story is nice and well done, it felt like a realistic development of feelings while still satisfying that itch for an enemies-to-lovers trope, but it is not the A plot and possibly not even the B plot in my personal estimation. The characters are busy having rad adventures. Pretty cool book overall.
Fun fantasy.
Really enjoyed the writing style and the twists in the plot as it continued. Fun to read and hard to put down. Thanks
I really enjoyed this three book series. Not at all what I originally expected, but excellent nonetheless. Very original, with great characters that really pulled you in. I’d read more from this author.
The book was not a page turner, but did have some intrigue and imagination.
Truly enjoyable story. One that had surprising twists. Hard to put a real time on this one, but it’s a great read with romance, deception, mystery. I had a little trouble getting into very beginning, then couldn’t put it down.
Better than average book…not my usual genre
reading it right now, would recommend
Really like this book. Couldn’t wait to get back to it to reward the ending.
It was good
