Sneaking out of the palace wasn’t one of Aniri’s best ideas. But she’s the Third Daughter of the Queen of Dharia—zero responsibilities and zero royal duties. She’s just the backup daughter, in case her older sisters’ arranged marriages—to take the crown or broker an alliance—don’t quite work out. But once Aniri reaches her 18th birthday, she’ll be truly free… and then she can marry the charming … charming fencing instructor she meets for fevered kisses in the forest.
But then the impossible happens—a marriage proposal. From a barbarian prince in the north, no less. And if Aniri refuses, the threat of their new flying weapon might bring war.
So she agrees to the young prince’s proposal, but only as a subterfuge to spy on him, find the weapon, and hopefully avoid both war and an arranged marriage to a man she doesn’t love. But once she arrives in the sweeping mountains of the north, she discovers the prince has his own secrets… and saving her country may end up breaking her heart.
This Bollywood-style royal romance takes you to an alternate East Indian world filled with skyships, saber duels, and lots of royal intrigue.
THIRD DAUGHTER is the first book in the Royals of Dharia trilogy.

Enjoyed this easy to read romantic sweet book
I loved this book. The characters were great and loved the story. I purchased and read the rest of the series 2nd daughter and 1st daughter. I loved all the books.
I really liked this book it is full of political intrigue a the characters are well developed, funny, and likable. A little romance makes even more interesting. I highly recommend it. I am planning to read the other 2 books in the series.
I liked it a lot. It was fast paced
great story. Loved the way the author had the story set in another timeframe.
Loved this book! So packed with goodness…and the author kept you on your toes the entire time!! Literally the whole time, since this is a trilogy, all things don’t get resolved until the 3rd book!! Loved them!
Young adult reading for any adult. I love that this book (series) is steampunky but if you aren’t into SteamPunk you won’t feel like you are in overhead in a genre you aren’t into. A great introduction.
Good story with a little mystery in it. Fun read.
Fantasy was so intriguing I bought the rest of the series!
It was too hard to get “into” this book due to the cultural differences that I did not understand
THIS BOOK WAS ENTERTAINING FROM START TO FINISH.
I didn’t realize that this book was essentially a serial and I don’t care for those. It didn’t seem like a Bollywood story as much as a possible steampunk story. Viewing it as a steampunk story, I did enjoy it. It was the first of its kind that I’ve read. Had I read it as a Bollywood story, I would not have enjoyed it as much.
Not what I expected but I am not quite done. My reading time is limited and tight these days. Thanks for this book!
I enjoyed reading something from another culture even though it may have been fantasy. There is intrique, romance and suspense in the world besides America or England.
It did not interest me.
It was a little confusing and had gaps in story line
Not worth your time.
had to buy all three books !
I had never read books quite like this before sort of a romantic scoff !
Enjoyed the plot twists. Main character had to grow up quickly and decide to take risks to save her country!
Loved this book. Very well written characters. Looking forward to reading about the other sisters.
