Bodhi Abrams is the player to beat when it comes to the ice. He has everything at the tip of his fingers until an injury takes him out for a good portion of the season. After surgery he has to make a comeback, more determined than ever to prove himself while trying to escape his past.Camreigh Moore wants to be a hardcore political journalist yet she’s stuck editing and fact checking at a sports … a sports magazine. She’s lucky to have a job but two things: she doesn’t like sports and she hates jocks, then the assignment of a lifetime that could lead to her dream job happens but first she has people to impress with articles about Bodhi’s comeback.
With these two skating on thin ice can they both prove themselves and find love or will it all melt?

Thin Ice follows Camreigh and Bohdi as they navigate through charities, past issues, learning hockey and being scared of dogs. I loved their story! It was refreshing to read about an athlete who has such a caring side to him.
Sometimes you have to break the thin ice to get to the steam
Thin Ice has several meaning in this story about Bodhi and Camreigh. They are two very different people but they both have to prove something to themselves and to others that hold their future. this is nicely developed sports romance story that allows each character to develop along with the story and then into a relationship.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This was a really great read. Bodhi, I loved. He was sweet and sexy. Cammie, not so much. It took awhile to warm up to her. She was a little shallow with her hate on jocks and not looking really looking at a person before judging them.
4.5 of 5 Stars
Stephanie Nichole scores with THIN ICE. In this story, Journalist Camreigh Moore is given an opportunity of a lifetime. She has been assigned an exclusive to follow the recovery of NHL star Bodhi Abrams. The problem, she hates sports and jocks. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.
Stephanie Nichole does a nice job with her plot and character development. Camreigh and Bodhi are likeable characters. Camreigh wants to cause a change through her writing, and Bodhi is involved in numerous charitable organizations. Neither one of them wants the series of articles. They are both unexpectedly surprised by the other person. There are some good life lessons in this story.
This is the first book that I have read by Stephanie Nichole. I enjoyed her writing style. I would read books by her in the future. THIN ICE is part of the multi author Legacy series. I have not read book one, A SHOT AT LOVE by M.A. Lee. I recommend THIN ICE book to people who enjoy contemporary sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
H E double hockey sticks yes! This book is great. Fans of hockey romance, this is the book you’ve been waiting for. This is the story of Camreigh and Bodhi. They are total opposites. Camreigh is a journalist who is stubborn and could care less about sports. She actually has a distaste for jocks because of her past. Bodhi’s whole world is hockey. He needs to get back on that ice. Neither one of them is stoked about her assignment to follow him around to his charity events while he recovers. Soon they discover what they thought about each other is not right at all. And they start to develop feelings. But they are both fighting it so hard that they might destroy a good thing. There were so many moments in this story that gripped my heart and held it. Also this story brings to light a few issues that need to be addressed in today’s world. The only down side is that Bodhi Abrahms isn’t real. Our world could use a good man like him. Get ready to become obsessed with Bodhi and Camreigh. I feel like I know them personally. This is a great story that will make you swoon, want to scream in frustration and also inspire you in your own life.
Thin ice
Love- this “chill dude, I’m not the same person I was last night”— totally something I would do
This book however is not my typical read, not so much into the sports theme books but this author is a must read for me
Now I’m not gonna lie I had preconceived notions of how this book was gonna play out and I didn’t even read the blurb.
Not only was i pleasantly proved DEAD WRONG but found myself getting swept away in their emotions
I would really love to see another part to this book where we learn more about the too brothers K and T!
I truly enjoyed Bodhi and Camreigh’s story. They’re two apparent opposites in life: he’s a jock and she can’t stand them; she’s a woman made for relationships and he avoids those at all costs. But once they’re forced together to chronicle Bodhi’s comeback after a painful injury and his rehabilitation post-surgery, they find that they’re not as incompatible as they first believed. Bodhi proves to be a private man (for good reason) full of heart who uses his money, influence, and self to help those less fortunate, but can he open up just a little to show Camreigh that she’s worthy of his heart AND trust? Or will their life experiences keep them apart? Their road from unwilling cohorts to friends to HEA isn’t an easy one, but the ride is one not to be missed.
