Why would a collector of ancient American artifacts hand over his prized pieces to a historian and then shoot himself in the head? And why does an ancient Templar scroll in his possession refer to Jesus as “The Thief on the Cross?”The answers place historian Cameron Thorne at the dangerous intersection of secret American history and modern geopolitical intrigue. Following clues contained in … contained in ancient American artifacts and medieval European masterpieces, Cameron and his fiancée Amanda Spencer race to uncover the true secrets of early Christianity before a splinter group of religious zealots can silence them forever.

Once again David has weaved a superb plot, filled with plenty of twists and turns. Who did the Templars really worship and how did they become so powerful? Is David’s alternative to historical facts the truth? You’ll have to pick up a copy and make your own decisions. In any event, you’ll find this an excellent page turner. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
It was a fun read. It was a cross between Raiders and Da Vinci Code.
I found it very intriguing
Thief on the Cross is a thought provoking, action packed adventure story, in the style of Indian Jones. The tritylating hook of “can this be true” is the driving force along with the life and death struggle of the main characters. The preface warns that it is faith shaking, may bother some people, but if deeply rooted in your religion, it is thought provoking, and the reader has to make up their own mind and come to their own conclusion about the veracity of this story. If one has read about pre-Columbian civilizations, the facts stated are backed in several books, along with pictures of the artifacts. Read it and draw your own conclusions.
I myself liked this book.
I did not care for this book. It was to much information about artifacts. It dragged on.
Fun and exciting!
a lot of history and very thought provoking. very good reas.
I do recommend this but it’s starting to become the same ole same ole!!
I would recommend this book for the reader who likes to delve into history of the ancient church. A little too muchInformation to wade through for my taste. Still a good read.
Good thought provoker
Historical records and analysis are intriguing and thought provoking.
Very interesting. This book gave you new information for you to think about.
Templars in the midwest!
A fascinating concept, presented in a very believable way.
This book kept me engaged to the very end.
Hard to get into. Didn’t care for it
Loved that it referenced The Da Vinci Code. Very hard to put down until the last page.
Great imagination. I enjoy the search for answers outside the box. Who really knows what happened 2000 years ago
Def a read! Mind boggling, to say the least. Left me thinking alot, about my beliefs and how I was raised and taught. Love the history lessons and the links to check up on.
I have read a few books in this series andgound them all intertaining. All have a central background theme, but can stand alone as complete novrls. This one in particular ties several features of his background theme together, making it a key book to read.
The author warns that if you are deeply religious, you might be offended. I can handle that, but he needs to do a little more research into the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, before he uses them in his plot.
