Wow, what a book! I knew Winter was no simple school master, and he was so much more. I loved him as MC. And finally some light was shed on Ghost of St. Giles and how Winter came to be him, or, frankly speaking, one of them. There was such quiet strength about him, so much kindness. There were moments that nearly broke my heart. Isabel was such a …

Isabelle’s seduction of Winter was fun to read, and even though I read this book completely out of …
Recommended as part of the Maiden Lane Series. This was a very nice story and I thoroughly enjoyed but it came up short in a few places that my rating fell short of 5 Stars.

I have to admit, I read/listen to historical romance …
I loved this book!!
This book gives Lord of Darkness a run for its money as my favorite Maiden Lane book. Winter was such an intriguing secondary character in the previous books and now we get to see that there’s more to him than he lets on. And Isabel! What a great heroine! I loved the banter between her and Winter; made me laugh out loud so many times! This is …
