Christy Williams finally has her life on track. She’s putting her past behind her and working hard to build her career as a buyer for a large used bookstore. So far she’s been able to keep her drinking problem at bay, but everything changes when she lands a DUI on her thirty-third birthday. When she’s accused of a crime she didn’t commit at work, she has nowhere to turn. She yearns for her … her estranged family, especially her younger sister May whom she hasn’t seen for fifteen years. Now the owner of a failing cattle ranch in Elk Valley, Colorado, May couldn’t possibly want a relationship with the big sister who didn’t even say good-bye all those years ago, could she?
Soon Christy’s fleeing from her shattered dreams, her abusive ex-boyfriend, and God. Could the Triple Cross Ranch be the safe haven she’s searching for, or will May’s new-found faith give her even more reason to reject Christy?

“Real people” characters. Enjoyed reading this a lot.
Story approached from different direction than most! Really great characters and story line.
I am loving these books, 4 in the set and I’ve read 2. I like how each book has it’s own “main” character but they’re all intertwined. It doesn’t just drag one into the other. Mom, who is 85 is enjoying these also.
One of the best Christian novels I’ve read. Loved this series. Very modern situations.
I enjoyed this book. It was a bit predictable but good. It had more of a gospel message than other similar reads but not too much
easy to read and understand
This book disturbed my sleep a couple nights in a row as I found myself dreaming about Poland! The characters had depth and the story is set in a very difficult time of Poland’s history. I’ve always been interested in that country and found its history fascinating.
Enjoyed this very much. Have gone on to read the second book in the series!
I loved this book because of the magnificent use of biblical scripture. The problems that each character is challenged with, the scripture that meets the need for each problem. While I do not consider the characters (wonderful), they are down to earth, family relationships, and interesting people. I look forward to reading the next book in the …
Love Christian books
Ideally enjoyed this book from beginning to end.
I enjoyed reading it.
Great book! I liked it so much I read it twice 🙂
This book can stand on its own without having to read the rest of the story. I really enjoyed the characters and story line.
I love this book. It taught me to love my sis, even though she can be annoying some times. And the power of loving
Kept you wondering what would happen next
Holding on for what takes place next. Very talanted author.
Couldn’t put it down!!!!
The characters were not one dimensional. There was depth to them all, even the minor ones. The difficulties they faced were not easily resolved. The inspirational aspect was natural and not forced. This author impressed me so much that I actually wrote her name down.
Shows how life affects each of us and we learn to deal with all of the unexpected events that come our way.
