I was Lilith. He was Lucifer.Halloween night, one year ago, I sold my soul to the devil. Complete with a blood rite and everything. I had less than nothing. He promised me the world. And then he disappeared, taking my heart with him. But now, he’s the one with everything to lose. A family. A name. A reputation. I’ve still got nothing, but I’m clawing my way to the top, one body at a time. This … my way to the top, one body at a time.
This Halloween, things are going to be different. This Halloween, ‘Lilith’ is coming to take what’s hers.
Book 1 of the Unsainted series. Dark romance.

“When he touches me, I light up. I want to melt into him. I want to burn with him. We can burn the whole world if we want. We can burn up hell if we have to. We can destroy everything we touch, and we can do it together, without burning each other.”
Oh wow this book was something else I feel like I was on one wild ride in this book and damn if I’m not hooked. This is the 1st book from a new to me Arthur and boy does she speak to my kind of darkness. I couldn’t read it fast enough. These 2 or should I say 3 MC’s Lucifer, Sid (Lilith) Jeremiah while one wants to protect her and the other wants to save her from the other all the while their keeping a secret from her.
Lucifer meets his Lilith one night on Halloween and from there things spiral out of control.
” We’re a tangle of anger and despair and brokenness.”
I’m not going to say anymore, but I can say if you don’t like reading dark with triggers this book isn’t for you, but if it’s your cup of tea definitely one click this lil jewel and fall down the rabbit hole of the Unsaints.
Excuse me, what on this green earth just happened?
Buckle up, y’all, this is WILD!
First of all. Jeremiah. Idk whether I love or hate him or love to hate him. Seriously. My favorite character, and after you read this, you’ll understand how messed up that might make me, and I don’t care.
Secondly, Lucifer, good sir, I’m baffled by you entirely. You and your Unsaints. What are y’all doing?
And then, our Lilith. I like a fierce leading woman, and was NOT disappointed. And no, your opinion doesn’t matter. Keep it moving.
The twists and turns and reveals and what the heck moments(pg for y’all). I was on my toes the whole time, holding my breath, hoping for the best and knowing I wasn’t gonna get it, and still was too invested to stop.
You like your books with a whole lot of WTH? Grab this. Not a single let down in between these covers.
This book entices some very dirty desires. The world these characters live in is dark, gritty, and so very devious. I judged this book by it’s cover and I’m so glad to have done so. This book makes you want to delve into the shadows!
I’m so dang confused!
Lilith /Sid, I don’t think her last decision was that smart. I know she is angry and right now everyone is questionable. I am not sure what she is doing is going to calm her mind – or provide her with the missing pieces. Pieces even I am missing.
Lucifer – after that stunt? You can burn in the hell you created – alone
Mayhem – You? I just don’t like
Jeremiah so many unanswered questions about you. That final glimpse into your soul spoke a thousand truths.
IMO this is a bit more of psychological suspense than a dark (please note my definition of dark and yours probably differ quite a bit) or bully read and at this point in the story I wouldn’t really define it as a romance. There is a lot going on in the background that defines the characters. Concepts and truths that I felt I was just given tastes of, not enough to leave me sated just enough to stir my hunger and keep me hoping for more. Not sure how I feel about that -lol.
Overall?
I enjoyed the cast and did devour this in one sitting
I think the carrot and the stick concept is working here
Okay I will admit you should never judge a book by its cover, but this cover pulled me in and fascinated me. In this case judge a book by its cover because this story was amazeballs.
The story of the Unsainted versus the Order of the Rain and one girl stuck in the middle Sidney. It all started one year ago from the present on Halloween night. Rituals, Blood, Power, Money and Sex is the name of the game. They are all after it and both groups think Sidney is theirs.
K.V. Rose is a new to me author and I’m so glad I found her. Her storytelling is immaculate. This dark romance tale is unpredictable, and original. From the very first chapter I was all in. She has a way of making you fall hard even for the worst of them all. Her characters are all messed up flawed, tough as nails, and do horrible things, but you still seem to be captured by them. This is the first book in Sidney and Lucifer story and let me tell you, it had a lot of W. T. F. moments. This was a refreshing plot line that reminded me why I love reading so much. I highly recommend this book, but take caution before you read it. This content has dark issues and may have triggers for some, it’s not for the faint of heart.
This is NOT a paranormal story. Just a very dark and twisted story with characters that draw you in from the very start!
This is the most addicting book I have read as of yet! It’s a very dark story, but the characters are so addicting you can’t help but want more! I was more than willing to lose all the sleep in the word, just so I could finish this in one sitting. The intensity of it all is like a lit fire deep within that has no chance of burning out!
Lilith and Lucifer — and Jeremiah… Is it wrong for me to wish Lilith can have them both? Probably. Do I care? Not really.
Throughout the book, the story seems to want to trick your mind that there could possibly be a chance of some incest thrown in. Look, I know that sounds super gross and NOT ok by any means — in real life to most people. BUT seriously, the book has to be read in order to understand what I am talking about. Your brain will also try to switch gears on you as well. It is seriously an incredibly well written story! It really is that good. And I am more than ready to get my hands on the next one! That ending left me craving more!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a really good book. Kept me drawn in and I didn’t want to put my kindle down. The story is very well written. I highly recommend reading this book.

**Mini review**
“ᏞuᏟᎥfᎬᏒ ოᎥgɧϮ ɧᎪע ᏒuլᎠ ɧլլ, ცuϮ լᎥլᎥϮɧ ოᎪᎠ ᎥϮ ცuᏒภ.”
These Monstrous Ties was everythingggg! KV Rose killed it! It had everything that I look for in a dark romance. It had the perfect amount of secrets, suspense, mystery, wickedness, and dark and flawed characters. I could not get enough of it and I didn’t want to put it down! I’m so happy that this is a series and I get to read more about Sid, Lucifer and Jeremiah. That cliffy though I want to start book 2: Pray for Scars (Unsainted Book 2) but I’m kind of in a hangover over this one
I am a true believer of trusting your gut! Like I have a pretty good sense of things! BUT THIS BOOK!! (although I got 3 guesses right) big thanks to Richelle for listening to my damn rambles the whole time I read this
I enjoyed this! I had a weird/creepy giddiness once it gripped me. And I won’t lie it took up to about 20% in till I was really in it.
I don’t knew how to describe Sid/Lilith. She’s sad…but she’s a survivor. She is a badass…but she is so infuriating. Like babe ASK QUESTIONS!! Like real questions! but she is willing to burn everything down to get back at the people who have wronged her…she just has to figure who those people are!
Lucifer he was adorable. They have a insta love-ish type relationship. And he is pretty great for a guy who will beat in someone else face .
At this point with the information we have now! I want Sid to just LOVE HIM! But whatever girl go get us some answers I guess.
This will leave you with a lot of questions and very few answers. But I still loved it…make it make sense.
There are very few spice scenes BUT the scenes we do get are and I have a type sooo Mayhem is DADDY! I said what I said I mean it!
Also….F*CK Jeremiah.
*Spoilers and trigger warning*
‘Lucifer might have ruled hell, but Lilith made it burn. And tonight, he’s going to find out just what that means.”
Holy crap! I fell in love with this book!
Lucifer
This book threw me a curve ball! It didn’t go where I thought it would. But I’m so happy that it went the way it did. While I was disgusted with what her brother did to her, I think she did exactly what she should have when it came to him. She let him live, and now he has to live with that guilt. And Ezra when he was the first to attack her brother, it wasn’t something I expected but it made me love him. I loved that he spent a year looking for her, I hope that she finds her way back to him and they figure out how to be together and rule like they should together. *TW* The knife scenes were awesome, but I like it messier than it was, but I still loved it!
If you love thugs, secrets, suspense, and revenge this is the book for you
I just downloaded book two and I already have a feeling I’m in for a wild ride.
Just finished this and I am so glad that the next book is out. I started late on this series after having it on my tbr forever. Finally decided to jump into it and boy am I glad I did. I loved Sid now I need to know what happened next. I feel there is so much more to the Unsaints and their past and history. I also feel like there is more to Sid then anyone else realizes to about where she comes from. And although Jeremiah is horrible I still feel for him and want to read more about him to. I’m fairly new to this author but not the dark romance genre and this sits nicely with how dark it can get. But I do need to know what is coming next for all the characters. This story will defiantly keep you engaged and wanting more.
I love a good dark read and this book exceeded all of my expectations!
It sucked me in from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down.
The men in this book – you don’t know whether you love them or hate them. But they make you want them all.
One crazy ride!
Bring on book 2!
Lilith set out on Halloween with only one thing in mind: to end it all. But it doesn’t quite go as planned- Insert Lucifer. & that’s when Hell truly broke loose. Lilith & Lucifer are only good at burning things down. And that’s exactly what they do. I was in love, pissed off, disgusted, frustrated, & upset at every damn turn. You’re constantly trying to figure out what is going to happen next and at a constant WTF state of mind.
I think my only reason does not giving it a full 5 stars was because I HATED Ella’s character and I think Lilith was truly suffering from a mental break down or something and everyone played on her and her emotions.
I have to say. This author does dark, dirty and delicious SO WELL. SHE FEEDS MY DARK NEEDS! My glass is overflowing with her darkness all the time! Where did KV Rose come from?!?! I have had these books on my tbr for the longest time and now that I am finished with book 1, I feel like I wont be settled until I read the others! That cliffhanger has me on edge. I just need to know what happens!
I have never loved characters more. I thought I loved Ecstasy but those characters have nothing on Sid, Lucifer and Jeremiah. Sid was so strong! I love heroines like her. I was pulled every which way with this book. There were triggers GALORE. THOSE ARE MY FAVORITE TYPES OF READS! AND! AND! I looovveee culty types and this had it all!!!!! 5 star book for a 5 star author..I neeeeed more Lucifer in my life. Best series I have ever read. Hands down.
She has one goal and that’s to end it all. Let dawn rise over her body with her spirit far away.
But then he finds her, and with that one moment everything changes.
Was she always destined to meet him ?
This is the first book in the unsainted series and introduces us to a deep dark and delightfully delicious new way of life.
This is a fierce and deadly read with true intentions hidden beneath many passionate layers.
She’s the girl who’s got nothing but her memories of her brother, and paying customers to keep her afloat.
He’s not someone she would recognise any longer. His heart is warped with death and vengeance. His thoughts full of darkness.
They are four guys who will change your life and perspective. They can be your ultimate fantasy or your worst nightmare.
Either way by the end of this your heart will be owned by someone. I know mine is!
I’ve not read KV Rose before and thus wasnt sure what to expect. I didnt read the blurb I chose it purely because the cover spoke to me.
I knew this was going to be right up my street and it was! I cant wait to be reunited with them all in the next book.
These Monstrous Ties by K.V. Rose was “forced” upon me by none other than @theinfinitereader.blog and I could not be happier. She has been raving about this book/series since it released and all of her hype made me want to read it so bad! She also gifted me this paperback copy of it and I’m so thankful for it!
This book was like nothing I’ve ever read! It was very dark, very forbidden, but so very good. KV did such a good job of writing these characters. I went into this book completely blind, other than being told that I better make the correct choice between Lucifer and Jeremiah or I’ll be shunned. (Thanks Mickey, lol.) After reading it, I completely see why she was so passionate about her choice. I’ll let you guys read to make your own decisions about what team you’re on. Lol.
Reading this book, I fell absolutely in love with the characters. Lucifer, Lilith, Sid, and Jeremiah had such bold personalities and made the story so incredible to read. KV’s writing is just so unlike anything I’ve ever read before.
As soon as I finished this book I quickly went and downloaded Pray for Scars because I had to continue the story.
I give this book a solid 5/5 stars and strongly recommend you guys read this as well! If you’re interested, they are all on Kindle/Kindle Unlimited!
Thanks Mickey for forcing my hand and making me read this. I’m obsessed!

This book was dark and completely twisted!! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
5 DARK CRAZY STARS!! My kind of book….I kept me twisting and turning with everything going on. Wow, I am still shaking my head I am so ready for the next book. This author held my attention with this Dark crazy story….dark is beautiful.
Good read, immediately grabbed my interest. Definitely moved onto the next book right after. I need to know what happens!
I’m so obsessed. This world that Ms Rose created… it was dark and twisted and kept me on the edge the whole time. I was consumed within the first pages. The characters were unpredictable but I found myself crave their sickness. The moments I held my breath? Too many to count. This book hit all my notes in the romance department, plot wise… EVERYTHING. I can’t seem to find the proper words to describe this bloody and wild ride that you do not want to miss. TOP READ of 2020!
