Never saw the ending coming! Thank you for keeping me on my toes the entire time.
So well written, “real” characters a reader can care about, an intriguing plot, and a feisty old lady – what more could a reader ask for? One of the things I liked best about this story is that the situations the characters found themselves in were real – a dying alcoholic mother, a not so perfect sisterly relationship, a flawed boyfriend, a shady …
I was enjoying it so much that I didn’t want to stop reading it! Funny happenings and intriguing! Recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery with funny happenings.
It wasn’t my usual genre, but thoroughly enjoyed this story.
This was an enjoyable story that took me away from the daily routine.
I loved this book, and I hated reading it. I told my sister about it this morning. Loved Evie and Mina, Ginger was ok, hated Brian and Frank and Finn was too good to be true.
Elderly widows who own homes on Higgs Point are getting senile and dying, suddenly. When Evie’s mom is hospitalized, she goes to check on the house, which the health …
Wonderful read!! I could not put it down.
A story that kept me intrigued until the very end. I actually could not put the book down. A surprise ending that I did not see coming. Thank you for this delightful book.
Page-turning yet moving tale builds to a stunning resolution.
Good story. Love tales about older ladies who know their mind and don’t hold back.
Too predictable
I really enjoyed this book. Not the run of the mill.
This was a sweet read
I liked the characters but found it prdictable
Kind of predictable, but I did read the whole thing. It seemed to kind of fall apart at the end, but it wasn’t irritating. Just felt kind of rushed. Like it would’ve been better if the author took another month on the ending.
This book was an okay read. I wasn’t able to stay interested enough in it to finish it in a couple of days. Some others may enjoy it more.
Couldn’t get into it. Gave up, which I rarely do, after about 60 pages.
This was a pretty entertaining book. It’s not going to win any big awards, but a good read.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed and the plot was original and I will look for other books by this author.
