A leather-bound journal. A single father. A woman in pursuit of freedom.Garner Bradford, heir to the troubled Bradford Shipping empire, doesn’t know much about babies. But he’s going to have to learn fast because he’s just become a single father to his newborn daughter. As he confesses through his journal entries, he’s not entirely sure how to keep a newborn alive, whether or not he’ll ever patch … ever patch together his shattered heart, or how to forgive himself for his mistakes.
Career girl Kathleen Burke is wholly uninterested in settling down. She has big dreams, and none of them include Garner and his small hometown in Washington State. Yet she can’t seem to get her handsome boss out of her head or her heart. There’s something extraordinarily tempting about his beautifully sad green eyes. . . .
Told through journal entries, phone conversations, and letters, Then Came You is a unique, heart-stirring romance novella by acclaimed author Becky Wade.

Short, easy read romance.
This is a WONDERFUL book! Any book written by Becky Wade is a book that I want to purchase, read and then share with other friends.
Great book. Hard to put down.
Kept the pages turning!
Short and to the point. Characters were not that interesting and everything turned out just fine for the main male character. After three wives he finally got it right and all was well. Yawn. Yawn.
The gaps toward the end were too great. We didn’t get to see the wedding or any life activities after the admission of love. I liked the format, though. I also liked the “cleanness” of the book. I wouldn’t have finished it otherwise.
It dragged and was hard to get into.
I found it hard to maintain interest in the story line. I kept reading thinking I would get to the main story but I finally gave up.
This book was original in the way it was written. In between telling the story there are letters written, text and emails that keep you updated as if it’s current day. There is points where you feel like you are in the story. Points where you want to cry and others where you want to Cheer. At the end you are ready for the next book in the series.
Great format for communicating a romance. Put me in mind of the old Daddy Long Legs book by Jean Webster. Fun and funny, but the journal/note/message format allows the author to be very real in communicating the characters feelings and flaws. I loved the book. Short, but engaging. Will definitely read again.
Quick read. Love how it is written from many perspectives.
One of the saddest book.i have read ina while. But lt came out he found happiness..
I liked the fact that the book was written in the third person. You got to read each character’s diary entry. Fun, sweet book.
Loved this book. Great read!
Sweet little story. As this is the prequel to a series, it Sets up some history of each heroine.
Unbelievable story of human frailty, temptation, consequences, tragedy and redemption. Of the intensity of young love, sin and betrayal . . . And ultimately the beauty and depth of long-awaited, God-given romantic love. Can’t wait for the rest of this series. Becky Wade is amazing
Loved the book and the wonderful characters. Very entertaining.
