A leather-bound journal. A single father. A woman in pursuit of freedom.Garner Bradford, heir to the troubled Bradford Shipping empire, doesn’t know much about babies. But he’s going to have to learn fast because he’s just become a single father to his newborn daughter. As he confesses through his journal entries, he’s not entirely sure how to keep a newborn alive, whether or not he’ll ever patch … ever patch together his shattered heart, or how to forgive himself for his mistakes.
Career girl Kathleen Burke is wholly uninterested in settling down. She has big dreams, and none of them include Garner and his small hometown in Washington State. Yet she can’t seem to get her handsome boss out of her head or her heart. There’s something extraordinarily tempting about his beautifully sad green eyes. . . .
Told through journal entries, phone conversations, and letters, Then Came You is a unique, heart-stirring romance novella by acclaimed author Becky Wade.

Kind of a slow read
Enjoyed reading recommend this book
Interesting to piece together a story all from notes, journals, and messages. While he story was interesting and original, and I liked how It was clean and the male matured, but the girl fell flat for me.
What a great book . Could not put it down, was so good.
Loved this book. Love this author .
this was a wonderful read. Very easy and interesting read. really enjoyed it.
Couldn’t get past journal style entries and did not finish.
I enjoyed this book.
I like books that are clean. I don’t think a good book needs profanity or sexual scenes to tell the story.
This book does not support Christian values Read first few pages then stopped. Should not be in the Christian fiction category!
It was OK — not a page turner and too predictable as a romance.
Very romantic.
Enjoyed reading this book!
It’s been a “few books later” item so this is on which I remember to comment. A little “common-day” so not a page-turner nor action packed, as I remember.
This book was a little bit too happily ever after.
I enjoyed this book, it was written in an unusual form with a style I’ve not seen before. It starts with a young single dad at a low point in his life and details his struggles as he moves on with his life.
I was glad when it ended and the way it ended, I’m just not into reading diary posts all the way thru and not much interaction.
Good read. God’s grace is profound and the author gave a heartwarming illustration through this story of what God does for us even when we fail miserably. This guy deserved to be single, lonely, beaten down in some minds; not in the mind of God. He had a right attitude of repentance and taking on responsibility for his bad decisions and sins that could have paralyzed him and left two precious girls in his wake. But the author shows how God redeems a situation and, in this, case, rewards him with a woman he would really, really appreciate.
Loved the book!
