In Fate Harbor Love Comes in ThreesJosie Decker has come to Fate Harbor, and found the man she remembers all those years ago from foster care. Now just might be one of the two someones who can change her life.
Absolutely loved this, Ms O’Leary somehow always manages to write characters you love.
Wish Josie could be my new best friend, she is so strong and driven despite all that lift has thrown at her, she met Chance during a period in her life when she was in foster care, she meets up with him, and a fellow foster child who was with the same family but not at the same time, when she moves to Fate Harbor to open a new business and to be nearer her foster parents after her half sisters move away to go to university.
Sam, how my heart breaks for Sam, just want to hug all his hurt away, he went through a difficult childhood and suffers from PTSD following his service in Afghanistan.
Chance is the one who remembers Josie and works behind the scenes to facilitate her move
Fate harbor seems to be a magical place were more is tolerated and strangers are made more welcome than anywhere I have lived – boy do I wish I could live there
Another read you just don’t want to put down, it sucks you in and at the end leaves you wanting more

Theirs to Treasure is book one of Fate Harbor. It takes us into the lives of Josie, Chance and Sam. They were in foster care together with Betty and Butch Hutchins. Their foster parents. I loved these characters and their relationships with each other and the town folks. I loved that they each had their own issues and problems. Yet they are there for each other. Their chemistry between the three of them was intense and electric! The love they have is unconditional. Can they get past their own insecurities, baggage and fears to open their heart to a HEA? Get this book and find out! So worth it!

I received this as an ARC and loved it. Caitlyn took 3 flawed characters and showed us their journey to love and acceptance. Yes, it is a menage story but it is also a beautifully written emotional story that has you wanting them to be together. Caitlyn writes their coming together as much more than steamy sex, she writes it as a sweet coming together with love. She also introduces other characters that I am anxiously waiting to read about.

Caitlyn O’Leary knows how to tell a story and I think she did a terrific job with building the Fate Harbor world and breathing life into her tale. While I personally didn’t fully connect or feel as immersed into the story like I have her other books—it was through no fault or lacking on her part—I still enjoyed reading it and was hooked in to find out how their hea came about.
Josie was an intriguing mix of strong against everything thrown at her, yet fragile in her insecurities, many of which I could totally identify with and (in a twisted way) enjoyed walking that path with her to sort out her head. I also appreciated how Josie struggled with the idea of their relationship and wrapping her head around it because I was right there with her. That girl had some attitude too that made me laugh and shake my head at.
Sam and Chance were a bit harder for me to connect to. I liked them both individually, and I loved the way they fell for Josie, protected her, took care of her, and went all out to show her how worthy and beautiful and treasured she was. Whatever it is that makes me fall head-over-heels for the hero just didn’t grip me and pull me under. Maybe it was because Chance was a better shopper than me! lol Both men had their strengths and alpha-bossy moments which did melt my heart repeatedly.
I enjoyed the theme of kindness and respect towards others weaved throughout the pages. I also appreciated the way the intimate moments were shared – no crazy Cirque du Soleil acts here! The relationship the foster parents had with their kids stood out as a thing of beauty.
I tried something new and out of my comfort zone for me by reading this story and in some ways it worked, and in other ways, it didn’t quite trip my trigger. But that doesn’t mean it’s any less of a good story.

Can three people who all have their own set of baggage come together and make a triad? Could two men who aren’t brothers by blood but circumstance both love one woman. Could one woman who has put everyone else first in her life, let herself be loved and cherished by two men.
I know there are people who think books about three people are only ever about the sexy times. However, while there are steamy parts, this book is so much more. Each of these characters are fighting for something. Whether its something they know they want or something they find along the way.
Josie is a very strong woman who has had to put everyone else first and has had to be independent because she had no one to lean on. After her childhood, she knows that they only thing she wants in life is for her sisters to be happy and successful, until she meets two very determinate men.
Chance is the happy go lucky guy. He is the one who is quick with the joke but yet the thing he wants most is Josie. He wants a family and he wants it with her.
Sam broke my heart. He is a vet who is dealing with childhood trauma and PTSD. Both of these situations made him feel unworthy. He is much more alpha dealing with Josie, always correcting her if she is too hard on herself but not willing to do that to himself.
Reading about these three working through their issues and concerns at times was hard to read but also beautiful. You could read the love that these three had, they just had to find their rhythm.

Theirs to Treasure entails the lives of Josie, Chance and Sam, from their times in foster care with Betty and Butch Hutchins, to their adult years. As you read their story you will be touched by their encounters with heartache, suffering, pain, loss, self-awareness, self-doubts, self-discovery, achievements and hopes for their futures. As they reconnect they face having to open themselves up to each other and share their histories, fears, self-perceived failures amid other’s prejudices and with a growing love for each other. I found this book to be so gripping that I couldn’t stop reading until I finished it. Caitlyn O’Leary brought the characters to life with her creative writing that allows us to be a part of their world while touching on some realistic topics. I recommend this book and I received an ARC from the author in return for my honest review.

Theirs to Treasure: Happily Ever After by Caitlyn O’Leary is an awesome book. This is the first book in the Fate Harbor series but can be read as a standalone. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, etc. I had all the feels. This book has drama, heat, romance, ex-military, foster children, angst, each of the main characters have some emotional and physical issues and they all have baggage they need to work on, secrets. This book was a roller coaster ride that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading this book and I could not put the book down. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I can’t wait for the next by Ms. O’Leary. I highly recommend this book.

I first read this story when it was published under the Siren banner in 2014 as Trusting Chance, however Ms O’Leary has revised the story and expanded on some of the details therein. Theirs to Treasure burns up the pages with copious amounts of smouldering between the sheets lovin’, but it also delves deep into the emotional and physical wounds suffered by children at the hands of careless parents.
Josie, Chance and Sam were all once foster children in the home of Betty and Butch Hutchins extended family, but unlike Chance, who stayed for the long haul after the death of his parents as a toddler; Josie and Sam were ripped from the loving arms of this wonderful couple and returned to their abusive parents.
After many years of self-sacrifice and hard work, Josie has herded her twin sisters safely off the college and has now returned to Fate Harbor to start a new business. But little does Josie know that Chance has kept tabs on her through Betty, and the love of a little boy has flourished into the passion of a man.
Sam however is broken; and only through the brotherly support and love of Chance has he managed to survive the horrors of his past. Serving tours in war torn Afghanistan, has only added to Sam’s already battered opinion of himself and his conviction that he’s undeserving of love and happiness.
While knowing that the task of bringing the two people he loves most into the world of ménage relationships and convincing them that a future between the three of them is possible is going to be a challenge, Chance is nothing if not determined; and he truly believes that Josie and Sam have the power to heal each other’s souls with him along to guide their hearts.
I will admit that reading this story again after 5 plus years, left me with mixed feelings about Josie’s character; as I found myself annoyed by her constant overblown insecurities. I also felt her need for reassurance, but her strength and independence, were continually at war with each other. But what disappointed me the most, was the new cover. When this title was published as Trusting Chance, Siren clearly showed that Josie is a beautiful African/American woman, with a fair and dark lover; while the new cover for Theirs to Treasure does not reflect Josie’s heritage or the fact that she is a voluptuous and curvaceous woman. So, while I know this has no bearing on the story content, for me this oversight was unacceptable.
Theirs to Treasure definitely illustrates how much Ms O’Leary’s writing has evolved over the years, but this is still an enjoyable read. It will be interesting to see how Ms O’Leary’s dedicated Military readers react to this original ménage series that launched her career. I’m looking forward to once again reading Olivia’s story.

I love Caitlyn O’Learys military romance but this is the first ménage book of hers that I have read and I have to say it was the most beautiful story I have read for a long time.
Josie Decker, Chance Reynolds and Sam Booth have one thing in common they where all fostered by Betty and Butch and now that they have moved to Fate Harbor and Chance has followed them he sees a opportunity to reunite them. Chance made his money in corporate America but in his 20’s he had an ulcer and was well on his way to killing himself so he sold up and moved to Fate Harbour He was probable the luckiest of the three because he got to stay most of his childhood with them while Josie was returned to her abusive mother and raised her sisters from an early age Sam left his mother as soon as he could and joined the army. Now he has returned from Afghanistan suffering PTSD and with scars that are deep but not as deep as the ones his mother inflicted. When Josie’s sisters leave to attend college Betty convinces Josie to move to Fate Harbor and start a bakery (there is much machinations by Chance involved in this). Now Chance sees his chance fate Harbor is home to many triads and he knows that this will be perfect for Josie Sam and himself Can they heal one another’s wounds and do they have a future together You will have to read to see but be prepared this book is a tear jerker.

Enjoyed reading this story. Complex characters that you are routing for. You have heart, humor, heat, and an intriguing town and supporting characters. This is definitely more complex than you originally think. The main characters all have something to work through some more than others. Looking forward to seeing what’s coming next. I received a free copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thought that this was a really beautiful ménage romance. Chance, Josie and Sam are characters that will truly make your heart ache. They are all complex characters that have many wounds and scars on the inside and out. The well written story line easily grabbed my attention and my need to see these three find some happiness made sure I was reading as often as I could. As with any book that has been written by this author you can expect an engaging and entertaining blend of intense emotions, drama, heat, sweetness, splashes of humor and a whole lot of heart. This was a very different offering from the norm for this author but I loved it and I hope to read more books in this series.
