Rafe, who’s a light-hearted jokester during the day but dark and demanding in bed. Then Jonas and Henry and Gabriel, each bringing their own damage and beauty to the clan until, day by day, they begin to feel like a real family.
There’s just one little problem with the happy new family clan.
One of them isn’t who he appears to be.
He is a spy for the enemy.
Will Shay and the township be doomed before she and her husbands have a chance at lasting happiness?
NOTE: This book contains some dark elements and covers sensitive topics. Any reader that feels they shouldn’t venture into this apocalyptic world of sometimes harsh realities should please consider before reading.
This is a standalone novel in the now complete Marriage Raffle Series. Books in the series include:
Theirs to Protect
Theirs to Pleasure
Theirs to Wed
Theirs to Defy
Theirs to Ransom
more
Action. Adventure. Drama. Romance. Intrigue. Mystery. Anger, Betrayal, Gritty, Hate, Love, Sorrow. All these elements were well put together in the telling of this long read. Even though this is a lengthy read, there are enough happenings and interchanges between characters to ensnare the reader and become invested in knowing the outcome of the story. Very sexually explicit scenes but played out well within the context of the story. The main characters have an exceedingly unusual living arrangement but over time they make it work and form a very strong bond between them all. Lots of emotions parlayed that were very thoughtfully presented. A complex story line but still a highly recommended read.

Theirs To Pleasure is book two in the Marriage Lottery Series and begins where book one, Theirs To Protect left off. The author has created a dystopia world where the men outnumber women and only the strong survive. A well written, captivating story, great characters and twists that kept me turning the pages make this a 5 star read.
This was a great story with a great storyline and great characters to read about plus lots of hooot and spicy s*x.So if you like more than 1 partner and all males then enjoy this book
Please note the trigger warnings in the description. This book is not for everybody and much of the content falls into a trigger category. The romance is polyamorous and kinky with some bdsm. The bulk of the story is focused on the complicated relationships between the main characters. These characters are complex, and some of their backstories are seriously messed up. Along with the steamy bedroom scenes, there are secrets and the fear of betrayal. I felt like the flashbacks, while interesting, were a little heavily used.
A futuristic time when almost all women are killed by a virus. Shay has been through so much abuse when she meets Charlie at a processing facility. Charlie is a prisoner and looking for his sister. Charlie and Shay escape. They end up in a town where the women are auctioned off in a lottery to five husbands. This story has so many interesting twists and turns. I enjoyed the different point of views from each character. A good flow for the plot and dynamic characters make this story shine.

What an interesting take on life after an Armageddon event. Apparently a virus went through wiping out most of the women and after that there were some bombings. The survivors are pretty much grouped together in different types of settlements all following different rules. Shay helps release a prisoner and the two of them end up in a place where each women is put into a marriage lottery where five husbands are chosen for her to from a clan. The problem is that Shay and her men all have secrets that they will have to overcome before they can even dream of their HEA. In a world this messed up that can include all kinds of messed up stuff. I was definitely surprised on every page I must say so the writing will keep you hooked until the last page. If any of the above sounds like your cup of tea then this book is probably for you. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Stasia Black has penned another impossible to put down tale set in Jacob’s Well, TX. This time the story starts with Charlie, Audrey’s brother from the previous book, and focuses on Shay, the woman who helps him get back to Audrey. Shay joins the marriage lottery and she and her spouses get to know one another. Although be careful – this book can definitely cause you to stay up after your bedtime. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone although I recommend reading “Theirs to Protect” to have a better understanding of some of the characters. Charlie, Audrey’s brother, has been found alive and imprisoned in one of the other colonies. Shay is the woman who is taking care of Charlie by bringing him food and water. The longer the two are together, a quasi-trust begins to form and Shay helps Charlie escape. They wind up in Jacob’s Well and this is where Charlie gets an education when he finds his sister and learns about how they handle the small female population. Even though things look rosy on the outside, the reader is not prepared for what is going on behind the scenes as all is not as it seems. This is one scorching storyline filled with steamy scenes, betrayal, and quite a few twists and turns. This is one book that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. I look forward to the next book from this author.

Shay was held prisoner and treated very badly. Shay finally escapes eight years later. It’s hard for Shay to trust anyone. Now that Shay is free she wants to make her own discussion on how she’s going to live her life. That’s why she is choosing to marry Charlie, Henry, Jonas, Rafe, and Gabriel. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sexy second standalone addition to the series. Characters were dynamic with plenty of secrets to reveal. The plot had many twist and turn to keep me on my toes.

This stories setting is in future US. The country is not the same any more.

They have a lottery to choose the women five husbands. Shay does not mind this idea , and insists Charlie be one of her husbands! But can she really handle a harem?
You will love this exciting, suspenseful, funny, and scorching hot Reverse Harem Romance. It is a five star plus story.
In the first few chapters, I wasn’t sure that I would like this. But, I decided to keep pushing on, and I’m glad I did. By the time I got to the end, I really did like it.
One reason that I wasn’t sure that I would like it was I didn’t originally connect with the guys. Charlie was OK when we first met him, but when he and Shay escaped and they got to town, he was kind of a jerk. He was really judgemental about his sister and her chosen lifestyle. She was happy with her five husbands, so why he’s being all p1ssy about it, I don’t know. Then when he found out that Shay was going to have to marry 5 guys too, well, 4 guys plus him, he just was kind of a jerk about it. Eventually, we find out more behind his reasoning and as we learn more about Charlie, he really grew on me. He’s very young, not necessarily agewise, but world wise. He doesn’t have a lot of experience outside of his family, so of course he’s going to have some issues.
Henry was just… slimy and smarmy from the very beginning. From what we saw in his head vs. what we saw in the other guys’ heads, I think that he saw Shay much more as an accessory or statue piece than he did as a real life person and wife, even as he thinks that he loves her. I just didn’t like him at all.
Jonas was confusing to me from the beginning. It was like he was 2 people sharing one mind and body. It was really interesting to learn more about him.
Gabriel is nearly non-existent in a lot of the book, but of the things we do learn about him, we know that he loves his sons more than life himself, and that he’s truly a good man with a loving heart who is very conflicted about what’s going on.
I wish we had been able to learn more about Rafe, we just never spent enough time in his head to really learn a whole lot about him, but he seems like a real BAMF, who was there to kick butt and chew gum and he was all out of bubblegum.
I can’t imagine being a woman in these books. There’s some horrific things that happen that make the world kind of hellish. But, she’s a lot stronger than people thought that she was, including her.
I’m looking forward to the next book and can’t wait to see where it’s going to go and what’s going to happen with Eric and Drea, and the storyline with Travis.
A well-written story with some twists and turns, and secrets I enjoyed reading this book. This book can be read alone but to get more of an idea of what is happening in this book I would recommend reading book one first. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a good part to the series and I enjoyed it but they do need to be read in order and this one is not the last one so if you are not a fan of cliffhangers you might want to wait for the end of the series before you start reading. I enjoyed it and cannot wait for the next one.
The great character and storyline development kept me glued to my kindle from page one! This book was such an enjoyable read that it was very hard to put this book down to go to bed!
