I’m going to war with the bullies that have tormented me at the academy. It’s time to make Jensen McCauley and his minions pay. But when our prank war lands us both on restriction, the two of us are trapped together. It’s all his fault. It’s all his plan.Jensen wanted to be left alone so he could unravel the secrets surrounding his sister’s death. I’ve got enough to figure out. I have to make … got enough to figure out. I have to make sense of the on-again, off-again heat between Lex and me, my hopeless crush on Rafe, the sexy instructor who think I’m a human trainwreck, and the way I’ve ruined my friendship with Penn.
Plus, there’s the small matter of the demon stalking me…
But when Jensen McCauley needs my help…even though he doesn’t deserve me… I’ll help him find the truth about his sister.
It’s a truth some people are desperate to cover up.
Can Jensen and I not only work together…but survive?

So far this series is amazing. I love all of the different personalities and all the different perspectives that these books are written in. Normally books like these are only told from one POV and I appreciate the insight into all of the characters minds. The background story of not knowing alot about Maddie’s past and parentage is my favorite because it really drives the story without taking away from the action for whatever the problem is in each book.
Maddie just can’t stay out of trouble!
While the first month at the Acadamy is nearing and the students get off for a long weekend, Maddy finds herself at restriction. She is not allowed to go see her sister as she is nearing the birth of the awaited twins.
With most of the students away from the school, how much trouble can Maddy find, really?
With her and Jensen being the only ones left of their patrol, it should be easy to stay clear – shouldn’t it?
So little time and so much to do!
Book Two picks up a month after the beginning of the term. It would be best to read the prequel (Their Shifter Academy – I got it free somewhere) and Their Shifter Academy 1: Unwanted FIRST. There is a lot of worldbuilding, character development, and relationships that are important to this book. You need to pay close attention to the Point of View because it changes periodically. It can be confusing if you don’t catch the shift. Maddie is on restriction and worried about Piper’s pregnancy, but more concerned about finding what her father said via the necklace. She’s still enemies with Jensen, attracted to both Lex and Rafe, and has captivated Penn. A lot more back-stories of the characters are revealed. Then halfway through the book, she’s not enemies with Jensen as they yield to their mutual lust and attraction. Her team is well on the way to becoming her harem. A very surprising revelation about Silas. Then a cliffhanger ending that will make you want to immediately continue with Their Shifter Academy 3: Undone.
5 stars for Unclaimed by May Dawson. This is book two in Their Shifter Academy Series. I am loving the storyline of this series, and Maddie and her harem. Maddie and the guys are finally working together as a group. The best part of this book was getting to see a softer side of Jensen. May Dawson’s writing has a way of making these characters seem real. It feels like I know them and I’m a part of their story. This book for me was a turning point for Maddie and her group. I am pulled in, I can not wait to read book three.
Series review up to book 3:
My one negative is that Maddie is more bada$$ then that rape attempt. She has been through so much and been trained by her sister and her sisters mates. I understand this let her form a connection to one of her mates and see a different side to him besides his just being a jerk but it was a little off putting.
Looking past this I loved this series. It was a great spin off the Their Shifter Princess series and it was great to see glimpses of those characters in this one. This series mad me experience several emotions reading it and I loved it. May did a great job writing it out and describing everything. I could play this as a movie in my head. I would recommend this series and encourage others to read it. You will not be disappointed.
This book was amazing. I was glad to see Maddie’s relationships start to blossom. Can’t wait to see what happens between her and Rafe as well as Chase. As for Silas, that should be an interesting story and can’t wait to read more. The ending was totally unexpected and really interested to see how this develops and what Maddie discovers about her father. Definitely a must read and ready for the next book!
A thrilling academy RH read
Maddie, a first-year student and the only female at the Shifter Academy, gets sucked in to another stupid adventure, this time with Jensen, a second-year student and the Dean’s youngest son. As the story progresses the stories told contain lies, and as the lies unravel so could all of their lives. May Dawson’s Unclaimed is a thrilling continuation of the Their Shifter Academy RH series. The adventures of Maddie and her rowing pack of men keep me on my toes and at the edge of my seat. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens between Maddie, Lex, Penn, Silas, Chase, Rafe, and Jensen in Undone.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This series just keeps getting better and better. In this installment we get to know a little bit more about the other characters and what makes them tick. And the twists and turns that come about will leave you breathless and going what just happened. There’s a lot more going on than meets the eye. More secrets to discover, mysteries to solve and prejudice to overcome.
This is turning out to be a great series, one that once you start you will not be able to put it down! The storyline is growing and developing and is full of twists and turns, some you will not see coming and I am loving the characters and watching their relationships grow! This is a fab reverse harem academy series I would definitely recommend!
Book two really gets done to business. I really enjoyed it and was sad that it was over. I cant wait to continue Maddie’s story. I knew it was just a matter of time before Jensen and her got along. But I am extremely looking forward to Rafe!
Oh, wow! Talk about intense! There were a lot of twists to this story. Good and not so good. The best was what happened when Maddie used her pendant to call her family. Didn’t see that coming! It was fascinating to see the backgrounds the guys came from. I enjoyed reading this immensely!
*Spoiler Alert*
Maddie (FMC) against her better judgement teams up with her bully Jensen to help him discover what happened to his sister Eliza. A truth that lots of people as well as witches (the bad guys) dont want getting out. Whilst the others – Rafe, lex, Penn, Tyson, Chase and Silas go home for the weekend. facing their families might not be the home coming they’d all hope for though. This book has certainly upped the action and it was definitely more fast paced too. Just an absolutely brilliant read. WTH was that ending though??? Still struggling to work that out? Hopefully book 3 will clear that one up?
Wow! This book rocks! I am really enjoying this series and I cannot wait to see where the next story takes Maddie and her guys.
I absolutely loved this book. There was so much awesomeness in this story it was really hard to put it down. I am dying to find out what happens next and I am so glad the next installment will be released soon. Though I enjoyed the first, this one was just so much more! I loved the evolvement between Maddie and Jensen (all they went through in this one) and the glimpses into the background of the guys that are shared – the pack life they left, expectations, and what lays ahead for them. It really provided more depth for each of the characters and a better understanding of their actions and thoughts while they were navigating the academy life and their involvement with Maddie and the others. A lot more things click into place and some questions are answered. The suspense, mystery, action, danger, emotional conflict, family drama, and sexy times hold interest and keep those pages turning until the end.
I love Academy books aimed at more of an adult audience as this one is definately has me hooked, I love the twists and turns and where this book has gone as it was quite unexpected. in some ways. The storey line is sooooo Good and very well written that you are certainly captivated and drawn into Maddie’s world. There is a good amount of action which does slow occasionally but this is needed for plot and world/character building. Just the right amount of sizzle and heat at this stage which i am sure will increase in the next book as her relationships solidify with her men (Yes Ms Dawson that was a request and a question). This is also quite a long book in comparison to normal for May Dawson but it was so needed in order to tell the storey to its fullest potential.
I loved this book and hope that you enjoy it just as much.
I have been curious to see where the next book in this series would take readers and it did not disappoint! Love, love the characters in this series. Maddie is going for blood from those who have treated her badly at the academy, but a twist has her working with someone she did not want to spend time with. I love how Jensen finally comes around and begins to admit how much he truly likes Maddie. I also love the fact that we get to see more of what is going on with Maddie’s family and how close she is to them. Her guys are finally beginning to come together as a group and it will be interesting to see where the next part of their journey will take them.
