The Hunters’ academy wants me to be their pet angel on a leash, killing on order. The demons want to use my powerful body to host the devil himself. What do I want?I want to protect my sister, my friends, and most of all, Nix, Cade and Tristan, from the chaos that follows everywhere I go. My path is marked in blood. But it won’t be their blood. I’ll serve the academy one last time, and slay the demons. Alone. That’s the only way to end this.
But it turns out Cade, Nix and Tristan won’t let me go…
If they follow me into hell, can I save them?
Will they pull me back from the edge and save me?
Their Dark Imaginings is the final book in the Academy of the Supernatural series.

I really enjoyed reading this series. I admit that at times I wanted to strangle Dee, I knew she had to work through everything.
This story and series is really good. The way all of the characters, storyline and everything come together is amazing. I had such a hard time putting it down.
OMG – What an amazing series with a brilliant end!!
Ok Deirdra really grows into her character and her wings and truly blossoms you can see and feel her growing into her responsibilities realising that she is no longer alone and feel that she has truly gelled and loves her 3 men.
The storey remains strong with plenty of action and angst and just the right amount of heat
I love Nix the most but Cade and Tristan are also very lovable and get over the obvious issues of sharing quite well.
Over all this was a really wonderful kick ass storey with lots of action, plenty of twists and turns so that it isnt predictable and really the only thing that matters is that its one hell of an enjoyable read.
All i can say is if you havent ready this triology yet then be warned once you start you wont be able to stop until you have finished all three books as the storey is sooooooo good, so you have been warned – set aside some serious binge reading time.
I absolutely loved the cross overs with the Wild Angels team – it really worked.
Please tell me that there is a Corson, Briar and Co spin off coming????????
5 stars for Their Dark Imaginings by May Dawson. This is book three in the Academy of the Supernatural series. Holy Amazeballs what a fantastic ending. It is amazing from the start, where Deidra is a little bit of a crazy pants all the way till the end where she gets her HEA. Deidra really comes into her won in this book. She is stronger, a little crazier, and more in love than any other book in the series. “Because if I failed to hide the truth for them, I knew they’d die for me. That’s what happened when I loved someone. My path was still marked in blood.” I never saw a lot of this book series coming. I loved how nothing that happened, was expected. May Dawson is a fantastic author and this series is a great example of why.
I enjoyed [book:her-kind-of-magic-a-hunters-academy-revere-harem-romance-academy-of-the-supernatural-book-1-by-may-dawson] and His Dangerous Ways: An Academy of Demon Hunters and Angels Reverse Harem Romance (Academy of the Supernatural Book 2) and since Book 2 ended in a cliffhanger, I decided to continue immediately with Book 3, which picks up shortly after the end of Book 2. There is a lot more blood and violence in Book 3 as Deidra and Cade are captured and tortured by demons. There is a lot more sex, too, as Deidra and Cade find their sex magic. Then back at the Academy, there is even more sex as Deidra, Cade, Nix, and Tristan discuss becoming a reverse harem (hardly a spoiler, we could see it coming since Book 2). Deidra starts with Cade and Nix, saving Tristan for later. And later comes with the Christmas holiday, as all four celebrate the Holiday.
Great book, it answered questions from book two and was just as interesting as the previous books, I do hope their story continues. It would be ok to end here but I want more!
Just when i think this series cant get any better the next book comes out and im knocked out again. Book 3 is no different. Jam-packed full of action (i struggled to keep up with it!!), wit, wise cracks, demons, witches, hunter and plenty of hot sexy times with Dierdra (FMC), Cade, Nix and Tristan. As well as family members popping up too. You couldnt want for a better read and i bloody loved it
Wow what a series this has been and although I am sorry to see it finish the ending was just fabulous! Fast paced this finale kicks off from the very first page and it doesn’t stop there. There’s action, drama, angst, fighting, love, some hot and sexy scenes and the characters are just amazing. Our female mc is kick ass, snarky and funny and her guys are hot and sexy and don’t let her get away with anything, they all complement each other wonderfully and I loved their banter and dialogue! A truly amazing series that I would definitely recommend!
This 3rd and final book was amazing. I am so glad that Dee and Cade finally came to their senses and made things happen. I love how she is so much stronger with her men by her side and she is realizing it now. I love knowing she has siblings and I’d love a story on Emily as she grows up to see what path she takes. I’d also love a story on Carson and Briar and how they play out. Awesome job May!!
A stunning conclusion
Deidra, the not a witch Hunter, and her band of not so merry men are trying to recover from the fight against demons back at the Academy. As the story progresses trouble continues to surface, a trap is set, and learning to trust each other could be a lesson learned too late. May Dawson’s Their Dark Imaginings is a stunning conclusion to her Academy for the Supernatural series. I get so lost in her world that I look up after reading only to realize hours have passed without my notice. I will definitely be visiting her other series to get more on the other group of Hunters.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Very intense conclusion to this action packed series! I loved it! Deidra is freaking powerful! I love the kind of creature she is and I love what she can do! I look forward to what May Dawson writes next!
