“Oh, holy mother of geeky heroes! You guys, this book is so delightful.” ~ Panda and Boodle Data analyst Cassie Howard may be brilliant (and, okay, a little awkward), but she’s worked hard to get where she is. She definitely doesn’t need some sexy new analyst coming in and taking credit for her work. Or the inappropriate thoughts that keep popping out of her mouth she’d rather he not hear. For … hear.
For undercover FBI agent Drew Kerrigan, computers have always made more sense than people, but he’d better develop some slick social skills in a hurry if he’s going to win over the too-tantalizing-for-his-sanity Cassie. Hacking their systems was easy. Now he’s just got to hack the one person in the company most likely to see through his ruse…

Cute and well written. I read another one of this authors books and there was a similar thread but the exterior story was different. He is an FBI agent sent undercover to find out who is hacking into a company’s computer system for nefarious reasons. She is their ace analyst and he is thereto help her. They are very attracted to each other but he has the secrecy burden as their affair continues. He even questions her honesty at one point
Predictable. Which I was okay with.
Loved it. Absolutely loved it. Great comedy and nerdiness and awkwardness. Just all the feels. Read it. It’s cute.
This was just an okay book……not great, but I finished it; so not a complete dud.
Cute premise and interesting characters
This is the first book by Kadie Scott that I have read. I really enjoyed this book. It was funny smart and sexy.
In this book you have Cassie, who is a highly intelligent data analyst. Drew constantly struggles to live up to her mothers high expectations. She is always compared to her brothers who are highly successful, smart doctors. In walks Drew, sexy as hell, highly intelligent FBI man. Drew is there to investigate Cassie on a high profile cyber case. She is his main suspect. But when their eyes meet for the first time, there is no denying that this girl will be trouble with a capital T. She is just as drawn to him as he is her. Will Drew be able to prove that Cassie is not the bad guy? Will Cassie lose her heart to him and then have it broken?
This book was such a cute, steamy romantic read. I absolutely loved the plot line. It was a bit different than most of the steamy romance books out there. I loved the characters of this story. They were invested in their roles and have wonderful charisma. I love how Cassie speaks her mind without her knowing it. It is extremely funny. Drew is so cute with his “how to” books for interacting with women. And OMG the sexy nerd jokes. Loved it! If this author is not on your read list, then I highly suggest you check her out. Definitely pick this book up. It is a wonderful read
* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review *
If you are looking for a light, fun read, then look no further than The Wrong Kind of Compatible! This is a fast read full of charming dialogue that will put a smile on your face!
The story focuses on Drew and Cassie, who are each quirky and awkward in their own way. They both feel a little off beat from everyone else, and as if no one really fully gets them. However, as luck would have it, it just so happens that Drew and Cassie are perfect for each other. They practically even speak their own language, which by the way is full of innuendo.
Even with all of the fun and flirty dialogue, I couldn’t help but want more. The story went by so much quicker than I wanted it to. I wanted to know more about all of the characters, including Drew, Cassie, their coworkers, and their families. I feel that knowing more would have made for a more dramatic criminal reveal at the end. I would have liked to get to know the characters and guess who the culprit was. Instead, the story focused solely on Drew’s and Cassie’s attraction to one another. Don’t get me wrong, I did love reading about their relationship, but the crime buff in me just wanted more about the cyber crime component of the story.
Despite me being left with wanting more, I still enjoyed this read! One cannot crack open this book and not find Drew and Cassie completely adorable! They are completely right for each other!
I give it 3 1/2 stars!!
