This story could have happen to anyone who had a child in a hospital. My heart hurt for all the characters. The story was tenderly written and all was not perfect, as is true in life. One of the best stories I have read in a long time.
Pretty predictable. Just an okay read.
The story slowly reels you in. Until you can’t stop reading.
I love the solution of the two adults came up with by getting married
Poorly written.
Very interesting w a happy ending
Twists turns and page turner
Figured out the ending after a couple of chapters.
Loved the book. The subject was painful, in parts, as it should have been. Really well done. I couldn’t help but think about this situation actually occurring and how difficult it would be on all fronts. Well worth the read.
Good book to read before bed, not too intense, not sappy. Well written, too.
I loved this book! It was an easy read. Touching and a happy ending!
This was the first novel I read by Patricia Kay. I loved her writing style. It flowed so easily. The plot and characters were so well developed. I was totally immersed in the story and did not want to stop reading to do my “real life” duties. I just wanted to continue to read to find out if this situation would have a happy ending. I was so hoping for one!
I enjoyed visiting this world so much and I will be reading other books by this author.
Dealt with real emotions and heart breaking realities.
How tragic for the people that this happened to in real life. I’m glad the hospitals now days are more technical in their skills at keeping track and having more staffing.
being a nurse who worked in maternity, the premise was weak. otherwise just entertaining.
Predictable
Sad to know this has and could happen.
I didn’t expect much but found myself mesmerised by the story. It was just a rip-roaring good read that I was happy to pick up again and again. I have lulls in my work and this was a great pleasure.
Loved the whole book
Almost impossible to believe situation but characters were interesting.
