A little too predictable for my taste, but an easy read and entertaining.
Its a beautiful story…
Erin received therapy when her mother died so why was her father against therapy when her life was again totally upended; and it was so obvious she was getting worse, not better without some intervention,
Way, way too many italics were used. Very distracting and very annoying after awhile. I’m not stupid. I know what you meant. These italics were used so often it just extended the length of the book but added little to nothing to the story in my opinion.
The Wrong Child
Patricia Kay
What would you do if you discovered that your child that you have been raising for 11 years was not yours at all? That the child you have been raising was switched at birth with another baby born around the same time by mistake ? This story is about two baby girls born in a small hospital in the middle of a blizzard. Due to the sudden death of the only nurse working the babies are switched. When one of the girls become sick the Dr then tells the mom there is no way possible this child can be yours.
The Wrong Child is a compelling ,beautifully written ,stand alone story that touched my heart and caught my attention right from the start. The characters, including the children & pets, are all well developed . All of the scenes and places are so well done that it’s not hard to imagine that you are right there. The only down side to the whole book was it came to a sudden end and there was poor editing. There was tons of words run together that should not have been. That was very annoying and very distracting. The plot though was full of suspense and kept me turning the pages. It was such an intriguing story that i read it in just one day .
I would have never wanted to be in their shoes.
I liked this book & it was very easy to read & get into right away. Interesting characters too.

Review in a Nutshell: The Wrong Child is average and predictable, but there’s something about that I, personally, just really loved and enjoyed.
Great book although it seemed as the key characters were overly lucky
Loved it
A unique story of infants switched at birth. Tragic in that one of the girls never gets to know her birth mother but romantic in that the remaining parents join forces to get the two girls a stable, loving home.
This was a very good book.
Predictable, but not a bad read.
Made me stop and think about how I would really feel if this happened. Almost too happy of an ending but worth the read.
had a different twist. It was a bit predictable but I enjoyed it.
I didn’t expect this book to be as good as it was. It was pretty well written, although a little predictable, and I enjoyed the characters for the most part.
Accidents do happen it’s a fact of life. What is important is that we learn from these experiences.
Well written, compelling premise: babies mislabeled in the hospital nursery during an intense storm. What happens to them? How do they discover the mix-up and what impact does it have on each one’s life? Fascinating to explore those family-child and parent-child relationships and how each is impacted when the truth is told. Makes the reader wonder, What would I do, if it happened to me or my child? Enjoyable flipping of perspective in subsequent sections. Read this one. If there is an audiobook, would be fun to listen to.
Engaging, but not really “surprising”. Could have predicted ending early on…
Very good writing. I couldn’t put it down
happily ever after because two adults were there for their kids.
