Gabby is one of the best friends you can have, when she goes undercover to check if your boyfriend is an cheater, than she definitely is an keeper as an bestie
I loved the bantering, the storyline and the characters and that Dane isn’t keeping quiet about what he thinks .
My notes ;
Main characters Gabby, Dane, Mia & Jason.
Gabby helps Mia out, love can work in mysterious ways, omg that scene when she finds out that she is working for the wrong brother… Jason the trouble maker .

I thought this was a good read. I liked how Gabby didn’t put up with Dane’s crabbiness in the office. I did find that Gabby was more the moody one than Dane. She was always pushing him away. I’m glad that they worked their issues out.
The Wrong Brother
(Perfect for You #1)
Written by: Amanda Siegrist
This is my year for reading new to me authors and Amanda Siegrist has joined that list. The Wrong Brother is book one in the Perfect for You series.
Gabby Stileano is the friend we all want. When she is your friend she has your back. When it comes to her best friend Mia she has more than her back, there is something that binds these two together and Gabby will always help Mia first. In this case Gabby has taken a weeks vacation to “pretend work” for Mr. Holloway. What neither Mia or Gabby realize there was actually two Mr. Holloway’s; the man Mia was dating (who she thought was cheating on her) and the second Mr. Holloway. It was the second Mr. Holloway who was mistaken for the cheater. It’s a bit of a story. The one thing that came out of the week Gabby spent with the wrong brother was she became very attracted to him.
Dane Holloway was a workaholic, if he didn’t do it the chances were high no one would get the work done. So when Gabby accidently became his new secretary and brought, humor, lessons in edict and a swear jar into his office and he actually began to see maybe he was curt, rude and impolite. Although they were small steps he did try to change, he tried to change for Gabby. It was on Friday (her last day) that the jig was up, the cheater was caught and Gabby left, leaving Dane realizing she had the ability to help him change.
There is a definite pull towards each other between Dane and Gabby and when they are alone sparks fly, little fires start and these two could easily set a house on fire. Their problems tend to arise when they aren’t in bed; history and old relationships tend to push them away from each other. There are secrets they both hide and the green monster called jealousy interferes time after time.
Amanda Siegrist gives readers a couple that would be perfect for each other but they both have to grow and learn to trust. She uses humor and angst to keep us wondering what is happening and will Gabby and Dane actually ever get past the roadblocks that are there and figure this relationship out.
If you want a funny and entertaining book, this is it! I literally laughed out loud with this book at times. Dan is my type of guy!
very good book
Awesome
Loved it!!!!! Absolutely entertaining…

I’m must be cursed because the one time I take romantic comedy I end up dropping it at 60%.
This book had so much potential, it’s the only book written in 3rd person POV which I had no problem reading.
It was nice and funny at the beginning, the characters were good and really spoke to me.
But as the plot progressed it felt as just another one of those romantic stories which I have read and had enough off.
Don’t get me wrong, the writing is great. But it didn’t innovate anything for me.
Gabbi is a police detective who is best friend with Mia who somehow manages to convince Gabbi to take a week off her job and go apply for a secretary position for Mia’s boyfriend and see if he’s cheating on her. Gabbi as the best friend that she is, does it and there the main characters meet. Gabbi is funny, big mouthed, says what she wants and has a swearing jar. Yes! I liked her just for that.
’ -. , , ’ . .
Dane, the hard working executive who eats, sleeps and breathes his work. He is a good guy at his core but had suffered so much from his A hole of a brother. He works hard at his father’s company which was passed down to his little brother to manage. Like What? WHY? NEVER MIND…
He’s hot, funny sometimes and he likes having Gabbi at his side.
. ’ . .
At the beginning the interactions were fun and cute but as the plot progressed I got board and started thumb through the entire book.
Most of the scenes were hot but the unnecessary darma over shadowed it and I couldn’t bear it.
So like I said I’m cursed and couldn’t get a break and fall upon a book for my liking. WHYYYY?
Just for Funny Gabbi and her swearing jar. Maybe I need one too, I drop sooo many F-bombs.
OH WELL, maybe next time.
Disclaimer- I recieved an arc for my honest review
Gabby and Mia have been friends since third grade, so when Mia asked Gabby to be her boyfriends temporary secretary and find out if he is cheating o her, she can’t say no. She had no idea until she walked in the tour what was in store for her. A hunkalicious male who gets her motor running. I foresee some fun dialogue, humorous moments, and love, love love…except for…
She feels so guilty about her attraction to the gorgeous man in front of her, and all the sex vibes she is feeling. Does he feel the same way? And what can possibly become of them?
I loved Gabby right off the bat. She has a potty mouth and an ability to say what she thinks and get away with it. I love how Gabby dealt with him, and I can’t help but laugh at Champ’s reactions to her.
I immediately settled in for a fun romance and I am happy to say, there is no cheating involved…at least not on Gabby’s part.
I read The Wrong Brother in one sitting. It is an easy and entertaining read, filled with the sweet romance, a lot of smiles and laughs, and realistic characters that I have come to expect from Amanda Siegrist, and, of course, a happy ever after.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of The Wrong Brother by Amanda Siegrist.

I really, really wanted to love this book. The blurb grabbed my attention and I started it immediately…however for me, the story itself just didn’t hold my interest. The wrong brother part of the book was done in the first 30% of the story, and while I could deal with that, the characters were just a bit immature and made me crazy. There were moments that felt unfinished and somewhat rushed. I am intrigued by the story lines for the side characters.

This is book #1 of the Perfect for You series, but can be read as a standalone.
MY THOUGHTS
Fun entertainment!!!
I have to say the title of the book hooked me. When I say that title, I knew I needed to read it.
I also have to say that I’ve enjoyed this story, but I would have liked more, if the plot that is mentioned in the blurb wouldn’t have been finished so early in the book.
This book started as a romantic comedy, but took a turn about 30 or 35% or the book and it just became contemporary romance.
I guess I loved the concept of the book, but I got lost a few times with the turn it took.
Good romance!
25.5/35 STARS – 3.5 STARS (between 24.5 stars and 27.5 stars)
Addictiveness: 4 Character: 3 Cover: 4 Freshness: 3.5 Plot: 3.5 Romance: 4 Writing Style: 3.5
Action 2/5 Angst 2/5 Darkness 1/5 Humor 3.5/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 0/5
Would I recommend? Yeah, for readers of Contemporary Romance.
Would I re-read this book/series? I don’t know.
Would I read more from the author? Yes, I will be on the look out for the second book.
WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 4/5 The concept of the story was very catchy and the characters were easy to like that the reader became invested in the outcome. As addictive as pizza!!!
Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 4/5, subtitle 5/5, background 3/5 buy 4/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This cover was ok. I didn’t love the art ok, it feels a bit too sweet, but the title is fire and the subtitles add sparkles to it. I would maybe buy this book by its cover, mainly because of the title, but probably would need to read the blurb.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 4/5, development 4/5, steam 4/5 Really good love story. I really believed their chemistry from the beginning, their dialogues were fun and the smut was pretty good.
Writing Style: 3.5/5 Easy to like characters, good plot concept, great romance, good smut in a clean, cohesive writing. Good writing!!!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…
Character: hero 3/5, heroine 3/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 4/5, real 5/5 Good characters that were easy to like and connect.
Gabby was a good heroine. She was a good friend, a good employee and a good girl friend. I only wished she had stayed more fun, as she was on the beginning. She annoyed me a bit with all the insecurities. Some of them felt like a bit too much.
Dane was an ok hero. He needed a bit more of a back bone. He was a bit of a pushover and annoyed me sometimes.
Secondary characters In a sea of piranhas, there was no clown fish. They were all bad, but some were easy to love and connect. Ax was definitely my favorite.
Villain/antagonists In a book filled with antiheroes and dubious characters, I have to say most characters felt like antagonist for a few chapters. I guess there was one that stood out as a villain, but with some many secrets, we only figure it out at the end.
They were all about tough love, but lovable and somehow connectable!!!
Freshness: 3.5/5 Ms. Huss did it. She made bully romance seems fresh. It was a bit different from most out there. They way that everything kept switching, the archaic idea of boys and girls. It felt original. One-of-a-kind! As fresh as mint tea when you are dealing with a bad cold!
Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 3.5/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 4/5, opening 5/5, pace 3/5, setting 4/5, subplots 4/5, twists 3/5 Amazing opening with a good ending. Ok plot, with well written dialogues and regular pace. Great setting, interesting subplots with underwhelming twists. Good level of enjoyment!
I’ve loved the plot concept. I really loved the idea of the wrong brother and I was disappointed when this wasn’t the main focus of the plot. It was solved too early for me.
You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like contemporary romance; you MUST read this because it is good entertainment!!!

For once, I am totally speechless. The Wrong Brother has left me with no words on how to review it. Which is very odd for me.
The Wrong Brother is not only romance, boy is there ever, but humor mixed with angst. Angst usually is not my thing but there were only hints of it within the book that made it all that much better honestly.
Dane and Gabriella meet under the wrong pretenses while she is doing a favor for her best friend, Mia. What neither of them realized was that they would find something else along the way. Or will they?
Dane and Gabby both have issues they need to resolve and due to those issues they let it bleed into their relationship more than they should. It kind of makes drama that could have been avoided if they had dealt with it sooner but honestly, who does not love drama within romance? You want the guy to fight for the girl or vice versa. I know I do.
Amanda Siegrist has delivered a creation about two people trying to find their way within themselves. Both workaholics, one more than the other, and one with a family that is for the books. Overall, I think TWB is worth the one click because Dane and Gabby are the BOMB!
What a fun story! Gabby is such a great friend and I loved her no nonsense attitude!
This book had a good story line, fun characters and great chemistry. I was hooked from start to finish.
A must read book for sure.

When Gabby’s best friend Mia begs her to apply for her boyfriend’s secretary position, she agrees but doesn’t think it’s a good idea. But if Mia thinks Champ is cheating on her, Gabby will make it her mission to find out. When she is hired she can’t help but be attracted to the hot but rude workaholic, feeling all kinds of guilt for liking her best friend’s boyfriend. Until she finds out she’s been working for the wrong brother. For once in her life she’s left speechless and doesn’t know how to face him.
Dane works long hours and the last thing he needs is the sassy, takes no BS new secretary he just hired. Not only is she driving him crazy when she puts him in his place but he can’t stop thinking about her. Not until he finds out about her real intentions for applying. How can he trust her when she’s deceived him?
Gabby and Dane are fantastic together. She makes him see there’s life outside of the office and that he needs to put himself first over his selfish family. He hates liars and Gabby has a hard time believing he’s forgiven her, which causes some hiccups and misunderstandings along the way. A great first book to a new series!
I really enjoyed reading The Wrong Brother by Amanda Siegrist. I loved that Gabby is an Independent woman that isn’t afraid to put a man in his place. Gabby and Mia are best friends, and Gabby will do almost anything for her. Mia is worried that her boyfriend Champ is cheating on her, so she asks Gabby to go undercover and find out if it is true. Gabby gets hired on as a temporary secretary to work with Dane, which is the wrong brother, and has a instant attraction to him. Dane is a crabby guy that is a workaholic, but after hiring Gabby he likes the way they work together and starts having feelings for her. I recommend you read this book.
I received a free ARC copy for an honest and voluntary review.
Perfect for You series started off amazing!!! The Wrong Brother had me addicted to the words and the characters. I did not expect this story. I love when a book has me at hello! I loved these characters dearly and the story line was fun, flirty, insta, and dramatic all rolled up deliciously. I love how we got the wrong brother because he became so right through and through. The end had me over the moon with a huge smile on my face.
I love books by Amanda Siegrist, but The Wrong Brother was light and made you feel good. This is the perfect book to get lost into!
Gabby is Mia’s best friend and she would do anything for her, including spying on Mia’s boyfriend to see if he was cheating on Mia. Gabby goes under cover and gets hired on as a secretary at Champ’s office, where she spends the week trying to find dirt on him, only to find out that she’d been working for his brother Dane.
Meanwhile, Dane tries to fight his attraction to his new secretary, until he finds out the truth as to why Gabby is really there.
This was a fun read and there is great chemistry between Gabby and Dane.
I highly recommend it.
This was a good enjoyable read! I knew from the blurb that this was going to be a good one. I loved the humor. It was one of my favorite parts of the book. I would want to be friends with Gabby. She loves Christmas enough it could be a deal breaker, loves baseball, and she swears a lot. she sounds like my kind of person. Best laid plans concocted with friends don’t go they way they anticipated. I loved Gabby and Dane. The way Gabby brings light and fun to Dane’s life is beautiful. They balance one another out. This is an easy read to get into. It has plenty of heart and feels for my romantic heart. Nice kick off to a new series!
This was such a fun book with lots of humor and romance ! Highly recommend!
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely loved this story. It starts with Gabby agreeing to go undercover to find out if Mia’s boyfriend is a cheat. She actually is a cop and pretends to be a secretary to get the dirt on Mia’s friend.
She gets hired but she only knows that she works for a Mr and doesn’t learn his first name for a while. Meanwhile she starts falling into lust with her boss. A very bad thing to feel for her friends boyfriend…That is until she finds out their are brothers and thats when this book becomes so much fun.
One thing I found strange was that she never finds out her bosses first name. usually you type up memos and sign a first and last name. So for me that was something that stuck out. But the boss/brother/cheat only is the first 30 percent of the book. The book then has them get to know each other as non boss but two people very attracted to each other and also their is a heavy storyline of why Mia and Gabby are so loyal to each other.
Awesome story from a new author I have never read before.
