A billionaire contemporary romance stand alone from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde… couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

Kyla made this book a freebie! It’s a stand-alone series starter, so you’ll want to grab it right away.
This whole series is a must read!
I fell in love with Jensen, the man was quite sexy, “he took a step toward me, entering my personal space, and leaned in near my ear. “Perhaps we should take this conversation outside. I try to avoid impure thoughts in church.” Jensen does not beat around the bush, “I know it’s fast and that I have a lot to tell you, but I want you to be mine .” He reached out and brushed a stray strand of hair out of my face. “I can’t get you out of my head, and I don’t want you out. So, do you want to be my girlfriend?” I loved this book, I loved the Wright family and I cannot wait for more of these characters.
I enjoyed trying to see if Jesen would be the Wright brother for Emery even though she dated the younger brother during high school. The Wrights have a lot of drama and it’s interesting how it all unfolds.
Emery had went away to Austin for college and got duped by her professor who she thought loved her. Walking into his office made a life changing decision. Going back home. Heidi he BBF making her a plus one for a wedding she was attending. Dang it only if it wasn’t for Sutton Wright. Em knew them way to well. Landon her HS sweetie no she can’t go. Heidi won. But when Em say Jensen Wright her whole life was going to change major leaps and bounds. Was she ready for this rollar coaster. Was Jensen ready.
With so many great reviews and a nice book description I was hoping for so much more.
Characters ok, I think they were immature for 28 & 32 yr olds. The drama was a little silly and underdeveloped. I have no interest in reading more from Linde.
I also find it hard to believe that you would date, love and sleep with one brother than ten years later do the same with another brother.
Wow this is my first book by this author and it did not disappoint. Absolutely love Jensen and Emery. It was a roller coaster of emotions, the back and forth. The drama on both sides. But it is so worth a risk. Can’t wait to read the second book.
Completely mesmerizing! A perfect story with the perfect characters and a brilliant pace. This book drew me in from the start and kept me stuck all throughout. I found Emery fascinating, not your girly girl but a former tomboy full of life and spunk. Instead of being a cheerleader, she was captain of the hight school soccer team and skateboarded on the weekends. She never bothered with makeup and her favorite style of dressing is Vans and huge t-shirts.
Emery was working on her doctorate, found her boyfriend who was her thesis mentor, fooling with an undergraduate, broke up with him, withdrew from the doctoral program and moved back home, to Lubbock, Texas. Her best friend Heidi, an engineer in Wright Construction, invited her to the youngest Wright siblings wedding and she went for the free booze and food. Little did she know there she would meet the love of her life!
I loved meeting the Wright siblings. There’s Jensen, the oldest, and Emery’s future love. He took over the company at twenty-three after their father’s death, and also had to finish raising his younger brothers and sisters. This made him strict and uptight, a comment very frequently shared by his siblings. At the wedding, Jensen had a moment when he met Emery. He was gobsmacked! After they had a little clinch during the wedding reception, Jensen gets a shock. The woman he kissed was none other than his brother Landon’s high school girlfriend! Nobody recognized Emery because she was all fixed up and she’s grown from a tomboy into a gorgeous woman. And now Jensen has a dilemma.
Landon is now married to a tyrant money grabbing witch who ruled Landon with a tight fist and spent his money like it was water down a fountain. She was extremely jealous of all his exes and had a hissy fit when she learned Emery was at the wedding. Jensen should have felt free to pursue the woman he wanted but still the bro code was a strong pull. So we get to enjoy a story where Jensen fights his feelings, resents the bro code, tries to cater to the weirdness his feelings caused in Landon, and tried to help his siblings in all their affairs.
Jensen was very private and had trouble sharing his secrets. This caused several problems with Emery as she learned his secrets one by one. Very turbulent story!
Emery and Heidi have a fantastic friendship, the female equivalent to a bromance. They are completely loyal to each other, joke with each other as if they were lovers, amaze everyone around them with their wicked and funny banter. Anyone who falls in love with one of these gals has to know he gets a total package of lover and friend. There’s also Kimber, Emery’s sister, and her precious little daughter Lily, who thinks Jensen is her boyfriend because he gave her flowers. There are so many nuances to this book that makes it a joy to read!
Trust K.A. Linde to start a new series and totally draw in the reader, make her addicted to the characters and feel desperate to read all the books and find out each Wright sibling’s story! I loved this story, found it fascinating, loved both Jensen and Emery and all the Wright siblings.
Oh I loved this book so hard. It was the perfect mix of fun, angst and swoon worthiness. Emery and Jensen have so much in common and you can just feel how perfect they are for one another if they can get out of their own way. The friends and family are great and I really want to get to know them better, well except Miranda. I am really looking forward to checking out more of this author’s work.
What a romance! K.A. Linde is a new-to-me author, but it won’t stay that way because I intend to devour all of her books, especially the Wright series.
Prepare yourself to not be able to put this book down once you start reading, because you WON’T be able to! This book is addictive. All the characters – main and secondary – are just great, strikingly described and feel so real that I was drawn into their story from the first page. I loved Jensen and Em’s straightforward attitude, their chemistry and connection. I loved how they fought for their relationship despite their issues. It made this story feel even more real.
I can’t wait to read more about the Wright siblings and more books by this author.
Really loved this book and the whole series. I particularly love how you get to see these characters over and over as the books progress. It makes the series feel real and the characters like the family they are meant to be. Jensen was a swoon worthy character and Em was great.
Damn! I really enjoyed this book. The Wright family is crazy and complicated so there’s no wonder Emery was weary of being around them again. But things get complicated when she attends the wedding of Sutton Wright and comes face to face with her ex Landon Wright and shares a heated kiss with Jensen Wright. And OMG! I was rubbing my hands together in this juicy taboo dilemma. We all know its an unwritten rule yo do not date your siblings exes, but Jensen can’t stay away from her.
I really liked Jensen and Emery together. They both have some serious baggage and trust issues. Not to mention their keeping their relationship a secret for fear of Landon finding out. They just worked together and I liked that they were both aware of each others hangups and tried their best to work through it.
Plus this book has some funny moments and I really liked the other Wright family member. Heidi, Emery’s best friend is great as well and so is Emery’s sister, brother-in-law, and niece. I just all around enjoyed this book although Emery’s freak out towards the end was a definite eye roll moment for me, but I did like this book and am excited to read about the other Wright siblings.
This wasn’t what I expected when I stumbled over it, but wow. It felt different from a lot of other author’s works I’ve read, and that’s what I loved about it. Jensen and Emery were different than most couples in the romance stories I’ve read, I don’t know how to explicitly explain it, but they just were. 5 stars, 100% recommendation.
After Emery learns of her current boyfriends infidelity she re-examines her life and what she wants, both in a relationship and her career sending her back to her Texas hometown. Shortly after arriving she finds Jensen, and immediately feels connected to him. The only problem… he’s her high school boyfriends brother and she has no intention being sucked back into the rabbit hole by another Wright brother. Emery and Jensen are wonderful dynamic characters. Their story is a good balance of angsty and tender moments. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and will definitely read through the series.
I enjoyed this forbidden style storyline. Jensen and Emery had lots of chemistry from the get go. Throw in some twist and turns and you’ll be hooked until the end. I read and listen and the narration is great. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
The Wright Brother, book 1 in K.A. Linde’s Wright series, is everything I have come to expect in a good romance. There is just the right amount of sexual tension between the very hunky male main character and the feisty female protagonist. The sparks fly between the two and finally ignite in a firestorm encounter after a perfect date! K.A. Linde continues her masterful portrayal of the ups and downs of true love before it all ends in happily ever after.
K.A.Linde has a way with words that seems to transport the reader to whatever world her story is set in. Her characters are so well-developed that you imagine you know them as though you have been neighbors or friends for life. With The Wright Brother I was not simply reading a story, I lived it. It was as though reality faded away and for a brief moment I escaped to another place and time. Good fiction is like that. It allows you to be somewhere else, experience new things and meet new people, while never leaving your rocking chair. K.A. Linde’s The Wright Brother, is that kind of good novel. Well worth reading. I have already wish listed the rest of the series. I fully intend to get more acquainted with the Wright family in the future!
I like bed this book so much I’ve read it twice!
Jensen started off as all talk…then when he figured out how great Emery was…very entertaining, couldn’t put it down. Jensen was such the charmer.
The Wright Brother was the first book I’ve read by author K.A. Linde and I really enjoyed it. I liked Jensen and Emery together but they needed better communication and trust. Their relationship had a bit of drama since Emery used to date Jensen’s brother, Landon in high school and misplaced assumptions jeopardized what they had along with Jensen’s ex-wife. This story had some witty dialogue and I especially loved Emery’s friendship with her BFF, Heidi. These two were hilarious together and provided some much needed fun and laughs. This book had a bit of everything from sexy, sweet, funny and angsty. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Trust is the main thing.
This is the story of Jensen & Emery. Jensen is head of Wright Construction, one of the biggest companies worldwide. He is also the oldest of his siblings and raised them when his mother passed away. Emery has returned to Lubbock after leaving college short of one year of getting her PhD. Emery and Landon, one of Jensen’s brothers, were a couple in high school. Emery and her bestie, Heidi, are now going to Sutton Wright’s wedding. Heidi was invited with a plus one because she works at Wright Construction. Jensen and Emery were attracted to each other at the wedding, but Emery has sworn off all the Wright brothers. She saw Landon and he didn’t recognize her after ten years. Jensen didn’t recognize her either. He found out the next day who she was. This story is all ups and downs and about the challenges Jensen and Emery face. They falter and they rise. Can they stay risen up for the duration? This is a steamy love story with a lot a emotion. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
