Carly Holbrook and Brian Westbury are weeks away from their high school graduation. The young couple plans to marry before they head to college, and their future seems bright with promise. Everything changes one spring night when their six closest friends, including Brian’s younger brother, are killed in a fiery car accident that Carly and Brian witness. The trauma leaves Carly unable to speak, … speak, and Brian is forced to make unimaginable decisions about a future that once seemed so certain. With Carly incapable of going forward with their plans, Brian leaves home—and Carly—for good. Fifteen years later, disturbing new clues indicate the accident that wrecked so many lives wasn’t an accident at all, bringing Brian home to face a past—and a love—he’s never forgotten.

I couldn’t put this book down. Marie Force is one of my favorite writers.
I could not put it down. Excellent read.
Easy to read and action. Interesting plot

I’ve been reading all of Marie Force’s books for years now and don’t miss any of her single or series books!! She’s an amazing Author and you feel like you belong in the family you’re reading about. She knows how to draw you in to the romance or suspense of every book! She’s also a wonderful person having met her personally. I’d recommend her …
An Emotional Rollercoaster
The Wreck is a heartbreaking tale of pain, suffering, lost, and true love. Set in a small town, this is a second chance love story with mystery and suspense. It is an intense read, and may be difficult for some to read. A story of two lives that have been ruined by the loss of 6 others. A few surprising twists that I …
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy psychological thriller the wreck in the Beach Reads Boxed Set by Marie Force and this review was given freely.
Another dark novel filled with the themes of a tragic accident, survivors guilt, a serial killer/rapist and unplanned pregnancy.
Fifteen years after the tragic accident that killed four of his …
Wow! This book had All the emotions. It was tragic, emotional, gripping, on the edge of my seat nail-biter. And yes, I needed the tissues. I just might read this again.
What a remarkable book! The story is intense; the characters are developed; and, it was well written. I loved Carly and Brian and felt heartsick at all the tragedy in their lives. It seemed they were on an endless cycle of situations that changed their lives. If you want young love, mystery, police action and second chances, this is the book for …
Good book, spanning a good length of time. Characters feel real. A little too much crying from Carly, but a good read.
Marie Force never fails to keep you guessing! Well done , Marie!
I love this author!
Enjoyed it – many plot twists. Pretty unbelievable, but still engaging.
When I first started the book, I thought that I wouldn’t finish it, but as I read the story drew me in and I enjoyed it.
Love this author and this didn’t disappoint.
Darn good book (of course, anything she writes is darn good!!!!)
While the criminal was right before your eyes, Marie cleverly disguise the identity.
This story had me from the beginning and it was very hard to put down to read what was going to happen next. The wreck is just that, a car wreck that kills 6 friends and having the 2 remaining heroes of the story see the aftermath and knowing that they can do nothing to save their lives was difficult to read.
It’s story of loss in more ways than …
Provocative
I love Marie Force, but this was not one of my favorites. It was pretty depressing most of the time.
