“Newsflash. You don’t buy me, a$#%^*e. You earn me.” The bride is a doll. The groom is the perfect gentleman. But the rest of the wedding party? They’re the stuff of nightmares. Rich? Check. Vapid? Double Check. Entitled? Not enough checks in the world. And the Best Man? More like the Worst Man.But Maid of Honor Franchesca takes her duties seriously. Kidnapped groom? She’s got this. Rude … Kidnapped groom? She’s got this. Rude attendees? You just watch her handle them. So a Best Man with a big attitude and an even bigger…checkbook? Yeah, there’s no way she’s going to let that pretentious, judgmental jackhole ruin her best friend’s wedding. No matter how sexy he is. (Well, that’s the plan anyway…)
Aiden Kilbourn doesn’t do long-term relationships. He’s busy ruling the business world, and has yet to find a woman he can tolerate for longer than a month, two at the outside, anyway. Conquering the unconquerable is basically his bread and butter. And he hasn’t met a challenge that he can’t win. But Franchesca Baranski? This smart-mouthed girl from Brooklyn may just be his downfall.

The Worst Best Man by Lucy Score was everything I needed it to be and more!
Oh my GIDDY AUNT but I was swept off my feet from the very start, the chemistry combustible and the dialogue and camaraderie thoroughly enjoyable.
Aiden is charming and smooth and has so many layers and is utterly in love with a woman unlike any he has ever encountered before in his life.
Frankie is endearing and feisty and fiery and I adore her and her principles and gung ho attitude even as she partially might cut off her nose to spite her face.
The story takes you on one HECK of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey, and it is thoroughly worth it! The relationship is real and honest and true and gave me such hope. I adored this story and I know you absolutely will too!
P. S. I need a trip to Barbados, ASAP.
I love Lucy Score’s books! They are always fun and flirty!
The characters in this book are delightful and funny, and some deserve their own spinoff. I enjoyed Frankie and Aiden together, they had palpable chemistry that made their interactions all the better. I liked how they fit together, both when working to find the missing groom and when they were navigating the differences in their relationship.
I liked Frankie’s personality, but there were times where her snark came off as mean and a little childish. One thing that I enjoyed was that Frankie’s friends and family called her out on her childish behavior and helped her mature/see things from a different perspective.
This book gave me Pride and Prejudice vibes, with Aiden interfering in a relationship and the tax bracket difference between Frankie and Aiden. It kind of made the story more enjoyable thinking about the similarities.
Lucy’s books never disappoint. This follows the story of a groom getting ‘kidnapped’ on the eve of his wedding and the best man Aiden (I’m never getting married and enjoy being a player and Manhattans most eligible billionaire bachelor)and matron of honour Frankie, (hates Aiden with a passion for his cockiness) searching to find him on Barbados. This leads to a taxi journey around the island with an underage local boy who ‘knows’ things and how to get them done. The chemistry between the two of them begins to sizzle. Will they succumb to the passion between them? Will Aiden and Frankie find Chip the groom in time? Who takes him? This book pretty much had it all, wedding drama, humour, bitch bridesmaids and the obvious sexual chemistry. Loved it.
This is the third Lucy Score book I have read and she is quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE authors. From the moment you open one of her books your totally hooked into the story. I absolutely loved this book and will continue reading ANYTHING of hers!!!
The Worst Best Man has all the earmarks of a madcap, slapstick comedy: car chases, idiot bad guys, kidnapped grooms, ride to rescue maid of honor/heroine and a cool, calm, collected best man/hero…you get the picture. And that’s just the first third of the book.
I adored Franchesca Baranski from the first two pages. She’s sassy, straight forward, has a take no prisoners attitude, doesn’t play games or suffer those who do. She wants to valued and respected as a human being and loved forever for the woman she is. Aiden Kilbourn is a ruthless in business and in the bedroom, his only commitments or relationships are business related, he’s one of the elite but that doesn’t mean that he’s not redeemable. Aiden is completely captivated by Frankie and sets out to make her his own. She’s on board for a no strings, no commitment fling knowing his interest will wane in not too long. Only it doesn’t. Swept up in the world of the Manhattan upper crust, Frankie takes them on singly and collectively, that includes his family. When they both finally go all in, it’s definitely forever.
Frankie’s only goal for the wedding of her best friend is make sure she has the wedding of her dreams. Then the groom gets kidnapped and she’s forced to team up with the best man – an arrogant billionaire – to get the wedding back on track. Aiden finds himself charmed by the outspoken Frankie and resolves to find the chink in her armor, inside and outside of the bedroom. u2060

Irresistible to one another, they go all in and face a whole new ballgame. Frankie has to step into his world and Aiden has to learn to go at her pace. It’s a give-and-take with more than one stumbling block but the prize at the end – each other – is worth it. u2060

The Worst Best Man by Lucy Score is an adventure to get lost in. The situations these two find themselves in are hilarious and the book is one you will want to immerse yourself in and never come out of!u2060
Best Man.
I’ve been a fan of author Lucy Score since I read Pretend You’re Mine. The Worst Best Man is another beautiful book, this book will make readers laugh, swoon over Aiden, admire Frankie’s smart, hard working, strong independent and take no crap attitude. Totally unexpected but so worth it.
This was a delightful find! Frankie is the maid of honor at her rich friend Pru’s wedding and is forced to spend time with the best man, billionaire Aiden. They’re from two completely worlds, but they have to work together to save the wedding. I thought this book would end at the vows, and would have been satisfied with a hilarious romcom that ended with the billionaire and working-class Brooklyn girl declaring their love. But no. This story continues after what would have been a hilarious 5-star romantic comedy and shows how these two worlds would really continue to collide once the island wedding is over. They have to navigate her family and his tabloid-fodder lifestyle and how both of them fear emotional pain. It’s so much richer than I thought it would be and I’m really happy the author kept going. I enjoyed hanging out with Aiden and Frankie so much. I really loved how the author dealt with the vast gulf between their lifestyles and power. I’ll definitely read more of this author.
OMG! This book is hilarious! I absolutely could not put it down. I love Aiden and Franchesca are delicious together. The story is funny, sweet, and so, so sexy. I love Lucy Score’s books, but this may be my favorite.
It took me a while to get into the story as the first few chapters failed to hold my attention.
However, with perseverance, I got to absolutely adore Frankie and her open honesty, no holds barred gumption. An intelligent, warm, family loving, honest heroine who was afraid to lose her heart and get hurt.
Aiden also grows on you. I wasn’t fond of him using his money to try and fix things, but was pleased in the end when Frankie comes up with a business proposition using his money to help fund smaller businesses.
Witty , entertaining story.
This was one of the best books I read. It is romantic comedy at it’s best.
Ahhh this was my first book by her! I loved it!! I cant wait to read more by her.
Oh my word what a fabulously funny wild ride!
Franchesca is a sassy, smart street savvy gal from Brooklyn whose family owns a deli , has overbearing family and she is busting her butt to finish her MBA. She can see the light at the end of the tunnel and will soon find a job to begin to pay off the loans and debts ! Her best friend from college is marrying the man of her dreams but it is going to be a high society circus, a destination wedding . Frankie is the voice of reason while all of the bitchy, ignorant socialites are surrounding her best friend and the men …they are so full of themselves , looking down their noses at her. What is a gal to do …be yourself and take no prisoners. She can manage each one of these high and mighty social climbers except for the Best Man …the city ‘s most eligible bastard, i mean bachelor and he so rubs her the wrong way!
Aiden …he is stuck, his personal life is a farce , he is a commitment phobic , business is a headache and his family is driving him insane. The last thing he needs is a beautiful maid of honor telling him what for and not taking his shit! She is irritating, smart, and wants no part of him.
Why is he so drawn to her …let the chase begin!!!
Loved the banter, the sexual chemistry and watching them discover that each had so much more to offer than what was on the surface!

One of my absolute favorites!
This is my first book by this author. I kept seeing so many recommendations for it in the KU fb group and I thought I’d give it a go. It was really freaking good! Uh, Frankie is a true badass. I love strong female leads and boy was she ever one. She told it like it is and didn’t take crap from anyone, totally held her own. Aiden didn’t come off as all the great in the beginning, but he really grew on me. There was a lot going on in the book and it really entertained the heck outta me. So many funny moments, I was chuckling a lot. I will absolutely check out her other books, they get a lot love.
Loved this book. Great read
Lucy Score is a new author to me. I enjoyed this first read very much and look forward to more from her.
Wedding party from H-E- Double Hockey sticks turns into an unforgettable adventure! No, really, an actual adventure that they will one day be able to share with others. From escorts to bad reality tv, the comments and jokes are going to have you snorting, snickering, and smirking. There might even be a water spraying line or two, so watch your drinking.
The Worst Best Man is a title that is both highly appropriate and sadly can’t even encompass half of the awesomeness in this book. With a feisty, fiery heroine like Frankie, you know it will be anything but easy. Too bad Aiden took to long to read the memo…because by then, he was hooked.
It’s sexy and sweet with a whole lot of doubt, sabotage, and insecurity. A “gajillionaire” and a girl working two part time jobs never made it look so worthwhile! Not family, friends, or drunken idiots can take away from these two.
P.S. Dinner with the Baranski’s at 6. Don’t Be late or Mae will cuff you.
The Worst Best Man was absolutely hilarious, yet there were plenty of sweet and tender moments throughout the story. Loved the relationship that developed between Frankie & Aiden – she was strong and independent, and he was extremely driven and powerful. Over the course of the story, they both made plenty of mistakes, but neither could live without the other. And Frankie’s family must be mentioned – loved them! Thinking a novella or something for the holidays with them would be awesome!
I absolutely loved everything about this book!!! And thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It’s one wild ride of a story. It is the first book I have read by Lucy Score, & it won’t be my last. I adored Frankie & Aiden.
She is the maid of honor, & he is the best man. Their personality’s are like oil & water. Frankie & Aiden’s connection is undeniable. The attraction between them is immediate. After all the pickering,
& disagreements, they could not stop thinking about each. Frankie is from Brooklyn. Working, & going to college, to get her MBA in business. Aiden is from New York. He was born into the wealthy Kilbourn family. He is very driven, when it comes to business. The story pulled me in, & kept me reading, wanting to find out what happens next.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE!!!
