Wow! This takes the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder to new dimensions. Most of the book covers the years before her success as a writer, and primarily focuses on the horticultural aspects of her family’s farm life. Those into botany will absolutely love this book.
If you love Laura Ingalls Wilder, American pioneer history, & gardening this book is for you! I totally enjoyed it and was sad to see it end.
The actual historical detail that dovetails with the Little House series is fascinating for history, gardening and farming buffs.
Lots of great information about the Ingalls family and plenty of pictures too!
