Great read
Harlan Coben’s best!
Harlan Cohen is my favorite author. He has a brilliance that grand you at the very first word and carries you to the last.
All of Corban’s books are outstanding! This one was hard to put down.
Enjoyed this book very much.
kind of slow, forgettable
Excellent story…I love this author and his books are always great entertainment and fast reading!
Kept me guessing until the end!
Love this author.
I like Coban’s books. but this is the best I’ve read yet.
This offering by Harlem Coben is a departure from his hallmark Myron Bolitar series. The book proved to be an engaging page turner, with mystery, twists, intrigue, and romance. I am an avid devotee of the author and have read all of his work. The Woods is simply my favorite above all of Coben’s work.
As usual Harland writing is fantastic. I have read everyone of his books and have never been disappointed.
This was the best mystery I’ve read in a long time. Well-plotted, fast-paced, and wholly unpredictable.
Excellent book!!
Harlan Coben does not disappoint again.
As soon as you start this novel, you become emotionally invested in the characters. The plot is thick with tension and tragedy. It keeps you guessing until the very end. I fell in love with this book; it’s easily one of my top 5!
I love the dialogue and how the past and present states converge. The character development is deep and thorough. Overall, not a bad thing to say about it! Effortlessly done!
The story didn’t grab me at first, but the wise-cracking voice of the narrator did. The story did eventually take hold and I was zipping through the book like nobody’s business. Although some of the snarky comments feel like the author is trying a bit too hard, he does an AMAZING job at dripping in bits of the back story, adding hints of mystery, and revealing plot teasers in a manner that kept me curious and kept me guessing.
Great plot with terrific twist at the end. Very good character development. Hard to put down.
Wow. Love the writing. Love that the characters are all realistically flawed. That ending, though.
Coben never fails to deliver a good story, well-told.
