Sometimes you don’t know whom you can and cannot trust, but the worst thing about being lied to is knowing you’re not worth the truth. An alpha wolf and a reformed bad-boy bear find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery when politics, family and steamy sex collide on a dark and stormy night at the Midsummer Moon hotel.Growing up, alpha Karsten Holt was introspective and too smart for his own … and too smart for his own good, happy to let his twin brother play the brawn. Except when it came to Godric Bowen, the omega bear whose scent entranced Kai as much as his family’s ebullient ways turned him off. But now, Godric’s turned over a new leaf and Kai’s discovered his inner alpha-stud. They’re set to explore the strange fascination that’s always linked them together.
The dragons have called for a summit and all the forester tribes are attending, but once the lights go out, and they find themselves on the wrong end of a murder plot, will they be prepared to risk it all for the chance to be together.

Just the absolute best story. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!

The Wolf’s Shadow by Noah Harris is an amazing story that I have loved reading very much. This is book number three in this amazing series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about LBGT and paranormal romances in their stories as much as I do.

The Wolf’s Shadow is the third book in the Midsummer Moon seies by Noah Harris.
I like how we get to see events through Kai’s point of view. We see his betrayal from his stand point and understand how he was more a sucker that fell for lies than a true traitor with all the truth. Goodrich was an interesting character as well. There is some backstory there that was shocking. The story is a mix bag of mystery, drama, and steam. I really cant wait for next book.
Painful story. Pretzeled out yet? When people believe extremist views to satisfy their own pain, what happens when they finally clearly see their own truth? This is one of those stories that make you think of your teenagers when you read it. These grown powerful man shifters have the emotional intuition of a gnat. Sorry, gnats! What do we learn as we grow up? Communication is key! All species want to talk about how close they are. Their summit is to forge alliances and maybe permanent relationships. Yet, no one is honest open or communicating. Bad for them. Good for us the reader. Mr Harris, has woven a series that keeps on giving. Scenes from all perspectives of the guests is fun, intriguing and absolutely entertaining. Godric still suffering from a youthful trauma, in which Kai partially participated. Godric feels he owes Kai for helping him and makes a choice! So, I did not like the timeline back and forth style. It was exhausting. I understand the necessity with all the main characters, but exhausting still. It’s like Groundhog Day. The story is absolutely fascinating, but it is hard work. Mr Harris did an excellent job giving us characters we can respect admire and hate. Who will be victorious? Who will get their just desserts? Is an HEA possible? I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Okay, I have to be honest, I don’t really like Kai. From the beginning he was an arrogant manipulator. It was in a way amusing to see him FINALLY come to realize he didn’t know everything. But almost to the end, he thought he did. He thought he was right and everyone else was wrong. Kai never really did admit he was wrong and ask forgiveness of everyone he betrayed. The end to the book was not satisfactory to me. I wanted to see Kai grow up and make amends with his brother. Just betraying the Raksha to the foresters was not enough for me. It felt like more negotiation and manipulation when he really should be on his knees begging. The road to hell is paved with good intentions! That said, I loved Godric and his loyalty and faithfulness, regardless of whether Kai deserved it. He was steadfast and true. I also loved seeing the other side of the events that first played out in book 2. I was a little confused when Kai started to hook up with Godric since I thought he was with Veselko, but in the end he said that was just once. It was also confusing how/why Veslko was dying when his older and younger brothers seemed perfectly healthy. Regardless, this is a complex and intricate story that is well worth reading, BUT you definitely need to read book 1 and 2 first, in order, to understand what is going on.

So much treachery and misdirection that I couldn’t stand it! Told from the POV of the two most gullible and foolish men ever in the history of history I was biting my nails and trying to speed read to get to the end. Kai is definitely thick-headed and I was so frustrated by his actions I just can’t even say. Which didn’t stop me from reading. Seriously. I have never felt so immersed in the cryptic plot of a book.
Ugh. I hated this so much because I was fumbling around just like Kai and Godric. Which, of course, made me love it more than ever.
I do recommend reading the first one so you get some background because this place is a brilliant mess of crazy. And there are more couples to be paired so I am really looking forward to the next one.

I really wished I would have read the first two before hand but I honestly liked this book alot! Its my first MPREG read and once I got into it I couldnt put it down.
My heart broke for both Godric and Kai. Godric standing by his mate but torn at what he is doing even when it involves both his brother. Then there is Kai wanting to do whats right and get the answers he seeks wanting to know the truth of what happened in the past.
Their love for one another was strong, even when they had no one else in the end they had each other. I dont want to give any spoilers for those interested in reading but for me the end had me wanting more. I will definately be reading the first two now! Thank you for the ARC!

A kingdom, ruled by dragons and supported by shifters, is attacked by so called Rakshas, who want to take over.
To consolidate their powers the dragon king calls for a summit of all princes of the forest, who support him. All young and virile men, it seems almost all of them fall for each other. This story is about wolf-shifter alpha prince Kai and omega bear prince Godric, who recognise each other as mates.
The plot of the story? Kai falls for the lies of a wily dragon, uncle to the king and believes he is saving the country and his family by plotting against the king.
A good plot, but I found it a little difficult to read. I had the feeling that I missed some facts, which I got a little later in the story than I needed.
Still, a good story

Just when I think this author does not have any more surprises, he promptly corrects my opinion, so I am going to admit that I truly enjoyed this fascinating MM/Mpreg shifter romance. The story-line is interesting and well-written with intriguing plot & splendid background details, which keeps the readers’ attention. The characters are well-developed and interesting with distinctive, individual personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations.
There is: three bear shifters (Brendan, Alselm & Godric) are summoned to a dragon castle for a meeting & in attendance is two alpha wolf shifters (Matthias & Kai), dragon shifters, wolf shifters, various kinds of shifters, fated mates, twists & turns, intrigue, secrets, mystery, adventure, action, danger, threats, enemies, assassins, violence, suspicions, memories, attractions, deceit, treachery, betrayal, devious plans, emotional turmoil, conflict, confrontations anguish, despair, unexpected help, verbal confrontations, despair, asylum, desperation, some steam & sadly it ends on a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book in this series.
You Can’t Deny Fate, Mate!
Gah!!! Do you ever wanna jump into a book and smack folks around?!?! I swear I stay so dang frustrated with Kai! ** sigh… Ok lemme back up and do some ‘splainin.
What you need to know:
First- I personally think you should read this series in the order Noah wrote it. That way it will cut down on the head scratchin’ and “what the…” moments, you might otherwise have.
Second- The prequel will give you deeper insight into both Kai and Veselko, read it FIRST! Bear in mind, you will probably still wanna smack ‘ em around, if you are anything like me, but it does give you good background for their bit of “crazy”… kinda… sorta…
Third- Prepare for frustration through miscommunication, murder plots, secrets among brothers, lies, and lies by omission. These Men-Children need some timeouts and maybe a good whoopin’. Ain’t even kiddin’! As Pan’s daughter in the movie “Hook,” said to the misbehaving pirate, “YOU NEED A MOTHER VERY VERY BADLY!”
Fourth- This is a MM fated mates romance, filled with desirable scents, knotty goodness, and mpreg. So, if those things don’t melt your butter, this might not be the series for you.
Fifth- We still have some fated lovin’ to be explained between couples, so more books yet to come. Yay!!! Ain’t lost that lovin feelin yet!!! Plus, we got more butt kickin needs to happen! Badd guys be cray-cray y’all with their tight sMMexy swagger and swishy tiger tails bustin out their britches! Hawtness!!! Eh… I mean… Shameful!
Seriously though, if you are looking for a fantasy series to lose yourself in, this one is pretty stupendous! But, when it comes to Noah Harris, you’d expect nothing less.
On to book 4!

this is the 3rd in this shifter series, and i will admit i had a bit of a hard time getting into it the first couple of chapters, but i think that was just because it takes place at the same time as the last book in the series and so for the first few chapters it is basically the same book, just told from the other wolf twins perspective, but after that it really takes on a life of its own and there is tons of action, adventure, intreigue and steam as well as plenty of fights and loads of interesting characters!

I loved this book and cannot wait to see where this is going to go. There is mystery, love and steamy times. You will be on the edge of your seat with the action as well as the mystery trying to figure out what will happen next.
