Ancient curses…family feuds…finding a happily ever after can be a real nightmare for the modern witch.
DARKANGEL:
As the future prima, or head witch of her clan, Angela McAllister is expected to bond with her consort, her soul mate, during her twenty-first year, thus ensuring that she will come into her full powers at the appointed time. The clock is ticking down, and her consort has yet to … consort has yet to make an appearance. Instead, her dreams are haunted by a man she’s never seen, the one she believes must be her intended match. But with time running out, and dark forces attempting to seize her powers for their own, Angela is faced with a terrible choice: give up her dreams of the man she may never meet and take the safer path, or risk leaving her clan and everyone in it at the mercy of those who seek their ruin.
DARKNIGHT:
Kidnapped by a rival witch clan, Angela McAllister envisions a dark future for herself until she discovers her captor’s brother is the unknown man who has haunted her dreams since she was a child. Forced to re-evaluate everything she’s ever known about the Wilcox witches, Angela begins to explore the powerful connection that binds her to Connor Wilcox, despite the generations of hostility between their families and the disapproval of those closest to her. And when a dark, malignant force arises, Angela knows she must draw on her growing powers as prima to protect enemies and allies alike…even if her choice threatens to tear her new and fragile love apart.
DARKMOON:
One hundred and fifty years ago, a terrible curse descended on the Wilcox clan, dooming generations of women to an early death should they bear a child to the bloodline of Jeremiah Wilcox. Now Angela McAllister is carrying Connor Wilcox’s child, and if she can’t find a way to break the curse, that same doom will fall upon her. The solution to her dilemma lies somewhere in the past—her own, and that of the woman who cast the curse so many years before. Angela’s quest to find the answers she needs will transform the lives of everyone she knows, Wilcox and McAllister alike, and will forever change everything she has ever believed about herself.

Enjoyed the sisterhood and feelings of family warmth
Oh the things that happen when two powerful witches from warring clans find they are fated to be! A delightful read with plenty of “not too predictable” twists and surprises to keep you reading all of the three book set and going on for more. Not too heavy on the passion, the author relies on her strong storytelling to keep you eagerly waiting for what comes next. I have read the first six and am eager to start seven.
The first book in this series (Dark Angel) is a little bit dragging and lacks action because the reader gets more to know the character, her fears and dreams, but the consecutive books are real pageturners. Love, excitement, tragedy and suspense, all is in it.
I highly recommend this series for readers that like stores and concepts that are a bit out of the ordinary, and for the hopeless romantic’s. It is not an ordinary story of witches one would expect, but has a real modern twist. 🙂
Good books. Intense at times but really good. Angela went through so much, a good portion of her life was responsibility and pain. Had she been raised differently she would not have been able to accomplish what she did. She essentially made her own future by cleaning up a few heavy duty messes, made by others. She worked for her HEA!
I love books about people with powers that have dilemmas involving friends and enemies. This series had everything! It had steamy scenes, unpredictable twists and was incredibly realistic. I recommend reading the whole series!
good light reading that has a plot and good backstory
Loved the characters! Loved the whole series (interesting when characters from previous novels appear in later ones)
I was surprised that it was very well written. First one I ever read like this. Very entertaining!
I enjoyed the whole series
The end was anticlimactic, but it was a fun read. Unrealistic in her simple willingness to throw away everything she’s ever known for the man whose brother kidnapped her, consort or no.
This is a good book and would be great for an young adult too. I enjoyed the twist and turns of the main characters.
The characters were well drawn, with well developed personalities. The writer’s descriptions of people and places were very detailed. I read the series twice, and it kept me just as interested the second time I read it. There were some chapters that I read even more, because the writing was so wonderful. I finally removed it from my library because I was shirking my responsibilities to start reading the book again for the third time.
A nice easy and fun read. I loved the style of writing and the characters were so likable. Would definitely recommend. I had a hard time putting it down.
I found the main character weak and unlikable. The story was mediocre, and I found myself bored and not enjoying the characters or story a quarter into the second book. I would not read more by this author.
Books 1-3 were great. I can’t wait to read the next series.
Though there were some slow points. In all it was a good read.
More for young readers
I have a magical frame of mind and really enjoy this series.
Kinda boring, reads like a young adult book and basically no action or much magic. Nothing original but the author has potential
Really enjoyed this book
