It left you hanging.
A little too angsty for me. The main protagonists is full of self doubt and ‘why aren’t I good enough’s’ the storyline with the boyfriend she is dating just not to be alone over the holidays isn’t fully baked.
It was ok, the writing seemed too simplistic
I actually could not finish this book. It just did not make sense to me. The Hero was described as this alpha male soldier and yet he leaves the heroine after a bombshell is dropped into his lap about the paranormal with no questions answered, immediately after an exhibited abusive boyfriend just leaves her house. Really? I just couldn’t fathom why he would not stay, demand she answer, if not just to make sure the a-hole doesnt return. Mind you, this is after they are attacked and both are injured. So either she miscategorized the hero as an alpha or he is no alpha I could connect with and I put the book down.
I liked the storyline and the idea of a witch and werewolf in love. I really wanted to like this story but it just isn’t well written. The characters have no depth and the story was predictable. I felt like I was reading something my 10 year old wrote.
