Desperate to find a new author to follow,
I gave Mr Baldacci a shot. This was mind numbing, formulaic drivel. Save your money and your time.
So many twists and interesting characters. A great read which kept me captivated.
I love a creative plot. This was a really good/interesting read.
Anything by David Baldacci is a good read!
Not his best book
Just as good as any of his other books. I like all the twists and turns
I am a big fan of David Baldacci. Actually, he is my favorite author.
Have read twice…one of Baldacci’s best books.
Baldacci books are anything but predictable and always extremely well written and fast reads (as in, can’t put them down). This is no exception.
It just keeps you guessing whats next then another twist
I didn’t expect any of the high points in the book, and was glad the way it ended.
A great page turner!
Almost didn’t purchase, because of lukewarm reviews on Goodreads, but glad I did after reading. Definitely a terrific read!
It’s been a while since I read, but I love the author.
A thrilling read with an unexpected ending. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
This book started out with a great plot, interesting characters, and a need to keep turning the pages. I’m not sure what happened, whether it was LuAnn falling for Matthew or just that final chase that didn’t quite work for me, but I was happy to put the book down if distracted. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it, but it didn’t keep me hooked towards …
I liked the premise of the book. The main character is told what is expected of her and obeys for a while-then it gets interesting. Her decisions have consequences.
The first book I ever read by Baldacchi.. Have been a fan ever since.
Compelling read throughout, though end was somewhat predictable. Entertaining and provoking subject.
A good read, hard to put down.
