A captivatingly funny and deeply emotional new standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. When the Dark Knights at Bayside and the cast of Bayside Summers collide, sparks fly, and trouble—or maybe love—is not far behind. Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think … bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Their stories are told in the same loving, passionate voice readers have come to adore in Melissa’s other series. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them!

This was my first read by this author and she has reeled me in for the long hall. A Little Bit Wicked was an amazing read that pulled you in from the start. I handed my heart over to Justin in the first chapter. This story was full of strong family bonds, fear of heartbreak, smoking hot desire, swoon worthy “Wicked” men and lots of love. I adore Chloe and Justin. It was such a heartfelt journey to their HEA. I cannot wait to see where we go with the rest of the Wicked Family, especially Tank. This is an absolute must read!
A Little Bit Wicked is the first title in The Wicked: Dark Knights at Bayside series, but features many characters that have appeared in other series Ms Foster has written. There are a lot of side characters and at times it was a bit confusing trying to keep up with who was who, and how they were connected to our hero and heroine.
As with many of Ms Foster’s books this title has strong themes of family, friendship, love and community. What on the surface appears to be an opposites attract romance, it’s actually far from true.
Chloe Mallery and Justin ‘Maverick’ Wicked, both had childhoods that they would rather leave behind them. Both Chloe and Justin are loving, caring, compassionate and loyal and will do anything to protect those they hold dear.
Chloe is cautious, resilient and independent and it honestly took me several chapters to really become enthused in this story, and that was mainly due to Chloe’s character and her dismissal of Justin, due to his connections and appearance.
Justin is the adopted son of Reba and Rob ‘Preacher’ Wicked and a member of the Dark Knights MC. He may appear a little rough around the edges, but he has a heart of gold. He’s protective, flirtatious, romantic and incredibly sweet.
Despite Chloe’s hesitations, this pair are inexplicably drawn to each other and I thoroughly enjoyed watching their relationship evolve and look forward to seeing Justin’s siblings and cousins find their happy ever after in future additions to the series.
A LITTLE BIT WICKED by Melissa Foster is the First book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Series. This is the story of Justin ‘Maverick’ Wicked and Chloe Mallery. Both Justin and Chloe had terrible childhoods which has set in motion who they are today. Justin become a part of the Wicked family and the MC life. Chloe turned to working hard and setting her sites on never being involved with men who are trouble. Justin has his sites on Chloe but she isn’t seeing past his MC and the thoughts of him being trouble. But something happens that opens her eyes more to him which leads to them maybe getting that family they always wanted. I am such a fan of this author and can never recommend her books enough. Loved it.

So hard NOT to love this book.
The romance was all kinds of swoon worthy goodness and the plethora of characters that brought this world to life had me wishing there were more words to read because I simply wanted to hang out with each and everyone of them more.
I adored Justin and Chloe. You have two people who have had rough childhoods, and still bear the scars of it, but have found the strength to overcome them. Both have huge hearts and are simply good people who are loyal and protective of those they call their own.
Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. It was slow burn…really slow burn, but once they got on the same page, they definitely made up for lost time. I loved watching them get to know each other and how it only strengthened the connection between them. Their bantering was a lot of fun and the chemistry between them was HAWT. While there wasn’t a lot of angsty-ness going on between them, they both have their own obstacles to work through and I really liked how it made them stronger as a couple and individuals, and also made their HEA that much sweeter.
This book definitely packed a punch in a lot of ways. From the unique cast of characters, to the issues that Justin and Chloe faced in the book. As for those issues, some may be triggered by them, but the author handled them with respect and they were important to understand the characters and their growth in the book.
I als have to admit that I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t love the Wickeds as much as I love the Whiskeys, but that concern was totally obliterated within the first few chapters. The family vibe is just as strong and all of the Dark Knights and those they call friends were awesome, so awesome that it makes it hard for me to pick a favorite out of the bunch because they are all so unique, so alls I can say is, bring on the next Wicked!

Are you one of those people who just know when they pick up Melissa Fosters book that they’re in for a treat?? If you are then you know this book was absolutely amazing!!!
Justin and Chloe were amazing couple. Their chemistry was sizzling hot and I fell for them hard. Justin was a perfect mix of alpha and teddy bear kinda of man. I loved his protective instincts and his desire to make Chloe happy. And I definitely loved Chloe because I found a kindered spirit in her.I’m so in love with this group of people it’s not even funny.

I’m so excited about this new branch of the Wicked Family! The Whiskey’s are one of my all-time favorites and now with the release of the Wicked’s, we get more of the Dark Knights!
I have to say that Justin takes the cake as the most romantic Dark Knight to date! This book totally made me swoon and I loved how patient and loving he was towards Chloe. Chloe was definitely a hard nut to crack at first, but once she starts to give in to everything that Justin has to office, it was great to see her open up to this whole new world. That’s not to say that Chloe wasn’t a little badass herself, because she most certainly was. Justin and Chloe, once they started to open up to each other, found that they had a lot more in common than either thought they did.
This book is definitely filled with a LOT of sexy times – but hey when you have Justin Wicked in your bed … Well, I’ll let you find out for yourself.
Another great addition to this world of the Bradens that I am absolutely obsessed with!
Justin + Chloe = Couple goals!
A Little Bit Wicked is swoon worthy and will have your e-reader melting! This page turner will hook you in from the beginning. When I get my hands on a Melissa Foster book, I hunker down and know I will be loving every single page. This book was no different. I absolutely adored Justin and Chloe. I loved their friendship the most.
We get secrets revealed and learning self strength. You want to hug these folks and be a part of the Wickeds and Dark Knights clan. There were many many times that I could not stop smiling. The steamy scenes will have you overheated. There are some furry friends that you will fall for as well.
A heart felt story that will have you begging for so much more! I am so glad this is the first book in a new series. I can easily become addicted to these Dark Knights.
I loved every single minute of reading Chloe and Justin’s story. I wasn’t ready to let them go so I went back and reread it! Justin is a hot alpha with a soft underbelly and Chloe is a strong sassy woman and together they are completely adorable. This book will make you cry, laugh and swoon so hard. A Little Bit Wicked is chuck full of characters you can’t help but love, real life emotions that make you feel connected to the story on every level and, of course, humor. Every time I think I find a favorite Melissa Foster book she comes out with a new one! And A Little Bit Wicked is just that – my new favorite book.
SWOON! Justin Wicked is going to have you melting with his big heart and dirty words! I may have just found my favorite Male character from Melissa Foster. For a man with such a troubled past he has overcome most of it. Hes a bad boy with a dirty mouth but a heart so pure you’ll fall in love with him from the very first moment!
Chloe and Justin are two absolutely amazing characters that bring out the best… and the naughtiest… in each other. Justin knew what he wanted and never stopped trying to get the girl of his dreams. His Uptown Girl! Chole thought she needed a particular type of man. The suit and tie kind. But when she finally stopped fighting herself it was phenomenal!
You are not going to want to miss out on the Wickeds because they have wicked dirty mouths amongst other things!!!!
I recieved an ARC in exchange for a honest review
As soon as I read the blurb for A Little Bit Wicked ( The Wicked: Dark Knights at Bayside #1) I was excited, I knew it was a book I would find enjoyable and I wasn’t wrong, this story was everything I expected and more. This story was easy to get invested in, it has great characters and it’s life on Cape Cod an area this author describes so well.
Justin, a Dark Knight is determined to win Chloe over but when he finally convinces her to give him a chance the past comes back to haunt her, a past she is desperate to leave behind so when Justin comes to her rescue will she allow him to protect her or will she run for the hills …..
Two people trying to leave the pain from their pasts behind, will their damaged hearts be repaired when they open up and allow love in. Ms Foster always gives us well written stories and she describes her small towns so well but what she really gives us is the feeling of catching up with friends, of coming home and this book certainly does all of that. I high recommend to you read this gem, you won’t be disappointed. Great read and I’m looking forward to book 2
3.5 stars
ARC received for an honest review
We are back in Melissa Foster-land with the first book in the Dark Knights of Bayside series. All Ms Foster’s series interweave, so you will know some of these characters already.
Justin Wicked has been after Chloe Mallery for a long, long time. However she had friend-zoned him for such a long time, it was hard for her to relinquish that relationship for a new one. She has a preconcieved notion of what her ideal man should be, since she has never had that kind of man in her life. I hated Chloe’s mother on her behalf for the childhood.
Family is not blood, but the people you surround yourself with, and the Wickeds are the kind of family we all need in our lives.
As always, Ms Foster has given us wonderfully developed characters. I was drawn into Justin and Chloe’s story and wanted, no needed them to find their way to more
However, I did find that to me, this story did drag at times. The first half of the book was great, however the second half was a lot of nothing really happening but the happiness of them – I get this is a great thing, it just was drawn out a little too long for me, so it took me a few day to finish reading this story, when I usually don’t want to put a Melissa Foster book down.
I do need to print out a family tree for MF books, as they all interweave and it doesn’t take much t confuzzle me!
As always, at the end of reading I was eager for the next MF story. Until next time, Miss Foster.
The moment I started this book I knew that I was going to completely fall in love with it. The characters, the story and just the overall family love that comes from the pages is amazing.
Chloe and Justin are opposites yet there is just something about them that works. You can feel their chemistry from the very beginning and it only continued to grow more and more as their story progressed. I loved their friendship and the flirting at the beginning. It was sweet and sometimes funny.
Justin and Chloe both came from broken pasts, but have both slowly overcome those. I felt for Chloe, especially as her story unraveled. I also felt for Justin, because I couldn’t imagine experiencing what he did at such a young age. I love watching them come together and be the love and support they both needed.
A Little Bit Wicked is a story full of love, laughs and plenty of family moments. A MUST READ!
Justin and Chloe are so hot together. Both of their histories are so complex and it’s amazing how much they both have overcome. Justin is my new book boyfriend. I really would love for a man to treat me like he did for Chloe. Hope for updates their upcoming wedding and babies down the road in future Wicked books.
This story is so interesting. Chloe and Justin are sweet, loving and strong. I love all the characters and the story is so real, it got me thinking how lucky I am to have the parents and family I have. This book is about love, second chances and new beginnings. I love this story and the characters and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I received an advance reader copy in exchange of my honest review. I don’t like spoilers so my review is about what I think and how I feel when I read the book.
I have been waiting for Justin’s story since we first met him. He is a flirt and after he meets Chloe, his heart is set on her. I was lucky to win an ARC copy from Melissa. The wait was worth it, you just can’t help but root for Justin and Chloe and love their story. Oh and I so love all the Wickeds and the Dark Knights at Bayside. I highly recommend this book and any of the books by Melissa Foster.
Another wicked hit for Melissa! 5 wicked stars for this one!
Justin had a rough beginning, but the Wicked’s saved him and gave him a loving home, they taught how to get what you want in your life, now if he could just convince Chloe that he’s the man for her, he would truly have all he needs. Chloe wasn’t as lucky as Justin, she had a mother who stopped caring about her kids and only cared for herself, which left Chloe in charge of her little sister, and dodging the men that her mom brought home. She is attracted to Justin, but she won’t allow herself to fall for the “bad boy” she thinks Justin is. Can he convince her that he is exactly what she wants and needs? Read along and find out! I fell in love with these two, I have no doubt you will too! Grab it asap!
5 Star Review of A Little Bit Wicked (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #1) by Melissa Foster
A Little Bit Wicked was a book that I quickly found myself invested in and I had a hard time putting this one down. The writing is strong and descriptive and I could easily imagine myself on Cape Cod. It is a story of romance, angst, family, friendship and humour that left me with a smile on my face. Ms. Foster wove a tale that kept me captivated from the first page until the last.
I love the feeling of family, even if not by blood and I was intrigued by the blurb, a biker and a businesswoman, it just seemed like it would be an entertaining read and it was. This is Chloe and Justin’s story.
Justin, a Dark Knight, finally, after what seems like forever, convinces Chloe to give him a chance. However Chloe is wary after the past that she has striven to escape from. In fact they have both come a long way from the past that threatened to destroy them both.
When tragedy strikes, will Justin’s protective, caring ways bring them together or push them apart? Can they both come to terms with the past and in doing so forge a path to happiness together?
One click and find out.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
I have waited for Justin’s story and I am so glad it finally arrived. It was worth the wait.
Justin Wicked has a hard life growing up until he came to the Wicked family and they adopted him. Now he is a true Wicked and they are proud of the man he has become. He has been in love with Chloe Mallery for a while and he wants to show her just what kind of man he is.
Chloe is not looking for the bad boy type. With the kind of mother she had and the upbringing she lived through, you couldn’t blame her. She wants to keep Justin at arm’s length, in the friend zone. But after Justin and the Dark Knights have a tough night, Chloe wants to treat Justin’s wounds and learn about what happened. As they talk, she learns more about the man that makes her heart skip a beat each time they are together.
Will Chloe give Justin a chance at a relationship? Will she learn that not all bad boys are bad? Can Justin show her how he really feels? What will happen with her boss?
I loved this story and Justin and Chloe are perfect for each other. Author Melissa Foster has done it again and can’t wait for more of the Wicked Dark Knights.

5 fantastic stars!
Look out all you Braden and Whiskey boys, I think Justin Wicked may have just ousted one or more of you out of top position for my favorite! Yes I know this is a very bold statement, but this man is as protective as he is playful and sexy as he is soulful. Ooooo-la-la, what a man, what a man……….and Chloe, I adore her!! She is sweet but sassy and she and Justin are just perfect for each other. She may have been hesitant about that at first but she opened her heart and eyes and was able to see that she had nothing to lose and so much to gain by being with Justin!
If there is one thing I know for sure, it’s that if I want a wonderfully written story full of amazing heroes and heroines, heartfelt emotion, fun, family, love and just the right amount of passion I can pick up a Melissa Foster book and sail away to another world for a while and always return with a smile on my face and a full heart.
Justin and Chloe’s story is just amazing! I loved every single moment!! I can’t wait for Tank & Leah’s story.
“A Little Bit Wicked” is an emotional, intense and deeply moving tale of pure and everlasting love. The importance of family is at the forefront of the story, and it showed us that all families are different, and even if someone starts out with a rough life, you can be loved and find love again. Melissa Foster is a brilliant writer, with an exquisite attention to detail. She tugs at our heart strings, brings us to tears and makes us all believe in a happily ever after.
Justin is the perfect book boyfriend with his sexy swagger, devilish grin and flirty comments. From the moment he first saw Chloe, he knew she was the woman for him and he sensed he would have to work hard to win her heart. He appreciated her smart mind, beauty and infectious smile. Everything he did for her was out of love and respect. Friendship is the perfect foundation for love, and Justin was certain that Chloe would be his one day, as long as he was patient.
Chloe had always shielded herself from falling for the wrong guy. She thought she had a certain type, but when she closed her eyes at night, all she saw was Justin. He was always there for her but she considered him only a friend, until he finally showed her how good it could be between them. Justin was making it hard to resist him, but he never pushed her or made her feel uncomfortable. Chloe had a big decision to make. Should she allow her heart to lead her to Justin, or will she let her past interfere with a lifetime of love?
