A captivatingly funny and deeply emotional new standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. When the Dark Knights at Bayside and the cast of Bayside Summers collide, sparks fly, and trouble—or maybe love—is not far behind. Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think … bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Their stories are told in the same loving, passionate voice readers have come to adore in Melissa’s other series. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them!

If you are looking for a truly romantic story, this is it!
Chloe Mallery loves her job as Director of the Lower Cape Assisted Living Facility/LOCAL. She has come a long way from the scared girl who did her best to keep herself and her younger sister Serena safe from her mother’s constant parade of boyfriends. She virtually raised Serena. Her sister is happily married now but Chloe is still looking for her “forever.” She has a type she is looking for; safe, steady, professional, no “bad boys” need apply. Too bad the dates she goes on with the guys she meets on dating sites all strike out. But her mother never brought home anyone like them. It was always a rough, “bad boy” for her mother and Chloe has no plans to face that type of abuse again. She was not going to end up like her mother. And as nice as he was to her and as great as all the things he helped her out with that includes Dark Knight Justin Wicked of the Wicked Motorcycle Club. Maybe?
Justin Wicked had been adopted into the Wicked family. His mother committed suicide to escape his abusive father when Justin was just seven years old. At that young age his father involved Justin in his heists. One day the heist went sideways and his dad got sent to prison and Justin got sent into the Child Protective Services system. Fortunately after a few bad placements he ended up with the Wicked family. Their love set him on the path to the wonderful, caring man he became. Chloe Mallery considered him just a friend but Justin didn’t feel that way towards Chloe. He loved her from the first he met her and he wasn’t giving up on getting her to feel the same way about him.
A Little Bit Wicked by Melissa Foster is the first book in her The Wickeds: Dark Knights of Bayside series. This story has some slow spots especially in the beginning, so slow I almost gave up on it. But, boy, I sure am glad I didn’t. This story has got to be one of the most romantic love stories I have ever read. All the romantic moments planned by Justin with Chloe took my breath away. I fell in love with Justin. Chloe is one lucky woman! Both Justin and Chloe had difficult childhoods to overcome. The way they helped each other put the past behind themselves was heartwarming to read about. The sex scenes between these two are super sensual and the dirty talking adds so much to these scenes. The dialogue throughout this story was super entertaining whether it was teasing between Dark Knight members, brothers and cousins or the teasing and flirting between Justin and Chloe.
There are lots of secondary characters in this book and at first I couldn’t keep them all straight. As the story progressed they all fell into place. Reading about all the good deeds and protectiveness of the Dark Knights of the Wicked Motorcycle Club was fascinating. For a non-motorcycle club story fan like me this turned out to be a great read and I look forward to more stories in this series.
You can never go wrong with a Melissa Foster book, and A Little Bit Wicked is no exception! Always great character development and plenty of steam, snag this one now!
Chloe Mallery has lived her life taking care of everyone else, starting at a very young age with her sister. She’s never really had someone to look out for her. Chloe is looking for a man that will check all of her boxes. What she doesn’t realize is that Justin Wicked is determined to obliterate her boxes and prove to her that not all bad boys are bad.
A Little Bit Wicked by Melissa Foster is the first book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside. This is a spin-off series as the Wicked’s are cousins to the Whiskey’s. You’ll get another dose of alpha heroes meeting and protecting their strong soul mates. This is a delicious start to an undoubtedly amazing new series! 4.5 read!
WARNING: If you plan to sit in the sun, at the pool or on the beach, etc to read this book, set a timer on your phone so you can remember to reapply sunscreen. If you don’t, you’ll end up with a sunburn from being so sucked into this book you don’t move 🙂
While we met Justin Wicked and Chole Mallery in previous books, I was SO excited it was finally their turn. They’ve spent months dancing around each other and it was about damn time! But now we also get to meet Justin’s great big family, The Wickeds, cousins to The (oh so fabulous!) Whiskeys. Each one of them is a character in themself and adds so much dimension to this story.
This book has so much: a fabulous friends-to-more story, the beach, family drama, rescue pups, laughter, tears, and some moments that lead me to have quite the internal dialogue where I asked Melissa if she was trying to give me a heart attack. It’s such an amazing story and I CANNOT WAIT for the rest of the series.
The Wickeds are going to rival The Whiskeys for best series ever, and I’m totally here for it…
A Little Bit Wicked takes the long route to looking alot like love. Foster continues to step up her end game when it comes to matters of the heart. From pretty moments to ugly cries, Justin and Chloe pack more than a bit of drama as they tango their way towards love. The chemistry is off the charts. The emotion is real. The journey itself. Unforgettable. Taking a walk on the wild side proves itself to be wickedly, delicious.
This story is amazing. Filled with love, desire, family, and so much more. Chloe never knew what family was. All she had was Serena. Her mother was useless as mothers go. Her childhood is something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Justin also didn’t have the greatest beginning but once he became part of the Wicked’s everything changed for him. They were a close group part of the Dark Knights and they were family in every sense of the word. Chloe did everything not to get involved with Justin. After all he was a Dark Knight and part of everything she swore herself to stay away from. But she didn’t know Justin and what the Dark Knights stood for. Once she realized what they were about her whole attitude changed and opened her heart to Justin. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their relationship was so beautiful. Chloe also finally found her “family.” Once you become a part of the Dark Knights you are protected and loved by all. Her and her sister Serena now knew what love and family were.
Justin and Chloe’s relationship grew and their love for each other grew as well. You fell in love with their love story. Cheered them on once she “accepted” who and what he was. Also loved to see all the other members of the Wicked family. Anxious to know what their own love stories will tell and who they will fall in love with. This was the first book in this series and I personally cannot wait for more.
Where do I find a Wicked hero of my own? After a year and a half of friendship and flirting, Chloe seems willing to take a chance on Justin, but with both of their broken pasts I could totally understand her hesitation. While Justin might have initially walked into Bayside several books ago naked as Violet’s friend, it quickly became clear he would belong to Chloe.
That being said, after what he does for her on book club night, I was ready to crawl into the book and knock some sense into her if she didn’t wake up. Seriously, can someone tell me why the men in Fosters books get more amazing each time?
And I love that Chloe was strong, even when scared. We get to see how Chloe deals with situations throughout the book, from her mom to work, from getting on a motorcycle or hanging out with the “tough guys”. And when things come to a pivotal point, it would have been simple to show Chloe as a one dimensional character, but we get to see all the complex emotions and instinctive reactions that a person would go through in such a situation.
I also like how the memory boards and scrapbooks almost become a character, they take on such an important part of Chloe’s life and how she has interacted with people all her life, but even her sister is involved in them. And everyone looks forward to them.
Now I’m looking forward to the next Wicked story, and waiting for an answer to my question.
This spin off series was a great read to start the series with. Justin and Chloe were well written characters with amazing chemistry. The pair have a strong connection to their families as well as great group of friends. Justin’s pursuit of Chloe was sweet and heart melting while Chloe worked through her issues with relationships since she did not have a great role model with her mother. This story was both sweet and tender showing just how patient Justin was in his pursuit of Chloe. I enjoyed this story from the start as I have many of Ms. Foster’s other books and I would recommend this book to others.
Our introduction to the Wicked’s of Bayside is one fun, emotional, and hot ride in Melissa Foster’s “A Little Bit Wicked”. Justin Wicked is a man who has battled demons most of his life. He has learned to love, trust, and overcome most of those demons. Chloe Mallery has battled her own demons most of her life too. She has taken care of her little sister, Serena, since she was eight. She works tirelessly to make sure her sister and friends experience the best lives possible. Justin has had his sights on Chloe for a real long time now and when he finally gets his hands on Chloe he proves that he truly knows his way around a woman’s body. When Chloe finally sees Justin for the real man that he is, will she give him a real shot at proving his love for her? This story is beautifully written with strong characters who stand up for who they love and what they believe to be right and just. I love Melissa Foster. I have read several of her books and loved each and every one. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review which I can easily give 5 stars.
Justin’s story is even better than I imagined it to be! I love the Wickeds! The close knit family vibe is just what Chloe needs. He is relentless in his pursuit of her and it is so nice when he gets the girl! I also loved their additions to their family! So cute!
5 stars
Chloe’s childhood was spent raising her sister and fighting off her mother’s boyfriends. Now she works as the activity director at a assisted living home. Bad boys are not something she wants in her love life but one keeps flirting and trying to get her to go out with him. Justin has tried to be the man his adopted parents would be proud of. As a member of the Dark Knights, Justin takes his duties seriously and only wants one woman. Chloe. It takes a year and a half to get her to see him as anything but a friend. They explode when they finally get together but Justin is willing to wait as long as it takes for Chloe to give them a chance. Can they leave the past behind and look to the future?
Mrs. Foster does it again. I always thought TRU BLUE would be my favorite book but this one just might take its place. A sexy, tattooed man that will do absolutely anything for the woman he has fallen for. The sex scenes will leave you needing a cigarette and cold, cold shower. The Wicked cousins are awesome and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
