Too Wicked to Woo
He’s dark and dangerous and so delicious, how can she resist…
Miss Penny Clearwater considers herself a sensible woman. After all, she’s navigated her mother’s death, her father’s financial ruin, and her own fall from society with all the grace she could muster. So when her friend, Lady Chloe Dryden suggests they make a chronicle teaching young ladies of London all about the elusive rake, Penny refuses. It’s a silly idea that could end in absolute disaster. Except, she’s almost nothing left to lose. And when the perfect rake crosses her path, why not do a little research on Lord Preston? So he’s handsome and dashing… she’s only interested in the book, of course. Isn’t she?
Lord Wesley Preston hasn’t had much by the way of successes since he left the military. A failing earldom, a bad accountant, and a drinking habit have left him in tatters. He desperately needs a break. And when Miss Clearwater stumbles into his life, he discovers that she had just inherited a large piece of land perfect for farming, if only she had someone to help her do the work. Wes makes her a proposition he hopes she can’t refuse. Accept his proposal of marriage, become a countess, and make both their lives better.
The problem? Penny takes one look at him and declares him the worst sort of rake. She’s right of course. But how far will he go to prove to her that he can change?

Earl of Dryden, by Tammy Andresen. This book is a short romantic read. Tammy Andresen writing is fantastic. She introduced an intriguing topic that grabbed her readers attention. Tammy brought informative facts that backed the plot to the drama of the story. She focused her story on the two main characters, Fin and Chloe.
Fin, comes across Chloe at a ball, as she’s talking to a statue. Oddly this did not dissuade Fin from finding Chloe intriguing, nor wanting to talk to her. Chloe trying as she might did all she could to avoid Fin, but the attractive pull he has for he was to strong. Upon the two getting to know each other out on the balcony, evil things comes to surface. Fin makes a declaration to protect this angel, that has been sent to him.
Through their journey, Fin comes to turn with his demons and hopes to be the strong man that Chloe needs. With the help of family and friends, will Chloe and Fin learn to trust each other? Will they be able to love one another? Can Fin tear down the barriers around his heart and tell Chloe the dark secrets of his past? The book is easy to read and definitely kept a swift pace while reading.
The book didn’t drag or lag at all. Tammy provided details to the scenes, giving her readers the imagination that they needed to get lost in her book. In future reading by Tammy Andresen, I know that readers will love to read more detailed love scenes regarding there characters. Perhaps these scenes can span over 2-3 pages. Beginning from the romance and four play of love making. And the after moments of coupling.
The two characters could share intimate conversations/ pillow talk during this time. I recommend this book. Until next my fellow readers…read on! I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy.
To Wicked To Woo, by Tammy Andresen. This story is well written. The writer focused the readers attention on Penny and Wes. She showed the love and romance that blossoms between the two characters with a good plot. The characters worked well together from how they are described and the troubling past that they worked hard to stay away from. This is good writing and a good book.
To Wicked To Want, by Tammy Andresen. Truly a wicked and humorous love story between Annie and Lucas. I loved how at the beginning when the two met, Annie was able to match with Lucas. While Lucas tried being intimidating, Annie used her whit and humorous charm on him. As I read this I stated that, she was a clever smart girl.
I like the give and take of our main couple. Clearly in the writing. Lucas stood no chance in trying to avoid Annie and wanting to marry her. I like how Annie’s character is very different from the rest of the ladies. She was smart. Very independent.
She definitely can take care of herself. The love the grew between Lucas and Annie was steamy and very hot. This is terrific writing for this s
To Wicked To Wed, bye Tammy Andresen. Oh my gosh, I so enjoyed reading this romance story. Tammy, what did you do to me? Everything and I mean everything about this love story melted my heart. Your ability to wrap family drama in with romance was sublime.
You had me gasping. I was yelling, oh no she didn’t? I was yelling, you witch! Get her Pierce! Send that child where she belongs.
I was at the edge of my seat. The family drama was juicy! Juicy! Wow. And then, what was happening with Helena!? Lord have mercy. Things where popping off left and right around Pierce and Caroline. What was so heartwarming though, was that Pierce didn’t waiver. He new that he loved Caroline. She was his objective and he was going to do what he could to protect her, and make her his.
Before this was to happen he had to fight evil that was within his own house. Caroline, she really tried not to coward away from her past mistake, but her self confidence really weighed on her mind. With Chloe and Caroline’s Aunt at her side, they pushed her out there to fight all who tried to make her feel less than what she was. One thing Caroline new, she new in her heart that she loved Pierce. My fellow readers.
I recommend this book book. I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy.
