There is a razor thin edge between love and hate.
As the crown prince of Denmark, duty and honor come first. So when I meet a fiesty pink haired girl from the wrong side of the tracks, I keep mum about my royal birth. That way I can have one earth shattering night together with her.Proud, rebellious, gorgeous — Margot is my weakness.Sleeping with her is the best thing I can’t ever do again… … with her is the best thing I can’t ever do again… until I realize that she’s a journalist. Reporters like her have made my life a living hell. And when she shows up again in Copenhagen again? She’s tasked with doing a story about me and the future of the royal line.
So Margot and I are shackled together. She hates my guts because I ditched her without a word back in New York. And my teeth are set on edge by her endless barrage of questions and snapping photos.
I don’t want to find her attractive. I want to be repulsed. But…
Now that we’re forced together, my resolve starts to crumble. Every time our hands brush, every damn time she bites her lip… Eventually, even my strong will can’t overcome temptation. Though it’s wrong, even though I might lose everything, I can’t resist her.

I have been wanting to read a book by this author for ages after hearing such great things and I am pleased I did. This modern day fairytale has such a great twist that it certainly has you guessing just how the heck things could possibly work out or if they even could.
Stellan Love is twenty-six years old and the future king of Denmark. He is one hot, gorgeous piece of man-candy; however, with his family expectations, he maintains an aloof air that he has perfected. He is also quite moody, and these can change very quickly. In saying all of this as the story progresses, and his character develops, I found myself liking him more and more because he even started to become more honest with himself.
Margot Keane is a Wendy-three-year-old photojournalist who is somewhat of a radical in many ways. I totally love her independence and determination, although some may call it being stubborn. She really did bite off more than she could chew in this story but Margot’s ‘don’t give up’ attitude is her strength. She has the most giving and loving heart.
This story shared an interesting glimpse into the life of a royal, whether it is entirely accurate or not, it certainly showed a different view of their life. Although, knowing all royalty is under enormous stress, the everyday details were enlightening.
I do admit after reading the descriptions of Denmark and Norway I would love to visit, perhaps in the summer though. The character and setting descriptions are detailed and give a clear picture of each scene. I have to admit this story’s pace started a tad slow but picked up and then the pages seemed to flip by quickly.
Of course, now I need to read about Annika and Erika! I will try to be patient.

This is a fantastic read that had me turning the pages
from start to finish.
Stellan and Margot Have a very interesting relationship.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I absolutely loved this modern day fairytale romance! Everyone loves a royal love story with a prince falling in love with a commoner, and I am certainly no exception. This is a heartwarming, fascinating yet steamy enemies to lovers romance. What a total swoonfest. I am so enamored. So smitten. So absolutely enchanted. This is an engaging story that will keep you captivated throughout this addictive page-turner. I was hooked from the very first page—laughing, swooning, and fanning. Prince Stellan Augustus Love IV is the oldest sibling and a crown prince in line to be king—or will he? He is tall, handsome, brawny with come-hither eyes, and regal credentials that makes him one of the most eligible bachelors. Stellan knows that duty and honor comes before what he wants but much to the royal household’s despair, he refuses to settle down with an arranged marriage. Margot Keane is an ordinary American girl, who is poor and had a hard life, but she was fortunate to put herself through college with scholarships to attend NYU. Margot was living a life she hoped to be extraordinary one day. Little does she know that she is about to meet the most extraordinary person of all…. When Stellan met Margot in NYC by chance at a club, he is spontaneously attracted to the pink haired, feisty, sassy, and rebellious punk rock beauty who is very outspoken. After the turmoil in NYC, Margot escapes the paparazzi in NYC and flies to Copenhagen with Pippa, her best friend, for a journalist job with a newspaper. I love Margot’s fiery attitude, smartness, and fierceness. As a journalist in Copenhagen, Margot was given an assignment to do a story about the crown prince, but to her dismay, she would have to spend time with Stellan every day. Stellan can’t afford to cause any further embarrassment to the royal family, like he did in NYC. Margot soon finds out that royal life is not as glamorous as it seems, and Margot will have to decide what she values more—her love for Stellan or control over her own destiny. Will Stellan be able to control his temptation of wanting Margot just one more time or will he jeopardize his responsibility of his royal duties? Find out if love will reign or will duty and honor reign? What happens next? Well, read this amazing story and find out! You won’t regret it! Vivian Wood’s books will be salacious with an engrossing love story, interesting plots and dialogues with strong conflicts, artfully developed main characters, and they will pique your interest and drawn you in. I am impressed with Vivian Wood’s ability to make the relationship feel completely realistic.
Stellan and Margot’s book is filled with plenty of emotional turmoil, tension and desire. This is a royal romance and I personally am always intrigued by the normal pull between heart and head but by the added conflict between duty and desire and self and country. I found the story easy to get into and the characters likable (even if Stellan could be a real jerk at times and Margot had quite the attitude). In spite of the major differences that this pair had, I felt they fit together beautifully into a couple that had you rooting for them with your whole heart. This is my volitional, candid review.
Stellan and Margot have a whirlwind romance that is hot. Love the connection they have together. Love the story line and the other characters.

This book was kind of a rush. Royal stories are usually hit or miss with me because I can find them unrealistic at times. I didn’t ever really feel that with this book. At least, not as a whole. Sure, there were times that I questioned certain things in the story but I felt that the world-building adequately portrayed real-life situations. Even if those situations are out of the norm for us regular folk.
The writing style was a little scattered for me. I found the narration to be a little bland and overall not very warm. The writing voice was just missing a little bit of spark. At the same time, I also found it easy to read once I got into the story more. The pacing felt a little slow at the start but once I was hooked on the story it didn’t bother me much. I think that the author handled the plotting of the story really well but I felt that the conflict kind of petered out at the end and everything wrapped up a little too nicely. I was very invested in the story and definitely found myself turning the pages quickly.
At the beginning I didn’t really connect with these characters but as time went on I felt myself really attached to them and their story. They really grew on me. In the end, I found them really relatable and likable. I felt that the character development was done very well and the character growth was evident by the end of the book. I also very much liked the secondary characters in the story and I can’t wait to see more of them in future books in this series.
The romance in this book was really more of an instalove situation, which I admit isn’t my favorite. Though I can’t deny that Stellan and Margot had definite chemistry. Instalove aside, I was still rooting for this couple.
Overall, this is a royal story that will rile you up and leave you satisfied. This has a riveting story, enjoyable characters, and terrific world-building. I am very excited for the rest of the books in this new series!
Margot boo hoos over her fate that she caused!!! WTH! Take responsibility chit! It’s laughable how she projects her guilt on Stellan and blames him for her actions. No integrity at all!! She brought this all on herself with het stupid media posts!!! Margot seemed very jealous of Stellan’s luck to be born with wealth. Sour grapes much?? Why is she so antagonistic, aggressive, and overly critical of Stellan -because she’s the one severely lacking!!! Margot was inconsistent and ambiguous for most of the story. She has sex and feelings but can’t decide to stay with Stellan! She’s so frustrating! With major prodding from Pippa, Margot has an emotional and mental growth spurt and acts like an adult. Yes, miracles do happen! Looking forward to the next book.
This is a enemies to lovers story. Loved Stellan and Margot. Beautiful story with amazing characters and chemistry.
Margot met Prince Stellan, and it has turned her life upside down, forcing her to flee New York and go to Denmark, to escape the madness that was taking over her life. Although coming to Denmark, may not solve all her problems, and she didn’t expect to have to deal with Prince Stellan again. Will their attraction end up causing more scandals? I loved both Margot and Stellan, they have a great attraction to one another, and certainly some wicked moments.
Stellan and Margot … GAHHH!
If there ever was a dream couple, it is these two. A match made in heaven!
If you need some romance in your life, grab this novel.
If you need some spicy scenes, grab this novel.
If you need a great love story, grab this novel.
Grab it anyway, because it’ll be so worth your time.
I loved both characters, they are so strong and vulnerable at the same time. After really getting to know each other and seeing through the walls that they need to protect themselves, they are warm, empathetic and caring, and it is really amazing to watch how their love story and whirlwind romance unfolds. Although they have very different backgrounds, they click together like two missing pieces and I loved the way they have overcome every bump on their way to a happily ever after.
I can’t wait to read more about the Løve family!
4*
Margot is a junior reporter & meets Stellan on a night out with her friend Pippa
Stellan is there on a break from royal duties but doesn’t confess who he is.
A picture posted leads to problems for them both.
A mystery job offer puts the two together again but not everything is plain sailing nor are they all happy to begin with this arrangement
I love this Cinderella story and her not so charming prince! Margot and Stellan come from different worlds, but the night they meet at a club in NYC they are strangers with explosive chemistry. Margot has no idea who Stellan is so when her social media pic goes viral all hell breaks loose! Of course after their smoking hot one night, and disastrous next morning, Margot ends up taking a job in Stellan’s home country. Margot is looking for a new start, but when she is assigned to do a story on the Prince she knows her new start may not happen! I love their story, the drama, the tension, the passion….loved it all!!
