I love to read about this period in history. I have read several books written by Philippa Gregory and she is an excellent writer of historical fiction.

Ms Gregory makes history come alive. She researches thoroughly while telling the story in an entertaining way. Love all her books.

Great book! As you can imagine, the book is much better than the movie. Not that the movie wasn’t good for it was. But you get a more in-depth understanding of the characters and their motivations from the book. This book has made me a Phillippa Gregory fan.
