About the Justice Series: Washington, D.C. is full of powerful women. Some are just a little more controlling than others. In this series, each book will introduce one of three D.C.-based Femme Dommes—Stella, Candor and Julianna—and the submissive men who give them what they need: discipline, love and a larger purpose.

This is a short and hot BDSM story. If you want a quick steamy read this is perfect for you.
For me, a great story starts with the author getting me to care about the characters. I want to be invested in their story. Elizabeth SaFleur did this in The White House gets a Spanking. I didn’t know what to expected from this book – I purposely did not read any reviews or spoilers. Of course, I did expect some spanking, it in the title, lol. But this book is so much more than spankings. What a wonderful read!
Steamy and sensuous. Really enjoyed this new-to-me author – written in a way that draws you into the story with realistic plot and characters. I felt the tension between Stella and Laird from the very first meeting, and it grew steadily as I became a captive spectator to their journey. Their chemistry was explosive and I was unable to stop reading once I started. While books with a female dominant are not my usual selection, a good book is a good book regardless of the relationship dynamic. This book hits all the right buttons: a well written story with heat that comes off the pages in an oh-so-yummy way. I will definitely be reading more by this author.
This book was amazing!! Loved the characters. The story was very well written!! Once I started reading it I didn’t want to put it down!! Highly recommended!!
Wasn’t sure what to think about the book based on the title, but I do appreciate Elizabeth as an author so I dove right in. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed her story. Elizabeth was able to mix steamy scenes with a great love story where 2 characters had to get beyond their hang-ups to truly let go. Engaging and a fast read, I recommend this is you are looking for new read or author.
Unfortunately this book was a DNR for me at 30%. It’s just not for me. Well written just couldn’t keep my interest (I’ve been trying to read it for over a week)
Elizabeth SaFleur gives us a rare glimpse into the Fem Domme, male submissive dynamic in this book. Add to that the setting of the White House and striking similarities to the current administration you have an intriguing romance. Laird is a man absolutely in control of his professional life but the need to submit in his personal life is palpable. Stella is an investigative journalist, a woman in control in every aspect of her life. Together they must wade through the murky political waters of Washington. Her dominance over him gives them what they both need to survive.
First of all I have to say that I love this cover.
I can’t say that the Femme Domme genre would be among my preferred reading lists but Elizabeth SaFleur writes excellent stories and I thought I should give it a chance.
All of the characters in the book are given personalities that let you like or hate them accordingly. I liked the tension caused by Stella and Laird working together (sort of) in a stuffy, restrictive work environment. The extra drama added by the incident at David’s kept me on edge waiting for the gavel to fall. The book is well paced and wraps up nicely. Overall, it is a great little book with heart and a real plot and not just scenes to titillate. I always love when an author provides an epilogue and I was not disappointed this time.
I was given an advanced copy by the author and I voluntarily reviewed this book but also purchased it, as I believe in supporting my favorite authors.
The White House Gets a Spanking was an interesting book and a fast book to read. This book gives a look at Washington DC that I am sure we will never see.
This is my second book to read by this author and I decided I would give The White House Gets a Spanking a go and decided I would read it. My preference for books in the BDSM genre would still be for female submissives instead of male ones. I love me an Alpha Male! (yes, I know that is bad grammar). Maybe if women were running the country now things would be much better off but, I digress.
This is Stella Martin’s (a Domme’) and Laird Harkness (the submissives) story. Laird is the Whitehouse Communications Director and Stella was a Whitehouse Reporter. Of course, they need to be very quiet about their relationship. The sex is very hot and sexy between the two of them. I don’t want to say more and I will let you find out about it on your own.
I enjoyed this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
