I generally don’t read stories about lawyers, but this one was thoroughly engaging. Great characters and fast paced.
Excellent story!!!
This was a very interesting book regarding coal mining and the owners of the mines.
Excellent book. I work for a law firm so I an interested to read books dealing with legal issues. Especially since one of my attorneys just work on a whistleblower case. I especially loved the characters in this book. Highly recommend this book.
loved this book
good read
Good story. The “perfection” of the main character’s home life, wife and marriage was overdone, especially in the first few chapters. There was also a lot of switching of tenses, often within the same sentence when the hero was narrating. Almost caused me to quit reading the book, several times; very distracting from an otherwise enjoyable story.
If you like legal thrillers you will like this.
Really liked All the characters, even those that were written to be unlikeable.. Easy reading
Interesting plot and good characters that were pretty realistic.
Loved it !! A legal thriller at it’s best.
Absolutely looked this book. I’m reading another. Fantastic author
David P. Warren is the author. Could not put it down.
I always root for the underdog. This is a great story which i hope happens all the time. A dedicated employee who finally gets what he deserves.
Some good Life Lessons in there .Philosophy 101 stuff.
It was such a pleasure to meet a lawyer who is honest, principled, hard-working, a good family man and faithful husband. Pit him against a huge mining company with questionable practices and leadership, and you’ve got a great read. Although written in an omniscient point of view, the majority of the book is in first person with the main character; this is a real bonus, especially with how he handles other lawyers and the judge. Five strong stars.
I enjoyed because it was realistic ~ the author wrote about a subject he knows well. Characters all had a lot of depth. Good plot.
I enjoyed this book a lot. Many of the free books I get on Kindle are so-so, but this was very good. The main character is an attorney who is one of the good guys as well as happily married. He’s very likable but not afraid to go against a large company who has fired an excellent employee for “whistle blowing” about a safety issue that was not addressed and caused a fatal accident.
Keeps you wanting to read more. Very entertaining.
Easily and quickly read but interesting through out.
Anyone having seen unfair termination of position will like this.
Enjoyed this book. Felt it might be realistic .
